Noble's was recommended to me by a coworker who had great experiences with them but unfortunately I can't say the same. I called Wednesday January 14th to ask about when I got drop my Porsche off as it was leaking oil. The receptionist told me to bring it in Friday morning and they would look at it that day and let me know about repairs needed. I arranged a rental car and dropped my car off Friday morning at 8:45a . Did not hear from them at all Friday, so called Saturday. My car still hadn't been looked at so I was told to call Monday. I called Monday at noon and was told someone would call me back. I finally got a call back at 4pm Monday asking if I had recently gotten an oil change, which I said I had. The mechanic informed me the oil plug wasn't sealed correctly and asked me to take it back to whoever did the oil change. He also let me know there were other leaks in the engine and I needed new engine mounts. When I asked for the estimate for the above, he told me I wouldn't want to pay that much and I repeated that I'd like an estimate. He then told me it was too big of a job for him to take on during season. My boyfriend had to ask him twice more to just fix the oil plug for me and change the oil again. We finally picked the car up Tuesday afternoon and he still had to replace an oil stopper stick that I was apparently missing. This was the first time this part had been brought up, but fine. The oil change sensor was never reset and my car was lower on oil than when I brought it in so I still had to take it elsewhere to add oil. The mechanic recommended I take it to another person he knew who worked on Porsche's out of his house and I said absolutely not. Overall this was an absolute waste of money for my car to be there Friday am to Tuesday pm, be out money for a rental car I wouldn't have needed if proper communication was present, and still have to beg for a minor fix. I should have taken it to the dealership in the first place and put my money towards actual repairs instead of a wasted rental car and a lazy mechanic who didn't want to do any work on my car. read more

Highly recommended! Curtis and his guys installed an aftermarket AWE exhaust system on my Audi SQ5. It was quite the job, as the exhaust goes all the way up to the manifold in the newer models, so not easy like the old cat-back exhaust installs used to be. We took our Explorer in to have the engine checked at Noble. It was starting to stutter/miss upon acceleration. After looking over the car the owner called and told me it was the alternator and he already had one on order, and it would be here the next day. He even went as far as making comments about how he was 100% certain it was NOT the transmission, and said "thank god because that would cost you thousands" I trusted the shop owner when he said it was the alternator and not the transmission. The alternator was replaced and as soon as I left the shop, no change. The same stuttering was happening. I contacted the shop owner immediately and he started giving all kinds of excuses for why the stuttering was still happening. First, he stated, "you need to drive it for at least 100 miles so the system can reset" another excuse was that I was putting the wrong gas in the truck. He told me to take the car home and let the gas empty and put the cheapest 87 gas in it, he said that should fix it. He continued by saying When I use the correct gas it will not only fix the problem, but it will also save me money on gas. Lastly, then mentioned how he specializes in foreign cars and not Ford's so he wasn't certain what to do next. Perhaps that information would have been nice to know before he took the car into his shop. After speaking to me in circles for 20 minutes, we asked him for the code history on the vehicle, the owner admitted that he did not receive a code, and he also admitted he cleared all my history. We asked why was I told it was an alternator if you did not receive a code and he stated he was receiving some spikes in the voltage. Again, assuring us it was not the transmission and that I needed to drive it 100 miles for the car to reset and change the gas. To hear an owner make these types of excuses AFTER we paid our service bill was incredibly disheartening. Since Noble left us hanging out to dry, we took the car to another shop to have the engine checked and the diagnostics machine transmitted a transmission code for the truck immediately. I feel very taken by the owner of the shop. We spent a lot of money on a part that was NOT necessary. The shop does not do transmission work and should have been honest about it upfront. Especially, if there were ANY questions About it being a transmission issue. Thank you for making Christmas even harder for our family, with your greed. read more

My truck was being repaired for an AC problem however Jim and Curtis noticed fire damage that occurred 3 years ago when my truck was being repaired at another shop. For 10 weeks my truck was inoperable because of the damage that occurred 3 years ago. Curtis spent 10 weeks trying to repair the vehicle never asking for a dime. He knew exactly what occurred and how unfortunately he "awoke the problem" but it wasn't due to his repairs, simply as soon as he removed my dash to begin work my electrical system was fried because the wire harness was already damaged, any movement of those wires would immediately cause an electrical problem. My insurance investigated and determined it was exactly as Mr. Noble and Jim stated. Again , for 10 weeks he tried to fix the problem himself spending his own money to attempt to fix it. Truck ended up being a total loss due to the "neglect work" conducted 3 years ago by a shop in Boynton beach . Can't say enough good things about Nobles. Fair prices and definitely takes care of Veterans. Highly recommend you give him a call. 100% honest person. His son also helped trying to repair the vehicle , very respectful knowledge young man as well! read more

Still waiting to complete a review based upon how Curtis will resolve an issue that we are trying to settle regarding repairs he did not assess correctly nor complete as agreed. Curtis not only over committed and under delivered, but also did not finish the job. I've called him 4 times since Christmas and he has completely blown me off. Back Story. I have a 2002 Land Rover Discovery II that is a "beach car". The universal joint jailed and by chance a neighbor was taking a Audi to Noble to get the battery replaced. I tagged along and had Noble look at and replace my universal joint, and ironically, replace the battery. It was a $500 job, with $300 labor that was originally quoted at $200. I did not dispute it as Curtis made up a story about how hard it was to get the piece replaced... That was that and then I asked him to look at my Volvo 2004 XC70. He also indicated the valve cover was leaking oil (there was a minor drip) and that it needed to be replaced. I checked ROver enthusiast web site, learned that was common and was advised to tighten the heads. Curtis insisted no that it needed to have the value heads replaced and resealed. I put that off for another day. The Volvo repair was supposed to be the replacement or simple tightening of a front strut mount. The car has a spotless maintenance record from dealer only maintenance, Boynton Beach and Orloff Volvo/Rover in Chicago). Maintenance is thorough and annual. I have a detailed report from 2013 from Orloff detailing EXACTLY what maintenance and repair the car needed. I even got a second opinion from Oak Park Vovlo. The car was driven from Chicago to West Palm 5 times in 10 years. I sent him the report and discussed what the email outlined from the reports, and he quoted me $1500 for the maintenance (Front control arms, Rear Rotors, Rear Pads, Replace left fog light and Parking break pad). He also agreed to look at and repair the strut mount "while he was doing the other repairs". Parts $1100 and Labor $400. IN the process he indicated that I needed the sway bars replaced (That was not in either Volvo detailed inspection from the dealerships). I agreed as I was working first on trust and good faith. He ASSURED me that it was required and should be done while the other parts where being replaced. I agreed. We documented each step in the contract. I even took him for a ride so that he could hear the struct mount rattle. I looked that issue up on the Volvo support internet board (dealers, owners and mechanics use the board) and everyone agreed with the assessment, cause and proposed repair for the strut. Long story short, the car was not ready even though he committed to a date, and it was two weeks later that I got the car. When I picked up and paid for the car and took it home, I tried to engage the parking break on the car and it literally almost rolled backward out of my driveway. I had to go back and get that tightened. One week later, I drove over a train track, and of course, the struct mount rattled again, even more loudly. This was just before Christmas. Curtis claimed that things were all "tightened up" when we replaced the suspension parts and that he did not hear the noise when he drove the car. He agreed to address this after the holidays. I went up to Chicago and that is the last I have been able to speak to him. Four calls, 4 voice mail messages and email messages later and nothing. I will go to his business next week, with a Witness (the Mrs.) and we will have a conversation. I suggest you bring a witness to conversations with this man. And do expect very abnormal quirky behavior. Foul language and "F Bombs" and lots of babble about issues with his business and customers. Personally I felt sorry for him and wanted to help out re giving him the business, as I thought I was getting a good deal. Not so, and now the drama... To make the story all that more troublesome, the Mother of the neighbor is now having issue with her Audi. Same song and dance with her. He did repairs and had replaced her battery 3 times. Last year it was a windshield washer pump, and now it failed again. She is a widow on a fixed income. She is stressed. And to make the matter worse, and this may just be coincidence, but I now have uncomfortable suspicions, especially giving the stories I am hearing from the widow and her recurring problems with the Audi. Both of my vehicles now are having electrical issues. To be fair, they are older models, and Curtis was vocal about reminding me of that fact, but now the Volvo is having a "Alarm system fault" and the Land Rover is having a "ABS breaking system fault". So next step, face to face conversation with Curtis to see if he will make good on both what he assured me and the expectation that he set - verbally and in writing. Moral so far, pay the extra $25 an hour to go to a reputable dealer! I believe they even have camera's in their garage... read more

Couldn't be happier with the service I received today. I turn my own wrenches for a lot of the repairs and maintenance needs of my 4 vehicles, but sometimes you need the tools and experience that only a full service shop can provide. I had the AC compressor fail on my Jeep Cherokee and I had already replaced the compressor, accumulator, and orifice and then flushed the system. All I needed was a shop to replace a couple of small fittings then pull vacuum and recharge the system with R134A. Curtis had me in and out in a couple of hours for less than half what Pepboys and another independent shop had quoted me. I will continue to work with Curtis and Noble. read more

I've had very questionable experiences with Curtis Noble. Twice he has done repairs and did not fix the problem on my Jeep Grand Cherokee. One of the issues ended up with me having to replace my rear differential to the tune of $1,800.00. I previously paid Noble Servicenter to repair a very high rpm idle speed. After his service the problem persisted and he told me " you have to let the computer learn the adjustment." I should have known the guy was feeding me a line of BS. Ultimately I'm the one who is responsible for my cars problems but this guy charged me hundreds of dollars and didn't come close to fixing the problem. There are always dozens and dozens of used cars parked all over his facility and there is literally no place to park. He has something going on with used car dealers or turning around cars from the auction or some strange setup because the place is just crammed full of cars ALWAYS. Whatever his gig is I don't really care, I just know that it puts people like me on the very back burner with his business. Ive taken my car to him very early in the morning for basic repairs and not gotten it back for over two days. I'm notexagerrating. I was emphatic that I needed to hear from him in a timely manner so I could plan my business day. Never got a call. His standard line was "there is a Budget car rental next door if you need a car." No Curtis! I don't need a damn rental car, I need MY car. I will never use this guy again. Steer clear of this very unprofessional "mechanic." Two blocks east is a far superior automotive shop. Nobles service center was a God send today!! Our daughter was visiting Jupiter when her power steering light came on. My husband called to see if she could drop her car off thinking it would take awhile. We were told if she could stop by they could put it on the machine and maybe it's something minor. She was there within the hour and he named a few other things that may be going on and she agreed yes those things were going on. All she needed was a new battery!! My husband asked them to please take care of her that she was in there hands since he was no where near! They definitely took care of her! She said Dad you found an awesome place!! read more
