Spectrum has been out 2 times and for long periods in the last week. gonna have to change to att. spectrum is so damn bad. Dont use them even if their prices are better - you will have buffering all the time and outages every other week. They suck. read more

Quality of internet: poor, I had the highest gig they provide. It wasn't even fast. I would always have problems with them towards the end of the month. Mind you, I used auto pay so the money deducts automatically. Until they received payment, my internet would always slow down by the last week of the month. When I complained about it to them. They would say, you need to upgrade your modem. I upgraded my modem three times since I was with them. I had to be with them because my subdivision only allowed them as internet and TV provider. Thankfully, AT&T came in. We switched. I don't recommend them at all. The customer service was good though. They always came out to see the issues, the phone people were polite. It's just the service and the company. Don't even waste your money and time with them. read more

I've been a Spectrum customer since it converted from Time Warner. I rarely have outages with Spectrum. The internet speeds are excellent. The staff has always been friendly and efficient. It seems like my neighbors with AT&T constantly have problems. I don't know what AT&T charges, but Spectrum is not cheap. read more

I broke my phone a week before Mother's Day. I was constantly going back and forth to the Frisco location, and every time I went, I was greeted, and was taken care of, and received information that helped along the way every time. Long story short, Brenden, Shawn, Cayce, Krista, and the manager at the Frisco location were ALL very kind and very willing to help me no matter the problem I had. Got a new phone a week later and advice on how to deal with a "sticky" situation in the meantime. I was very pleased to see all of these kind representatives giving a helping hand and information to help with my situation. Thank you all, and you all deserve a Raise! jaja if only huh Spectrum... well they have my respect. Will continue to come here and say hi lol read more

They have the "screw the customer whenever you can" attitude. This is third time. First two time the increased the bill and charged my card without informing the price increase. After three years I wanted to give another try. Ordered the service. Got an email stating that they started billing, before even I installed. When I called customer service "we started billing but you don't owe anything now". I didn't understand why you bill customers before even the service started. I immediately cancelled and returned the equipment. read more

Avoid Spectrum at all costs. There's no customer service, when you inquire about options, they will tell you there are none and until you submit your cancellation in, which is too late. Been with spectrum for 3+ years had not been able to use any other service provider. I was paying for their top speed of one gig even though my speeds were reading 1/2 of that and they made it a point to tell me that my service was nowhere near what I should be getting so they had to send a technician out. Service also frequently drops and is not reliable. when I found out my discount was being removed by then immediately called to cancel my service at that time I was two days past my billing cycle and it was too late inspector said I'm so sorry there's nothing that we can do and that even though I canceled today because I was able to go through AT&T fiber optic who offers better speed upload and download significantly faster who is charging me $37 a month. Spectrum is still requiring me to pay them my $95 even though I'm turning in my equipment today, because they are a " monthly subscription company" read more

This company sucks. They make it so hard to cancel and the guy on the phone was asking me what I like to watch on Netflix. Maybe he was being nice but came off weird and I just wanted to cancel. Now they are charging me for a full month of service even though I cancelled 5 days into the month what a joke. Taking advantage of customers left and right - go to ATT instead read more

Worst provider ever. I suffer from no internet 3 to 4 times a day and they told me it maybe because I am not on their 1 Gig plan and to upgrade. The apartment chose our plans and it is a service associated with it. People in my building suffer droppages and at random times during meeting and events. Then do not get me started on my transfer and the fact they canceled it and didn't show up on the day of it after 20 calls to set it up. Worlds Worst read more

Company of scammers. I called them to ask if their internet could be used at my apartment complex and was told yes. I get their equipment and no matter what outlet I plug it into it doesn't work, so they send out a technician who ends up calling me and informing me that I was lied to, and that service could not be provided to my address. I got busy and will admit that I took a while to return their plastic box, so I was expecting a frivolous charge for that but as it turns out they actually activated my service without my permission and with being able to see in their system that I never was able to set the box up and began charging me normally as if I was. I now owe them almost $200 for no service provided and the lady over the phone would not do anything about it. Basically they're scamming me, as I wasnt able to use a single Kilobyte of their internet but have to pay a month and a late charge regardless. Do not go with their internet service. Even something like Starlink is a better alternative to dealing with these animals read more

Received a great service. The guys are so good. Was served by a gentleman called Francisco, and the rest of the team contributed to our matter. They are so welcoming. I will definitely recommend you visit this Spectrum. their prices are very favorable read more

Can anybody advise me City of Frisco or state where can I complain about Spectrum Cheating Network. They offer once price, bill different price, start billing earlier than activation, poor quality of internet even with a Gig connection. Will never try Spectrum again. read more

This company has the absolute worst customer service! Will be discontinuing service after a year! What a joke they offered me $25 credit for a billing inquiry I made. Then when I asked to speak to a mgr, the mgr told me he would not honor the $25 credit since I asked to escalate!!! How shitty is this!!! DO NOT use their TV or mobile/internet services. You get what you pay for and the low budget bills come with low budget service! read more

Go on d job overall as top internet provider for McKinney Speed is good with no interruptions read more

Terrible, terrible, terrible! I called to cancel my service, they had confirmed it was cancelled, then raised my rate (more than double) and continued to bill me for another two months. I called again to ask for a refund because I cancelled my service and they said THEY didn't have any record of the cancellation when I did. They claim to record calls but refused to go back and listen to my previous call and would not refund me. Total bullshit, get any other service provider. read more

If you have other options, DO NOT use Spectrum. I'm stuck with them for 8 years cuz they monopolize my area. Been 7-8 years, never fix my connection. Was told if you have 300mb, it's up to 300, if you have 40mb is considered good?? Internet loss every few min, now I'm paying 1gb, still the same. Their system can't even recognize their own equipment. read more

Simply the worst as always sales people lied again, they gave me a package deal and got charged differently, of course they say " I'm sorry for the inconvenience " but still over charged. Very simple ... They will never loose period. They don't even care or affect a low well earned rating since we will still use them regardless, they actually laugh at us I wish we could go back in time and don't need an Internet conexión for everything we do now days read more

We were referred here by our apartment complex. We called them yesterday afternoon to see if we could set it up and by that evening we had WiFi! We got the most basic plan but it's a lot faster than I anticipated! I had pretty low expectations and was expecting something just a little smoother than dial up LOL. Anyways, it all went better than I expected so I think people should stop hating on them. read more

Horrendous, the rudest customer service on Earth. I own several rental properties and I have never ever been talked to the way these employees have dealt with me. Closed the account, new renters took over new account months ago and so-called customer service will still not stop harassing me...they call me everyday from a 800 number for payments even after the account closed, for the "equipment". When I finally answered one day, I told them I won't pay anything over the phone, send me a statement, they get hostile and threaten to send me to collections. Worse company ever. Avoid them at all costs if possible. read more

I have been on hold for 45 minutes to modify my service, I have no idea if they just have one customer service or none. It's now 50 mi

After AT&T could do nothing for me, Craig at this spectrum location was so sweet and so helpful! He set up my internet so fast and really made my day so much better. Really great experience! read more

i cancelled service on 9 15/2023 the billed me for a whole month anyway. refused to change bill. said i had not completed cancellation process. i turned equipment in on10/3/23 but charged me anyway. beware their cancellation policy. you have to cancel same day you call. they will not take a future date for cancelation. no one explained their policy when i called to cancel. put on hold for 35 minutes when i asked for a supervisor. they would not give me their name or a number to file a complaint. read more

This company sucks. No way to actually communicate with them even without Covid they sucked as no one cares. I have been missing channels for a month and they don't seem to care. I do not recommend this company to anyone who has a brain. Pitiful and right now they are digging up my entire neighborhood and it looks disgusting... it is a 5 star neighbor and it looks like below 1 star with all of their crappy work. read more

Spectrum sent a tech to my 85 yr old grandmothers house WITHOUT a mask or gloves DURING A GLOBAL PANDEMIC. After 2 hours on the phone trying to get someone to acknowledge how AWFUL this is, we got a RIDICULOUS offer of $20 FOR ENDANGERING HER LIFE. Stay away from this horrendous company that cares NOTHING for their customers! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! read more

They deserve 0 stars. The steal money and lie. Don't bother trying to "switch" your service if you move, just find a new provider to avoid being chargeed extra read more

Worst company in the history of mankind! Unreliable, and slow as Christmas in the rare chance it does work. Service techs are complete trash. Will trade out with other faulty equipment. Local offices dgaf about you. read more

Spectrum has the absolute worst Wi-Fi. spectrum has the worst download speeds and they have the worst upload speeds I have ever seen. I get 20 Mbps upload speed Max. And 200 Mbps is my max download. I don't recommend getting spectrum Wi-Fi. AT&T has the best home Wi-Fi and it's great for gaming, office work, and more. I get around 60 to 80 ping while playing games and I have Ethernet directly going from my router to my Xbox And it's still has horrible ping, download, and upload speeds. But my friend has AT&T fiber and he gets 2 ping and 900 to 1,200 Mbps on both upload and download. So if your a gamer or someone that enjoys high speed Wi-Fi I don't recommend spectrum. Plus, You can get the AT&T Fiber 1 gig Home Wi-Fi plan and its only 10 more dollars a month. Now if you don't need high speeds you can get their 300 to 500 Mbps plan that actually gets speeds well over 500 Mbps download and upload. Also, if your looking into the 1 gig spectrum Wi-Fi plan its 10 dollars cheaper for a very good reason. It doesn't even get 1 gig speeds. DON'T GET SPECTRUM!!! read more

We've had Spectrum for years and had very few issues, but lately we keep having outages. We've had two long outages in the last two weeks. And not just a few houses involved, probably hundreds of houses, maybe thousands. Lately they have been as unreliable as AT&T and that's saying something. read more

Stay away!!!. I was sweet-talked to try their mobile service for a 14-day trial and was told I won't be charged. I tried it but their network was horrible so I canceled. To my surprise I was charged a $50 restocking fee after returning their phone. I called and complained but they said there's nothing they can do. They never even asked me why I canceled. It's like they cared more about keeping my $50 than helping a customer. I feel cheated. read more

I moved from an Apt to a home. I called and had my cable/internet service stopped effective April 20. I returned all the equipment as directed without problem. Then I receive my final bill for approx $150 for service from April 15 thru May 15. I think that it is clearly a mistake so I call. I spoke to 2 different CSR's and finally the "shift leader". They all explain the same thing. "Spectrum bills monthly and they do not pro-rate". So I clarified with the manager. I asked him "Are you telling me that although I cancelled my service 5 days into the billing cycle and am not under any contract that I must still pay for the entire month in advance even though I have already returned the equipment and cannot even use it"? He said "yes, that is correct". "Because we have already issued the bill". I explained to him that I have NEVER heard of any company with that kind of policy and I thought it was unethical and borderline illegal. No one was friendly or offered in any way to help resolve this. As if they did not care about customer service at all. Now I am forced to pay for a service that I can't use. Be warned, this is a SHADY company with no concern for customer satisfaction. Damon F read more
