The more I thought about it, I sent 75$ and had stopped the original 157.73 at the bank from drafting. Now they are pestering me for the remainder. Rather than ruin my credit and after sending all their equipment and extra remotes we bought, I will have to pay the balance. This is no way to conduct business. If they had excepted that I wanted to be disconnected with a sorry to see you go, it would have been fine. But in two calls they were trying to sell me something else or give me something else free for 30 days and I would have had to go through the same mess to stop that. Had no issue when o changed to dish from direct tv. So consider this if you choose to get a satellite from them

Past due amount rolls over, so before that is due, they harass, nag, and beg. Not worth the "services!" They harass the elderly, then lie about who is doing it and why! They will not be here, canceled! Call, wait on billing, speak to the computer,finally, and then what? Not MY department , ADELL! ADELL in billing, not collections! Go hock your new customer specials, and screw them over too! I asked to NOT receive calls at 8:00 a.m. to the elderly! ADELL says they can do this? I am on Central time! So my request is not only ignored, but me, the customer is corrected, over talked, and the law is quoted to me, the prayer of the bill! Oh look! They offer internet for $30.00! Lie!

Came here the other day to return my cable box and was blown away…read more First, this store must have had an upgrade recently because the inside is very pretty and modern. Second, I have never encountered friendlier people at a cable/internet store. The manager opened the door for me, greeted me nicely, and checked me in. The girl, Cassandra, who helped me was very kind as well. Even though I came here to end my service, I was happy with the Internet and cable I had through Charter overall.

She recently canceled her service and was still charged the full $90 bill ... no proration, no courtesy, no loyalty consideration. At some point, companies need to ask themselves if profit matters more than people. Long-time customers, especially seniors, deserve better than this. This just feels greedy and money hungry.
