He mentioned that he previously worked as a Home Depot installer, which gave me confidence that he was properly trained. I was initially cautious because of the low number of reviews, but the consistent perfect scores from other customers made me optimistic. Now, after working with him, I can confidently say that Lucero's Windows and Doors is the real deal. Because our home required a custom-sized door, James came out twice to take measurements. After about two weeks, the custom entry door arrived, and he completed the installation in a single day. He told me our home was one of the oldest he's worked on, and the walls were very different from newer builds. Despite the challenges, he made everything fit perfectly, and the final result looks fantastic. We no longer feel a draft under the door, and it swings smoothly without any issues.

Now mind you I had the p-trap off for my plumbing which reduced the time by a fair amount. Well he takes less than an hour to do the snaking of my drain then quotes me at $175. Mind you a typical snaking from any plumbing company is $100. So not only did he more than double the quoted price it was above market standard. Now when I questioned him he suddenly couldn't speak English or Spanish. There was some back and forth, he then said he could give it to me for 160. On trying to pay the bill via Zelle, I got 3 warnings from Zelle stating they do not do any payments to this individual. So by now I had 2 RED FLAGS, unfortunately I am a person that feels someone should be paid for their work. So i gave him a check for 160. My fault, I should not have done that. I gave him the opportunity to refund me some of the money after I had a day to cool down. Stating his lack of professionalism, to which suddenly he spoke perfect Spanish with no issue. Another RED FLAG So to sum it up, INCONSISTENT PRICING, ACTS like he can't speak when addressing the pricing, and didn't even clean all the grease on the cabinet under the sink. Be very careful working with him and have everything in writing, do not trust his word.

In the process he's complaining that I'm checking his work and asking what he's doing as if I don't have a right to make sure the job is done right. He finally comes to work one day to so called continue. Without telling me he took his tools and left and blocked my number!!! Overall an incompetent liar. I suppose I should thank God for having this happened since if he had continued all the leaks would have destroyed my house.
