They didn't dust surfaces, or they missed corners and were just generally not very thorough. Not Mariama! She and her partner are fast but also detail-oriented and very careful. I'm always so happy and relieved after they leave and I have a sparklingly clean house. They're also super nice, flexible, and pretty affordable. Sometimes it can be hard to have strangers in your house, even if they're providing a hugely appreciated service, but Mariama and her partner are wonderful people and just a joy to have around. I trust them both implicitly. So lucky we found them!!

The ladies who did the work were kind, thorough, efficient, and extremely trustworthy. An important issue for me is non-toxic/fragrance-free cleaning products, and that requirement was observed with no problem whatsoever. I also want to mention that Soluma generously donates services to the wonderful Cleaning For A Reason program for people who are going through cancer treatment. They also offer discounted cleaning services to those who can participate in a flex schedule. I initially spoke with the owner who was lovely and very professional, and super-organized as far as scheduling etc. Highly recommended!

The kitchen counters still felt gritty and had dirt in the corners, the microwave and front of the fridge/freezer still had visible spills and splatters, and the mantel and fireplace tile surround were still gritty. The wood floors and stairs didn't look wet-mopped and there was a noticeable spill on one of the stairs that I was able to remove with a wet-wipe. The kitchen baseboards under the cabinets were definitely missed as they were caked in dried splashes and dust. The upstairs shower walls also still had areas of grey residue and soap scum. I would have paid more to ensure a higher level of detail was done instead of me having to go back for additional cleaning touch-ups.

They weren't available in my timeline so I had another team come out and perform a deep cleaning. However, I did ask Hawa to send a house keeper for weekly maintenance 2 days after the deep cleaning wasdone by other team. They came at 12.45pm and left at 6.30pm. And then proceeded to charge us $655 - that's a rate of $60 per person (2 people) per hour. That is unbelievable. And they said it's because deep cleaning was required - which is false because I had literally just got deep cleaning done. When I asked her to tell me how she got to that rate, she said "it is what it is". In short, crooks. I will certainly NOT be using their service, no thank you. And buyer beware. Oh and they didn't even take the trash out...

I will have to say this review is solely on the communication, as I was not able to receive their…read moreservices. First, she was super responsive and answered all the questions I had prior to booking a time and date for a regular clean. Then, I was expecting her to confirm prior to the day of the clean, if our appointment was still set. She didn't, but I reached out to her to confirm. She set the time for 8 am. The day of, I woke up extra early to put some things away so it's out of their way to clean so that it's ready by 8 am. 8 am came and went and she was still not here. I wasn't too upset about it but it was a little bothersome as I have my 3 yo and 6 mo with me. At 08:11 she informs me her assistant is bringing their 4 yo child. If I didn't have kids I don't know how I would have felt about this, but since I have my 3 yo, I was ok with it since he is friendly and loves to play. (At this point in my head I was like, shouldn't you discuss that with your assistant atleast the day before? It just seemed so unorganized) At 0826 she tells me that the little girl has a "flu" and isn't able to go to daycare, but will be wearing a mask. At this point, I quickly became uncomfortable as I can't afford to have my babies sick as we are also leaving on a trip the next day. I told her that and asked her if that means we are cancelling. She said yes. Later, I then asked if we can reschedule and if she would offer a discount since it was last minute cancellation- let alone the day of and passed the appointment time. She ignored me for hours and said she can't cause she wouldn't offer a discount. I said that's fine, I'm okay with the original price of $225. And I said it was just a courtesy question if it's something she would offer for the inconvenience. THEN she tells me *I* was the one that canceled. When in fact she was or we both agreed upon it. But either way I don't think it's professional to bring a sick child over to someone else's house, who has little kids. But the fact of the matter is, I was still willing to pay the original price even if there wasn't a discount. But instead of rescheduling the clean with me, she continues the conversation that I was the one that canceled. I had to show her the screen shot of our convo to show that she cancelled. But again, how is that helpful or productive? Don't blame your client, when your client is still willing to give you business after everything. Anyway, I'm sure the cleaning is exceptional based on the reviews. And I'm bummed that it was a fail for me.
