This dish was amazing - so many flavors that popped in my mouth. Truly divine

The food was outstanding. The service by Renae also was over the top. We will definitely be back. The $5 margaritas were a plus too

We love La Cabaña. Friendly service, lots of food options to choose from. Yummy margaritas & fried ice cream!

    Churros! Crispy and warm

This place is under new management and is totally turned around. My job takes me out to Olean once a year and I eat here when I come. The last few times I chose other places because the service was always a bit slow. Well I am glad I tried it again. Carlos was quick to greet me at the door, so friendly and helpful too. My food came out quickly and plated beautifully (see pics). While I was dining, a party of 10 came in. They had not called ahead but Carlos was not stressed at all. He seated them and took everyone's order giving them no pressure to decide quickly. It looked like it was just Carlos and one other server, then kitchen staff. They handled me, the party of 10 and to go orders without any problem at all. The selection they have is good for vegetarians, meat lovers, kids etc. The dessert I ordered (churros and coffee) was plated beautifully as well. There is paid (?) parking on the street right in front of the restaurant but also parking in the neighborhood for free just a short walk away. There is plenty of seating for large parties as well as more intimate seating in booths. The place is clean and inviting, and the music is not too loud to allow to conversation. I can't wait to go back.

The food here is delicious. There is no better Mexican food anywhere in NY. Hawaiian fajitas are my favorite. You will love this place.

Mexican Food. Great variety. English speaking waitresses. Taco Tuesday is a great night. Not allergies friendly.

The waitress was super patient and friendly with us as it was our first time here. She recommended the street tacos - which we ordered. The street tacos were tasty. Got the al pastor and the carnitas. The order came with 4 tacos in total some rice and some beans. Absolutely loved the tacos! Also ordered the street corn and that was okay. I don't think it's worth the $7. Overall the food and service was excellent. It was busy during dinner hours. But we were seated right away and was able to order right away as well. Wouldn't mind coming back if in the area again.

First time there and my family can tell you I'm a picky ol bastard!!! I like to judge Mexican…read morerestaurants by their refried beans. If they can't make beans, nothing else will be good either!!! The beans here were freaking Amazing and great porky (lard) flavor, just needed more of them. We had a party of 6 with 2 children and all food, drinks and service was excellent. Comfortable setting and although it seemed like very limited staff for a full house, they worked their butts off and got it done efficiently. Carnitas were some of the best juicy, crispy, porky goodness I've had. The beer was cold too !!! Thanks and we WILL be back!!!

Work in the area left me very hungry at about 3pm, when I decided to stop at Los Agaves. "A quick…read moretaco will do it!". Au contraire. Instead, a "leisurely" 40 minutes refueling body and spirit. I arrived dehydrated and a little dizzy. A small table, and an attentive waiter bustled over with chips and salsa (three types) and asked about a beverage. "Just water." He made that happen in less than a minute, and I placed a quick order of 2 tacos. Don't gringo out here. Soft flour is NOT what you want. What you do want is the double corn tortillas, made fresh. At first, I selected beef, but when asked about ground or steak, I rethought and went with the pork. Carnitas is a wise choice here. As I waited, I heard another customer exclaim that the chicken today was the best he had ever had there, and he has been there many times. And don't fill up on the chips. Not that they aren't good, for they are. The salsas are homemade and delicious. But you don't want to be too full for your lunch. This is not a place where you will receive a plate the size of a small turkey platter. It looks human scale, with tacos in holders nestled next to rice and beans. The tacos were perfect. But it was the beans that blew me away. (I am a bean freak - love them) Not a pale beige smear, not covered within an inch of its life with cheese. No sour cream in sight. Just honest beans, cooked and seasoned to perfection. Not greasy, without that oily mouth feel. I asked the waiter, who I believe was one of the owners. "They taste a little different when my partner does the beans. But we do them here." We even talked about pintos vs. black beans. One taco would have been adequate, two was a luxury. And he kept filling the water glass, so that I left hydrated, ready to tackle the rest of my work day, and with a kind view of the world

We tried this place again. I will say that the place is now a full blown restaurant with a bar…read more But the enchilada sauce they now use is not the same as the last time. Still good place and still recommend
