My first experience with Sparks Computerized Car Care has been nothing short of exceptional. From the communication to the quality of work, their honesty and family‑oriented approach truly stand out. Julie is incredible -- she makes you feel like you've known each other for years. James, who diagnosed the car, was detailed, thorough, and highly informative. Although the issue has not yet been fully resolved due to the unique and challenging electrical problems, I will absolutely be a returning customer. I highly recommend this down‑to‑earth, genuinely honest shop. It's the most trustworthy mechanic experience I've ever had, and they outperform any dealership in service, affordability, and integrity. read more

I recently took my 2018 Kia Soul in to Sparks for a 100000 mile service based on reviews and a recommendation from a friend. I drive Uber and Lyft so I wanted it gone thru completely. It was a bit $$ painful but I feel they were honest and fair. I will continue to take my car to them from now on. It is my source of income and I need to be sure it is properly maintained..... read more

This is a great place to bring your car. I never feel that I've been overcharged and they always seem to do a little extra and don't charge you for it.. they are very professional and I will always keep bringing my car back to Sparks! read more

I had an A/C problem that had previously been diagnosed but not repaired. I was worked into the their schedule the first thing the next morning after speaking with them in person. The customer representative made certain that I understood that they would be doing their own assessment. I had considered that a good idea before arriving at Sparks. I did not want to misdirect the mechanics as to the cause of the problem. I was quoted and approximate price and advised what was to be done and what might be some additional costs. The work was completed in a timely manner as I needed my vehicle for an appointment out of town the next day. The customer representative is very knowledgeable of the workings of an automobile and the process the technical staff follow. I was please with the results and the expense was well with in the original estimate. read more

Sparks Computerized Car Care - Kind of notes I took - Auto Repair Near Me - Bradenton, Florida

I brought my wife's car in to have a headlight bulb replaced and when they did they told me I needed a clip that they would order. The bulb went out in two weeks and when I return then they said I needed a whole new assembly for $1150 After just paying them $340 for that bulb. I believe they should have told me about needing the whole assembly the first time I went in. I was under the assumption that they knew what they were doing but I guess I'm wrong. I would not recommend them to anybody. read more

Been coming here for regular oil changes/maintenance for around a year and a half, almost 2 years. I am very skeptical about auto shops as I have been burned many times in the past. I cannot recommend this place enough. Very fair prices, thorough work. They've helped me with big issues in a pinch. The owner is also always reaching out to make sure my car is still running well, which is very much appreciated. read more

A total joke of a shop gave me a quote of an hours shop time ($149) for literally 4 min to reprogram a dash cluster, the Ford dealer wanted $140 and they're known for being overpriced, i guess Sparks wanted that title. read more

I have been going to Sparks for few years and only regret is I wish I had known about them YEARS ago! I feel confident and trust them 100% on my vehicles and SPARKS IS the only place I will go for Auto Services. Can't say enough good! Thank YOU SPARKS! read more

I am writing this review today as a local business owner , ALD LIMO. I have had a fleet account with 10 vehicles for almost 1.5 years. I have spent thousands of dollars at this shop over the past 18 months. Today I had one of my drivers come in for a repair of a fog light after the repair was done I received an email with a 467.00 charge. Once receiving this email I called the owner of the shop * patrick** to get an explanation why there was a repair done over 100.00 without my authorization ( terms of my agreement with this shop stipulate that over 100$ amount repairs have to be authorized ) . Owner replied " I do not need your fucking authorization once your car is in my shop". I found this very disrespectful and upsetting that I was treated this way after spending money at his repair shop for 18 months. Now as a well respected business owner in Sarasota and Bradenton am going to make it a personal priority for all potential clients to his shop to know what type of business owner he is rude, obnoxious, liar. I am also going to reach out to my 10,000 clients in bradenton by email to inform them to keep away from his shop read more

I needed my ac fixed and was scared of what awaited me! They found it to be a very small problem, fixed and out the door in a couple of hours and total price was under 150.00!!!!!!!!! He could have easy added a few hundred on as I would have had no clue. I feel like I can trust this guy. Isn't that what we all want in a mechanic? read more

Ive been going to Sparks since I moved here 4 years ago. Very competitive prices and have never been over sold on something I didn't need. This goes back a while, but disappointing. I went in for a engine miss (1997 Dakota, 2.5)..After the fee for looking at it (that's ok), they said it need plugs, wires, a tune up. For $360.00. So, i went to Autozone, they ran the codes for free. Front Oxygen sensor. I put it on and it ran great. To Sparks, i would have been HAPPY to pay you to do this. You would think for the fee for looking a it, you would run the codes. read more

Been using Sparks for years. Patrick & crew always do a good job for me. I like their 2 year guarantee on their repairs and the mechanics are competent so I can rest easy the job will be done well. Maybe there are cheaper places around, but none better. Very professional. read more

I have used Sparks for 12 years for general maintenance and repairs. My experience with Sparks has been great in that I trust their personnel to treat me fairly taking care of my car. Over the years my car has had minor/major repairs which have been discussed with me prior to fixing, informing me of the severity of each situation and what needed repairing immediately or could wait. I trust Sparks to take care of my car and deal fairly with me. read more

Went here for some engine work and the mechanic who worked on my car broke the inside window roller-upper (what is that thing called?!). The father-owner of the shop was a great guy. His son, however, is a raving a**hole. He denied his mechanic broke my window thing and then he said he'd fix it himself after stomping around like an elephant for a while. He then disappeared in the shop with my car and long story short, my car started to have transmission problems shortly thereafter. There is no doubt in my mind that this person purposely did something damaging to my car because his behavior in the shop was really off the wall. He insults customers and doesn't seem interested in repeat business. It is too bad because the location is good (close to the intersection of Cortez/US41 by Lowe's) but the guy is a lunatic. It is too bad the dad was retiring. That guy knew how to do business and treat a customer. read more
