Pleasantly surprised! After visiting Kutztown University, my son and I wanted to grab a bite to eat before the drive home. The menu has something for everyone. We got wings, which were cooked to my liking... crispy and without breading. There were over 25-30 sauces to choose from! My son also liked his BBQ chicken sandwich. Fries were hot and excellent. Will return!

These wings were different yet tasty! The beer was cold and had many craft options. Would definitely have the wings again if in the area. Right amount of heat and sweetness on each bite! Mostly bar food but it had a nice crowd at Happy Hour on a Monday.

We came for the wings and beer... lip smackin good (seriously tho... try that flavor). Our waitress was new and didn't know much about the draft beer, but the service was great and the food came out right on time. This is a place you can bring your family or friends and enjoy some brews and good eats.

I'm rating Spectators 4.5 tonight. Everything was delicious. Food was hot, best fried bar food you can find and quickly prepared, The service was prompt, efficient and friendly. More healthy choices would give it a 5*. Great local pub and really nice when a band is playing in back like this Sunday. Thanks for the great food & service!

We stopped in for dinner on a Friday night. We always get the wings as they have over 50 wing sauces. They have a nice friendly bar atmosphere and plenty of seating for the family. A great local hang out and crowd. The staff is awesome and the food is always excellent. Sunday is the place to be to watch sports as they have over 15 TVs.

Great bartenders. Food isn't consistent, especially if they are busy. Fun local place and not too loud

Looked like a friendly bar. Beer was good. Food we ordered was barely passable. First time there, won't be back.

If this is what they serve when they have limited facilities, I can't imagine what they can do at the taphouse and with a fully functioning truck! If I lived in the area, I would be stalking their Food Truck schedule religiously! Seriously though, it was so great to work with this team for the event I held at the Brewery this past weekend. It made planning everything from a distance seamless and stress free - which is an absolute gift in this day and age. Huge, huge thanks to that team and everything they did to make it a wonderful birthday bash! Bottom line: FOLLOW this food truck! If you need CATERING, you need to use these guys and you better order that brisket! If you are in Kutztown -- why are you eating any place else?!? :)

Definitely try the drinks as well, they make wonderful concoctions. Highly recommend!

Impeccable. Firstly…read morethe Ambiance is uniquely suited to the libations they serve, both esoteric and plain, paying homage to tradition like their life depends on it. Music was good, Alvvays's Eponymous album followed by some Chick Corea. Service was very nice, the bartender had been at the winery that had inhabited the barn before the Referend - which is just sublime continuity. Biers and Wines were excellent, I've been to a Blendery before but these guys have it down pat. The Ale conditioned on Chantelle was homey, you could almost make out that slight apricot note you get from Chantrelles. Jung was like liquid sawdust (but it was good trust me). Pomes was wonderfully effervescent. Therein Wines were surprising! The White was a wonderful little pop of flavor that retreats rather quickly, making it nigh impossible to tease out notes, very secretive. The Red was grand, laden with notes of cacao nibs, leather, and deep fruit. If you want to be a bona-fide A1 Knower, you gotta get out to The Referend.

Set up in an oldschool red barn, this bier blendery is not your typical brewery as they use the "spontaneous brewing" for their drinks,so the only "known" factor here is that the end result will be sour :) really friendly staff helped us identify what to order based on what we like typically. We tried 3 different beers and all were exactly that - sour - but in their own unique style (think tart cherries, mix with a Riesling grape,a bit of pine). Very cozy (though a tad dark) inside, and they play music out of vinyls! Some grass parking behind the barn (don't expect a dedicated lot). Overall,a very unusual but enjoyable experience while visiting!

We had to wait sometime to be seated so much so that align started to form just to be seated. A waitress had to stop what she was doing to seat several of us. Once seated, our server was visibly overwhelmed. We placed our drink order and scanned the menu. When our sandwiches arrived, they were piping hot. His pulled pork on a pretzel bun was quite greasy and very messy to eat flavor wise. He said it was OK as for my smothered chicken sandwich the chicken was pounded to just the right thickness. It was juicy and cooked through. The highlight of my meal was the cucumber salad probably one of the best I've had fresh and crispy and delightfully sweet. We had to sit some time to get refills on our drinks and get the check as our server was as mentioned earlier, overwhelmed. As always, this restaurant charges the customer for the fees incurred for using a debit or a credit card, however, Ozgoods does not take advantage and charges exactly what the fee is. I think ours was a dollar or something. We have been many other places that charge 345 even 6% to use your card. I appreciate Ozgoods for their honesty. In addition to the indoor seating, there is outdoor seating on the porch and we may return at some point to check out the outdoor dining.

The tables are pretty much right on top of the band because the space is so small given the bar. We could barely hear each other and eventually asked if there were seating upstairs because we kept seeing customers come up and down the staircase. The host said yes and was able to get us moved upstairs, which created a much better experience now that we could actually talk to each other. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and kindly. We ordered some alcoholic beverages, which were good and ordered some appetizers which were good as well. Here is where the two stars comes into play. One of their specials was a Dijon mustard sauce with mushrooms over chicken and rice. When the waiter had told us a specials, I thought I had heard him say it was sautéed. He had told us the specials downstairs with the music playing loudly, but apparently the chicken was prepared as grilled. (just to give context, grilled chicken or the taste of charcoal makes me nauseous.) When the dinner arrived, and I realized it was grilled, I spoke to the waiter and had said I'm very sorry but I thought you had said this was sautéed and he even said he may have made that mistake since he said it earlier to another table and that he would bring the meal down to the kitchen and have them fix the order with a sautéed chicken. About 20 minutes later after my friends had already finished their meals the chicken dinner was brought back to me. I noticed that the chicken was incredibly small maybe the size of half of my palm and the rice was disheveled. The green beans were cold and there was absolutely no mushroom sauce on the chicken despite the rice having it look like it did have sauce on it at one point. At this point, I was just hungry and said you know what it is what it is I did ask the waiter if I could please get the Dijon mustard sauce and he said "oh it's not on the chicken?" and I showed him the plate and he looked at the size of the chicken and seemed concerned like he also noticed that something was off. When he left, I went to cut up the chicken to eat and noticed a blackened part underneath, so I flipped the chicken over and surprise surprise. It was the same piece of chicken the chef had literally ripped the top half of the grilled chicken off, flipped it over, and sent it back out to me. I have never had anything like this happen to me in my life. I was so disgusted. I called the waiter over and he seemed horrified by what the chef had done. Again, he was very nice but to be fair It is your job as a waiter to check the dish before bringing it to the customer. I can't blame him for the unprofessionalism of that kitchen, but he should have looked at that and said this dish doesn't look right before serving it to me. He immediately grabbed the dish said I'm going into the kitchen to find out what just happened and asked if there was something else he could make and I said at this point, I don't trust anything that's going to come out of the kitchen. He was extremely apologetic told me he completely understood and he would also feel the same way. Eventually, an older woman came to the table. I believe it's the manager. She was very kind but began making excuses for the kitchen saying that was a new chef and they're trying new recipes and that this was all a new thing. Instead of just saying, I'm horrified that the chef did not make you a new meal and he will be talked to about our standards and thoroughly retrained. While I appreciated her apology It felt very flat given her list of excuses of why a chef at a restaurant charging $35 a meal would take a meal cooked incorrectly and tear half the meat apart and reserve it to a customer. They obviously took the meal off the check which is to be expected and is genuinely the bare minimum. She took off an iced tea, which was three dollars and my soup which was $10. I left hungry and disappointed. If you choose to frequent this restaurant and you see a band playing downstairs, I would automatically ask for the upstairs seating. If there is something made wrong with your meal expressed to your waiter that you would like it redone correctly and you're expecting an actual new meal if it cannot be.

The portions were large and reasonably priced, and tasted very fresh and flavorful. The menu provides multiple options and a nice variety of which will certainly make you want to come back to try something new and different. My one daughter loved the pizza which was made with care and consideration for her allergies. It was larger than she expected and she was able to take half home for another satisfying meal. My other daughter stated she semi-enjoyed the shepherds pie, which had large chunks of beef in it. She liked the texture but felt that the gravy was a bit too much/something was off. She did state she preferred the shepherds pie she got from Hershey Harvest better, but this was still good. I loved my crab cake, broccoli, and onion rings.
