The place was clean (including the tables, floors, and everything I usually side-eye). Burger was on point -- hot, juicy, no nonsense. The salad was fresh, which already puts this location ahead of expectations. Beer came in large glasses and was super cold, exactly how beer is supposed to be when you've been driving too long. Is it fine dining? No. Is it pretending to be something it's not? Also no. It's Applebee's doing Applebee's very well. Not much else to ask for -- and sometimes that's the highest compliment.
