I am not a fan of the new ownership. The staff here are great. Rhegan and Amaya are always super helpful and professional. However, I have not had the same experience with the Longmont location ownership. I suffered an Aortic Dissection and spent almost 2 years in the hospital. During that time, I was charged for several months of service because we signed up for the Premier Membership. When I went in recently and tried to use my membership, I was told that it had been too long and that my membership had been cancelled. I lost several hundred dollars and want to warn others of the possibility that you may not get what you pay for at this location. I originally signed up for my membership at the Ft Collins location because we lived in Timnath at the time. However, I moved to Berthoud and had been enjoying services for a year at the Longmont location prior to my dissection. I have spoken to the ownership at both locations and they both have said the other location is responsible. Again, I believe it is very important that people understand what they are signing up for. I really could use the service as I was bedridden for a majority of my hospital stay. read more

Today was the SECOND TIME they couldn't find my reservation! The first was in December. I made an appt for a massage and they 'lost' the reservation. They happened to have a cancelation that day so fit me in. Today, I made a facial appointment for my daughter for a Valentine's Day surprise. I had an email confirmation, but when I showed up, they said they didn't have it, and there could have been issues with their computers. I even showed them a screen shot of the confirmation page. Only adding two stars because the two girls working the front desk were awesome and very friendly. I received the 30 min executive massage (all I have time for) because I have a knot in my shoulder. I asked for firm but ended up getting the softest pressure of my life. It honestly felt like she was teasing me everytime she touched my shoulder because she would just roll over the points I needed help with. Got a 3 month membership for Christmas. Every single time I scheduled a massage they had to move it due to staff issues. The manager offered me an extra month. What happened? You know it! You have to carve out enough time to sit in the Relaxation Room/Lounge. It's a peaceful area with many types of teas, a fountain, comfortable seating and soft lighting. I asked a manager/owner to contact me and haven't hear from them. To be honest, it might be for the best. The last time there was a mixup, it felt a little uncomfortable - like high pressure used car sales. I was a member for years and use to really like Spavia. It took a turn before Covid and has been in a steady decline since. I decided to cancel my membership for several reasons including dirty changing rooms, lockers that are not in good condition, scheduling mishaps, constant turn over, and more. I was able to cancel the membership but needed to deal with the rollovers. I signed up for a 80 minute hot stone. The hot stones were rough - like gritty sandpaper rough. I'm pretty sure the owner knew the rocks were rough and still failed to improve things. Thankfully they weren't used much during my hot stone massage, which makes me also upset that I really didn't get a hot stone massage (almost like the therapist wasn't trained in using them). I'm also not sure if the skin irritation was from the rough stones or the fragrance even though I stated unscented products on my form. I ended up with a migraine The cancellation process was a nightmare. I sent an email to the spa and received a reply back asking me to come in to do this. It would have been nice to know they were closing early that day. I showed up 10 minutes after the email was sent, about 2pm, and the staff were walking out the door. They were rather snotty about this too - like it was my fault they closed early after telling me to come by. This unhelpfulness is common. There is one woman there that is amazing and always been beyond helpful. It seems I won't be able to get my money back because even though everything was inferior, if you've already paid for it, such as the monthly membership, then you're just out of luck. Don't buy the skin care products - I paid $60 for something that gave me a rash and you can't return it. I'm thinking the zero return policy on products and services is a direct result of knowing things aren't up to snuff but if they refunded unhappy customers there's no way they would stay in business. read more

I had a 100 minute massage with Karen. It was different then what I'm used to. I could tell She really knew the body and took pride in finding areas that needed to be worked on. She worked it over like I hadn't ever experienced and talked to me about the science behind it which I appreciated. She was able to get rid of a strange pain I had been feeling on my right back shoulder. It's gone! I'm so excited to know her for treatment like this. Reghan at the front desk did a really great job of helping explain to me the different packages they offer there. She also very thoroughly answered all my questions. She is very knowledgeable of the services offered. I appreciate the patience she took to answer all my questions. She was also very friendly and accommodating to me when I first arrived. I have an upper left arm with appliance that cannot be rubbed hard and the massage therapist dis not read that and started to massage the area to firmly causing nerve pain. Going on 48 hours now and still having pain in that arm. She reprimanded me for not warning her. What's the point filling out the forms if you're not going to read them? read more

I signed up for a monthly membership and have had 4 mediocre massages. Today, I paid extra for a 90 min deep tissue and tried someone named Carrie. I have had 70+ massages in my life and this was definitely the worst. She barely touched me - the pressure would have been considered light even for a Swedish massage. She spent 20 minutes just lighting touching my feet. It was infuriating. She even started the massage asking what kind of pressure I wanted. I sort of stared at her blankly and said, "deep." When she came back after I was undressed and on the table, she said, "Oh yeah, this is deep tissue." She didn't even know what my appointment was for. Then, when I checked out I cancelled my membership and the receptionist asked why. When I told her I just had a bad massage she just said, "Okay, thanks. I have to put a reason in the system." Not even an, "I'm sorry about that." THEN she charges me $129 when I have a membership and should have only charged me the $30 price difference. She didn't tell me how much she put on my card when she ran it, so I didn't realize it until I saw them email when I left. Then when I called she tried to argue with me about how that's the price of my service. This is actually the second time the receptionist has charged me the wrong price. I was gifted a $200 certificate from my sisters for my birthday. I made an appointment to get a facial. So far so good. Had my facial done and went to the front desk to have it paid by my certificate. Added $45 as my tip for the service done. About 40%? because it's the Holidays and I wanted to help the girl out. I then asked out of the blue because of the way the woman was checking me out,"She does get this tip, right?" Answer, "we only take a small percentage." "What?!?!" How much of a percentage..........she didn't know. Ha ha ha. If she's saying it's only a small percentage how does she not know?! Why would Spavia take ANY percentage of a tip I leave the woman that did the service? I paid for the service to Spavia and I feel they have no right to take what I leave the woman that did the service. The desks answer? "Well you should've brought cash to pay for the tip." Do I think even if I had handed over cash for the woman that did the service that she would have received it? They would've pocketed some of the cash for Spavia! The absolute WORST facial ever! Jamella the "esthetician" got soap, then oil in my eyes, lip ointment in my mouth, cleanser in my mouth. She had no idea how to go slow and thoughtfully to keep my eyes safe. At one point I ask for a towel or tissue to wipe my eyes she told me "yeah in a minute" my eye is burning and she too her sweet time. She kept plugging my nose and I couldn't breathe because there was product all over my mouth. I pointed this out as well she never said she would be more careful or sorry for making me uncomfortable She was supposed to have given a neck and hand massage while a mask was on my face. Nope nothing. She was rude and didn't seem to give a shit about my experience. The spa is small no steam room no sauna one shower. The owner did call me and comped the facial but I had to throw away my contacts because they were covered in oil. read more

I signed up for a monthly membership but each time I went in there was someone different, some were good, some not. There was constant turnover. The real problem was with facials. The esthetician's were ok but two times in a row they had issues with their hands and had to wear gloves. Having a facial by someone wearing latex gloves just doesn't work. The third time this happened I left and canceled my membership. The other issue was the dressing area always seems dirty. There were generally three people up front but the back consistently had overflowing trash and seemed unclean. Just can't recommend Spa Via. read more

I made an online reservation for a massage with spavia Longmont. It showed that I had a confirmed reservation. I went back later and saw that nothing had been reserved. I called spavia only to be put on hold for 10 minutes waiting for them to come online. As they tried to work through the issue it was clear that they really didn't have any idea where my reservation was though my account had been created (which I did at the same time as the reservation). The service was unfriendly and basically unhelpful. The online request I made was for a massage, and they came back and said that the person selected would only do facials. I went yesterday for the first time and got their signature massage as a gift for my birthday. The massage was good, however the overall cleanliness of the spa- Not okay! The fact that they had three people standing around at the front desk, you would think their facility would be very clean...but it's not! Unless you think finding another woman's dirty underwear in one of the only two changing rooms and a HUGE clump of someone's hair in the only shower acceptable, I would say try another spa! The "Women's Retreat" is nice, but tiny and again after experiencing such filth in the changing rooms and shower, I couldn't even enjoy it. Oh, and there were spiderwebs hanging from the ceiling above the shower... Super relaxing! NOT. I'm so disappointed and upset that my loved one spent so much money here for my birthday and that was my experience. read more

Mandy is the best esthician. Her facials are amazing. My skin looms amazing! The extractions were virtually painless and not a single blackhead left. I xame back the next day for some waxing. She put me at ease and explained the different kind of waxes she was using. She got every single hair! I have had waxes where I have had to fixes the mussed spots. Not with Mandy! My experience with Spavia has been absolutely amazing. As a former Massage Envy member the experience has been night and day better. The people at the front desk are friendly and they don't sell the membership so hard you feel like you are pressured into it. BUT their membership is so much better than Massage Envy only 3 month commitment and MUCH better prices and services. Also, Maggie is incredible. I have done 3 facials with her and I cannot say enough good things about her. My skin has gotten better and she recommends the best treatments. Worst owner and front desk staff. Prepare for them to lie to you and take your money. After my treatment, I was greeted with "I thought I was done with you" upon check out. I wouldn't call that good service or any way to speak to your guest. I was also told they record your conversation when you book with them. I have been to other Spavia's before and they told me they do not record your conversations. They have signs up that say hassle free cancellations. My cancellation was anything but hassle free. I actually cancelled my subscription because I have multiple sclerosis and was in so much pain that once a month treatments weren't enough. They ended up taking my money for two additional months and won't let me use the credits read more

But almost EVERY time I scheduled appointments they would call to try to reschedule everything especially if you want multiple treatments in one visit. Hi enjoyed a 60 minutes facial, not the best of my life but professional and relaxing enough. The facility is welcoming, elegant, clean. You can really shut the world outside and just focus on yourself. The staff is very kind and puts you at easy. Overall a very good experience. I used a $40 gift card so I didn't have to pay the full amount for the service that is $99: I think it is too expensive for my pocket! Plus I come from Italy where you can get the same service for less money so I struggle here! Anyway I would recommend this place to those who can afford it! read more

This is the worst Spavia experience that I've ever had. Changing room is tiny, spa layout is less than desirable, massage was horrible (cold hands and cold lotion) with lightest touch ever.
