Friendly staff, but poor workmanship and unprofessional treatment ruined the experience…read more I chose Jupiter Auto Body over the Toyota dealer because I wanted to support a local shop, but I regret that decision. The positives: the office staff was friendly and professional, and my truck was nicely cleaned when I picked it up. Unfortunately, the actual repair was disappointing. Two parking sensors, which worked perfectly before, were broken during the bumper removal. At first, I was told I'd need to pay for them and was even called "ignorant" for questioning it. The bumper itself wasn't reinstalled properly either -- it now sits about a half inch below the step. (See pic) While the owner eventually agreed to take responsibility for the sensors, the way I was treated and the quality of the repair left me frustrated. I expected my truck to be restored to its original condition, but instead I left feeling let down and unwilling to return.

Noble's was recommended to me by a coworker who had great experiences with them but unfortunately I…read morecan't say the same. I called Wednesday January 14th to ask about when I got drop my Porsche off as it was leaking oil. The receptionist told me to bring it in Friday morning and they would look at it that day and let me know about repairs needed. I arranged a rental car and dropped my car off Friday morning at 8:45a . Did not hear from them at all Friday, so called Saturday. My car still hadn't been looked at so I was told to call Monday. I called Monday at noon and was told someone would call me back. I finally got a call back at 4pm Monday asking if I had recently gotten an oil change, which I said I had. The mechanic informed me the oil plug wasn't sealed correctly and asked me to take it back to whoever did the oil change. He also let me know there were other leaks in the engine and I needed new engine mounts. When I asked for the estimate for the above, he told me I wouldn't want to pay that much and I repeated that I'd like an estimate. He then told me it was too big of a job for him to take on during season. My boyfriend had to ask him twice more to just fix the oil plug for me and change the oil again. We finally picked the car up Tuesday afternoon and he still had to replace an oil stopper stick that I was apparently missing. This was the first time this part had been brought up, but fine. The oil change sensor was never reset and my car was lower on oil than when I brought it in so I still had to take it elsewhere to add oil. The mechanic recommended I take it to another person he knew who worked on Porsche's out of his house and I said absolutely not. Overall this was an absolute waste of money for my car to be there Friday am to Tuesday pm, be out money for a rental car I wouldn't have needed if proper communication was present, and still have to beg for a minor fix. I should have taken it to the dealership in the first place and put my money towards actual repairs instead of a wasted rental car and a lazy mechanic who didn't want to do any work on my car.

What do you most look for when seeking a skilled, non-dealer, car repair tech? After the obvious…read morethings, like competence and a technological knowledge/ability level with repairing the type of car that YOU drive, it's HONESTY and the quality of the work--clearly. At "Rudy's European Motorwerks," in Jupiter, you'll find ALL of these things in abundance. Manny is genuinely the most organized and one of the more knowledgeable auto-technical wizards that I've ever encountered. He's not a grease monkey--quite to the contrary, he's got a BS in Mechanical Engineering, coupled with humility and a huge ability to figure out what isn't already present in his vast memory and experience bank. He's a patient man, who listens carefully, invokes his wisdom through a detailed & focused approach, and runs a shop that's part library (THREE FULL WALLS of immaculately kept research books, manuals, and other assorted wisdom,) and part Automobile Hospital. His being from a rich Greek-American heritage also places him within a strong tradition that celebrates knowledge, insight, and method. I'm a fan for life...amazed that I got lucky enough (thanks to another Audi-owning Yelper,) to find this gem of a shop. Nothing's too exotic or too "niche" for Manny, it seems. The mechanics are hand-picked, talented, and I trust them...especially Giovanni: a man who clearly has the mindset of an old-world craftsman, along with the determination and dedication to make sure that the job gets done right--I detect a bit of the perfectionist in him, and it pleases me greatly that he's the one working on my 12-year-old Audi A6 BiTurbo. All in all, I simply state that my car and my wife's Acura will NOT be going anyplace else for repairs...EVER. No one else is going to be so much as touching my Audi, if I have anything to say about it. When it comes to "Rudy's European Motorwerks," they're my first family for automotive excellence. Even sharing this review feels like a labor of love, not a chore. Don't hesitate to trust your precious (and not so precious) vehicles in their more-than-capable hands.
