I love Vincent! He's very intuitive and professional. He will do deep tissue if that's what your appointment is for, but he's aware of how you feel and will back off if he senses you're tensing up. Even if you request no talking, he checks in to make sure you're getting the massage you want. I bought a membership years ago, cancelled it after a few meh massages, and after two massages from Vincent I signed up for another membership. I go once a month now. Vincent is a great masseur. Garbage policies, terrible service, no compromising, even during covid. This place sucks. Don't buy a membership. They say cancel anytime, but it requires a form you have to fill, can't do it over the phone. Then once you cancel they charge you one more time. From there, you only have 30 days to the services you've paid for. We were under the impression it was a 3 month subscription. Turns out they've been charging us every month for over a year. My fault for not checking my bank account every month. Now that we have cancelled we have to use 9 services in 30 days. FYI we're still in a pandemic. Awesome time to expose yourself to someone else who has to touch your face and/or body to provide their service. This place is on par with the current state of the world. I got a 60 minute massage, and my mom had the 60 minute facial. We arrived 20 minutes early but my mom was still 10 minutes late for the facial because the forms we had to fill out on a tablet were ridiculously long. The front desk staff member talked very fast, and I had to explain things to my mom afterwards because she didn't catch everything. She said the facial was relaxing but was cut 10 minutes short on the end. So basically, she received a 40 minute facial instead of 60. My massage was decent. Not the best I've had. This is a typical chain massage place, and they'll try to get you to sign up for the membership. I've definitely had better, hence the 3 stars. Make the drive to Blackhawk and go to Ara at the Ameristar. MUCH better and worth the extra cost. read more

Jennifer here at the Bradburn location is fantastic- funny and informative - she really listens... and tries to explain the physiological effects of why certain muscle groups are strained and she gives good tips on how to relax and stretch. I really enjoyed my massage and I will be back to this location as it is closer to my home than the orchard location. The facility is the same as the one at the orchard- love the relaxation room and the tea selection and the mints. It's a good way to relax! Great spa!!!! I had a great massage from Brit. But the esthetician Bri clearly didn't want to be there and was AWFUL and ended up canceling my appointment because she just didn't want to be there. I could not love this Spa more - it's just exactly what Bradburn needed in this area; a lush, restorative Spa with skilled therapists and a calming atmosphere. I've had a wax, a facial and a couple of massages here and each time it has been just the thing to unwind and escape. Katie is my therapist and she does great work: her massage is firm but not too rough, and I feel like jelly when I climb down from the table. I highly recommend her! It's nice that they have all my preferences saved like that I don't like to talk, and that I like a warm table. I love that this spa changed to expensive Fiji lotions for the massage itself; it adds an extra layer of luxury without a change in cost...that lotion is amazing! They have Groupons frequently for new people, but in my opinion the memberships are the way to go. They are literally the cost of getting a Starbucks every week and I don't know about you but I would much rather have a massage. All in all, this spa offers what I believe is one of life's necessities - an affordable way to heal and reset in the suburbs. read more

First off let me start by saying that Stephanie is amazing!!! The massage I got from her is one of the best I've had in a long time. Unfortunately, my spa experience was ruined by the front staff! I was told on the phone when making my appointment that my massage would be $99. When I asked why it wasn't the $59 introductory first time rate she said that was only good Monday - Thursday, so I schedule for a Monday.... only to be charged $99 when I checked out!! Apparently the deep tissue is considered "premier". It would have been nice to have been informed that when I made the appointment (and when I was confirming how much it cost). I did get $20 off for being first time (but still.... I don't like being surprised by a higher bill when I check our!!). I absolutely would have rescheduled with Stephanie, but when an incompetent staff is the last thing you experience at a place of service it leaves a bad taste in your mouth. I'm so disappointed in Spavia today! I have been a member for over a year, getting my lashes done every couple weeks, so paying more then the monthly membership fee because I was going more than once a month. Today I woke up with the flu and called to ask if they would work with me rescheduling my appointment for today. This is out of respect of spreading what I have. The girl that called me back was VERY rude, would not work with me and charged me for missing the appointment. I have NEVER missed an appointment in the past. I'm so frustrated and will never recommend this place in the future. You can count on my membership definitely being cancelled and never being reinstated. I bought a Groupon for a signature facial and was able to book an appointment for the same day. The spa was very clean, well decorated, and a nice calming atmosphere. I was shown the changing area, given a robe, offered tea and/or water, and was able to use a warm neck wrap while waiting for my esthetician. I was welcomed by a young woman named Julianna who was very polite, professional, and easy to talk to. The whole experience was relaxing with calming music, explanation of products used, and no forced conversation. This was hands down the best facial I have ever received.. and I've had plenty of services throughout colorado. Julianna applied several masks to help problem areas, extracted just about everything from my face, gave a wonderful shoulder/neck/arm massage with hot stones, and greeted me with water when I was done. The entire experience was above all expectations, the only reason I deducted a star is because the price is quite expensive regularly ($99). It was a quality service, well worth the money I spent, but I likely won't return for a full price facial unfortunately. read more

Howdy everyone! Over-all, there are some really nice people here but the company has some very strict policies that don't let them compromise a little. I was supposed to get a 1-hour massage today at Spavia Bradburn thanks to a gift-certificate from my girlfriend. Unfortunately, I got the times mixed up and I just found out that I've partially missed my appointment. I talked to the front desk person, Marlene, and I offered to accept whatever was left of my appointment time (which would've been just under 40 minutes) while still paying my scheduled therapist, Michelle, for her full hour. Marlene said she couldn't allow it and cited a Spavia policy. Unfortunately, Marlene says Spavia will charge my giftcard a 50% cancellation fee and are requiring me to reschedule. Ouch. I thought I had offered a reasonable compromise. I've kindly asked for a cash refund of the remaining 50% balance instead of having to reschedule. If they don't refund me the balance, I'll just forget about it because I would just feel a little awkward from here on out. Gosh, I hope this helps. :-) -Angel P.S. My girlfriend says she never got a confirmation voicemail or phone call from Spavia which Marlene tells me is something they're supposed to do every evening prior to anyone's appointment. Had a facial which was nothing more that putting a mask on and then a hand massage that you could barely feel with a 20 second facial massage, then cream on my face, Oh and mist in my face which was ok. No look at my skin under lights. Didn't even complete the 50 minutes. All for 89 dollars. NO THANK YOU ever again. Had been to Orchard and it was great and lasted 60 minutes-but this was several years ago. Very disappointing, expecialy since there are so many massage/facial places to compete. Although Tracy was awesome. The front desk customer service isn't as pleasing. I went to my appointment and I had my 13 year old with me. I've always been able to take her in with me but the last time I went to my appointment they weren't allowing me to go in because i had her there. I made my appointment but because she was with me they said that children weren't allowed. She was never disruptive and she always stayed to the side but they said that absolutely no kids allowed. But there weren't any signs or anything in writing stating that. It really bothered me. Especially because she's 13 and that's a potential customer. I have been going there for years and was a reliable customer and they treated me like an invaluable customer. I haven't been back since that incident. I had my first massage there on Sunday and Rucker was great! The atmosphere is definitely spa like which is nice compared to others where there is no place to sit back and relax before treatment. Like many reviewers I do think it is overpriced sans membership and that could keep me from coming back. I had a spafinder gift card which is why I went but they do not give you the intro price when you use a gift card so that cost them one star and the overall high price cost them another. Spavia is a really nice place. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. I was greeted, filled out paper work and was quickly swept away to the back retreat. I was given a robe, sandals and nice hot neck wrap to start my relaxation package. I helped myself to some hot tea, there were many selection, including some decaf options. Less then 5 minutes in the retreat area my esthetician came in, introduced her self and we began my 50 minute facial. It was great, the products used were nice and it included a neck and arm massage. After my facial, the esthetician escorted me back to the retreat to wait for my massage therapist. Wow, is all I can say, the therapist actually listed to what I wanted. The pressure was spot on and she focused on the areas we discussed. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. All in all, the salon was clean, quiet and the staff was friendly. They didn't give me any hassle when I mentioned I had a Groupon when booking my appointment. read more

I went in for a massage and it didn't last the full time. I didn't realize until I was walking out after getting dressed and looked at my cell phone. While I was in the massage the male therapist told me to move my hair so he could massage my neck "Ahhh, a little help here." The massage was not done well at all, almost like he did not know what he was doing. Unfortunately I went on my birthday to try and relax, but no such luck. To make matters worse I contacted the Spavia and spoke to a lady. I asked for them to comp me a massage and she said she would have to ask her manager. I haven't ever heard back from her. Just had my first natural eyelash extension today and love it. My esthetician was fantastic! My issues are with the support staff: I wasn't given very good directions by the person who made my appointment, even though I was given a laundry list of charges if I was late or cancelled and a credit card was required at the time of appointment, in case I did either of those? When I walked into the spa, the odor was NOT that of a spa, one of the young ladies at the front desk obviously doesn't use deodorant and the lobby smelled like BO!! Not a good first impression, burn a candle or something....additionally, the granite benches in the lobby were uncomfortable and certainly didn't shout relaxation! read more

I don't write a review unless it's either really good or really bad. Unfortunately, in this case it's the latter. I am going to give the details on why I have to give the bad review. I had an appointment scheduled for my wife for her birthday. Due to unseen circumstances, I was taken to the emergency room, my wife was forced to reschedule her appointment. She called to reschedule but all she got was a response that she would be charged $89, for the inconvenience fee. I, of course, feeling that it was my fault that she had to reschedule, called to try to explain and see if there was anything that they could do. The receptionist said that the manager was not in but she would be in on Monday and maybe she would be able to help me. She told me that she would call me on Monday and let me know if there was anything they could do. I called back back on Wednesday because I still had not heard from anyone and was told that I would hear back for sure from the manager the following day being Thursday because the owner would be in as well. He I sit 2 months later without as much as a phone call telling me they wish they could help me. I understand that things come up and people get busy but unfortunately they do not understand this concept and seem to think it's okay to charge $89 for a reschedule fee. It is just a way to gouge people and take advantage of unfortunate situations. I wish I could charge them $89 each time they did not call me when they said that they were going to. I understand charging a fee for not making your appointment like a doctors office, but even they only charge like $20. I don't think their time is more important than the time of a doctor. read more

Visited for an 80 minute massage. Requested a WOMAN, upon massage appointment (after waiting 2 weeks) a MAN came to get me from the waiting room. He played the wrong music, AND massaged me with the wrong scent-which made my eyes very uncomfortable. I would have left when the man showed up however I was very much so in need of the massage. So, I with-stood my nervousness. Couldn't relax for about 25minutes into the massage- if really ever. Massage was very average. Long story short I was called by the GM Brandi whom only offered that if I purchased another $79.00 treatment that they would upgrade my treatment. I was shocked and graciously declined the un-fair offer. She then informed me that she would call me back, that was Tuesday and today is Friday and I still haven't heard anything back. Try somewhere else, maybe they will care more about their clients. read more

Frequented the orchard location and always impressed. This location however.. lets start with the appointment confirmation, never received one. I personally called to confirm my appointment, I showed up 30 minutes before appointment for relaxation time. I spent an additional 20 minutes in the waiting room and no one came to get me. I had to go to the desk in my robe and slippers to ask what happened. They checked my appointment time and said I had gotten bumped last minute, would have been nice if someone told me. I go back to the relaxation room to wait and when she finally came to get me I had waited an additional 35 past my original appointment time. When I actually got the massage it was okay and the lady cut my appointment short despite me being bumped. I told the front desk and upper management and no one seemed to care. They wanted me to pay for another massage and they would upgrade. No thanks I don't need to spend more money for poor quality and rude staff. read more

Julianna was great! She made me feel comfortable and welcomed! I've always enjoyed my experiences with Spavia for years! The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because the day before I had an appointment scheduled and I completely forgot to call when I had a family emergency come up and I missed my appointment time. I had to be charged for 50% of my service that I was scheduled for. I know about the policy for cancellations but a one time forgiveness would've been appreciated. I could see if it was a habit, but this was the first time I have ever missed or cancelled an appointment. I guess I should just be grateful that it was just for a wax and not for a more expensive service! Other than that my experiences have been great! read more
