Possibly the worst company I've dealt with. I was happy with PureFlo and then they got bought by these guys. They leave my water bottles on the driveway understand direct sunlight and didn't pickup the old bottles. They then would tell me they works in another date, didn't, but had no reason. Some of their customer service reps are nice but some are terribly rude. There website is broken and they can't seem to figure out how many bottles to deliver. It's clear they have a serious leadership problem but also a semi monopoly. I'd rather pickup my own bottles than deal with them. read more

I just cancelled service. Delivery and costco pricing pricing are OK. To me it's just not worth paying $22.00 vs. $ 5.00 per month if I refill myself. Also, the company charges 10.00 monthly late fees. No thanks. Update: Just finished paying collection agency for a bill sent to me after I cancelled service and was told everything was had been payed. I payed the collection agency to avoid credit score reporting. I will follow up with a complaint through Costco. read more

I am SO SAD Pure Flo has changed over to Sparkletts. Their service since has been HORRIBLE!!! In the 5 years that I was a customer, I never had an issue. Since the change, I haven't had water. Every time I call to find out where my water is NO ONE can give me a clear answer. It's been 3 phone calls, speaking to 6 different people, and 2 emails to the route manager -- STILL NO WATER!! I ended up cancelling my service today since I wasn't getting water anyway. They had the nerve to tell me I had an outstanding balance that I paid a month ago and has been taken out of my bank account. Bye bye Pure Flo. Sparkletts just lost a loyal customer of yours! I would leave zero stars if I could. The office that I manage always had Pure Flo water delivery. Sparkletts took over and the service has been beyond terrible. After multiple calls to an out of state call center, promises made for delivery during our business hours nothing happened for over a week. I was told I would get a call when delivery would take place, nope, didn't happen I asked to speak to a supervisor and after being on hold for 15 mins, I hung up. We are finally going with Palomar Water, I'm sure this local company will measure up, love doing business locally. read more

I was a Pureflo customer for 5 years and then they were bought out by the giant Sparkletts corporation. I had done a lot of research on the quality and pureness of Pureflo water and was happy with the results. It was a truly good water and tasted great. Sparkletts claimed in a letter that the water would still be the same fine Pureflo water but it's not. It's crappy Sparkletts water and they were hoping the Pureflo customers wouldn't notice. I noticed. Here's something else I noticed...an extra $8.14 cents charge on my invoice: a $3.00 "invoice charge" and a $5.14 "energy surcharge". Add that together with their phone center from hell and you've got an ex-Sparkletts customer. I'll be shopping for a new water company. read more

Not sure where to start with this scary "business". I originally signed up for Sparkelttes through Costco. That was over a year ago now. Since then they have never delivered the correct amount of water bottles. Not once. The last TWO deliveries were "skipped" which I later found out someone named John had gone into surgery who was my delivery driver... which is great and all except that we were without water and no one notified us until the day of delivery which I then got an email saying our delivery was skipped. I have been waiting for a call from the manager and have sent direct messages to see what the deal is with this company to no response. I have just signed up for READY FRESH water delivery and I cannot believe I waited so long to do so they run their business and do their job they are great! read more

I know that their low prices make it seem like it's a good idea, but do not be fooled. When you are on hold with this company, they claim that superior customer service is their goal. In reality, they cannot provide superior customer service. Rather than working with the customer to resolve an issue, they have a, "Sorry, can't help you" attitude. I spent well over an hour on the phone with them trying to resolve an issue. I provided multiple examples of how they can make it work, but they still refused to do the right thing. They do not have a can-do attitude. They play the victim mindset. If you ever have an issue with your water delivery, be prepared for a problem. DO NOT GO WITH SPARKLETTS. This has been the WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH, they are scammers and don't practice good business ethics, there are so many better water services you are better off with, this company DOES NOT care about their customers. Sparkletts has the worst Customer Service ever. The customer service representatives are rude and they never know anything. You can never get a clear answer as to why your water was not delivered. Another issue I have is that whenever I have asked to speak with a manager I'm told that there are no managers there and one would have to call me back. When they did transfer me to a person who was supposedly a manager I asked her her title and verbatim she said "I'm a member of the leadership team". I am now being transferred to the glitch specialist. History: Cancelled my service and scheduled pick up for June 8, paid the BALANCE of my bill by phone as suggested by customer service. Bottles and machines picked up - we moved. I am due a $36 refund for the deposits on the bottles returned empty. It appears the advice to pay my bill ahead has caused a $20 balance on the account (that DID NOT subtract my deposit that should equal a refund TO ME) to go delinquent. I did not ignore the notices. This is my third call. The third call that told me the account had a $0 balance and refund was due. SO now I speak to "a specialist" that tells me the account cannot send a refund unless the balance is paid. "So let's let's pay the balance AND issue the refund...oh, now that won't work because it is possible the account was sent to collections since the 7 days the MAILED notice I am looking at was issued?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME...you owe me $36/I owe you $20 and YOU SEND THE ACCOUNT TO COLLECTIONS. Not just internal, because it just would not accept my payment AND- I was just disconnected.... I was looking forward to having Water delivered to my house. Without a hassle, I didn't know that it was going to cancel my account and let it go into collections without any notification and then been informed that once I pay that collection they would reinstate my service. Unfortunately that is not what happened. When I called Sparklett back to let them know I paid the past due. Sparklett told me they can no longer continue service, why tell me that you would if they were planning on not reinstate to begin with. When Sparkletts took over PureFlo water more than a year ago and inherited me as a customer, they stated on my inquiry that I was going to continue getting the same PureFlo water from the Santee Well, purified with no added minerals. Today I come to find out I have been getting purified City tap water with two added minerals 'for taste' that are not good for you, they call it 'Crystal Clear Drinking Water' or 'Crystal Clear Purified Water'. Then they started charging a 'paper fee' for sending me paper invoices which I never signed up for, and an 'energy fee' which was basically a delivery fee. Everytime you call sparkletts, their representatives have different stories and understanding of their own facts. Horrible company. read more

I've seen overnight two dollar jumps with absolutely no explanation why they happened. they purposefully make the billing system extremely confusing where you got to download separate PDF files .Can't stand the system can't understand what the heck is going on. I'm so busy there's no way in heck I could deal with that every month. Wicked wicked company full of lies and deceit they try to make you feel like the stupid one when THEY are the devillish schemers carefully designing complex bills to throw you off. They make you feel crazy like YOUR the wrong one when they overcharge you then they frustrate you so badly cause I takes too long to fix the problem on the phone they purposefully calculate their evil schemes counting on the Fact that you are too busy to carefully pore over the bill or to write down what they delivered and when. They charge 6.50 for each plastic jug you have in your possession then after you cancel they DO NOT honor their bottle deposit system if you don't return he jugs they charge you for them AGAIN. If there were zero stars I would give them zero. Customer service is terrible. Ive been on the phone for 20 minutes right now trying to cancel and schedule pickup. Was charged outrageous amount for bottle deposits!!!! Bill was 117 for 3 months....who drinks this much water? It is cheaper buying bottles from Costco!!! Every time we have to call for servicing and sometimes they don't even show up. I called recently in regards to this and the customer service rep claimed this is norm for their drivers. As someone said previously if I could give them 0 stars I would! I should start off by saying I did not choose Sparkletts as my water delivery service, I was a Pure Flo customer and they were unfortunately bought out by Sparkletts. At first everything was fine but now less than a year of being swapped over I have been over-delivered 4 times in the last 5 months. I have a standing order for 5 bottles of Spring Water every month. Sometimes I am delivered 6 bottles or more one time I was charged for 10 bottles but only received 7. I gave them many chances to fix this as I called every month for 3 months straight requesting that they stop over delivering. Their Customer Services is horrible! The people in the office give the same stock answers every time but do nothing to fix it. I was finally fed up with calling so I asked for the cancellation department they kept me on hold 20 minutes ( I am sure hoping I would give up) when I asked to cancel, there was no apologizing or asking what they could do to get me to stay, they said they could only pick up my equipment in 2 weeks on a Friday, I can't leave it outside, I have to take time off work and they can't even be bothered to give me a time frame! Oh and the best part is when I asked if I would be receiving a credit for any unopened bottles (that they over delivered to me) they said no!!! Horrible!!! I wish yelp would have the option for a negative review because Sparkletts would have a really negative rating!!!! We have been having problems with this water company for a while now. Last month, I tried to cancel our scheduled delivery on their website for that week but they still left the products on our front door. I called the 800# and they said they were going to pick it up 2 days later but they didn't show up. So I called again that night and it was to no avail because they said they already made the schedule for the next day. They finally arrived Friday to pick it up. Ok, fine, they finally did but the rep on the phone was so rude. She thought I was an idiot because she spoke to me like I was an idiot! We still kept their business until we started having problems with their dispenser so we called last week, (Wednesday 9/3/14) to ask for a new one because it's not producing hot water. The guy installed a cooler looking dispenser on Friday (9/5/14) but he said we have to wait 30 minutes before it heats up. So later that night i tried to make some hot coffee but it still wasn't putting any hot water! So again, we called the 3rd time to ask for a new dispenser but they said they can't deliver till monday. Well its Monday today but they never showed up. We are trying to find a better water delivery service because this company is not worth anybody's time and business. My recommendation, don't bother with this water delivery provider!!!! read more

When I first signed up, I couldn't honestly say anything bad about Sparkletts, but over the years, it has become obviously clear that their business has shifted from customer service to trying to get as much money out of their customers as they can. This ranges from raising the price of a 5 gallon bottle of water to $10.99 each to throwing an "energy surcharge" of about $7.00 onto every bill you receive. If I could give Sparkletts 0 stars, I would. This is the worst company I have had to deal with since Sprint. While the delivery driver was always professional and friendly, the folks at the office are uncaring and unresponsive. Over the last five years we have only received a water delivery on time about a half dozen times. Instead of delivering water when scheduled, they just change the delivery day. On several occasions, this new delivery date was out several days even over a week. Lastly, I coordinated with Sparkletts to pick up their empty bottles and cooler once my wife and I discontinued service. I indicated several times that 8/30 was the ONLY day available to pick up their things. I received an online confirmation and a verbal confirmation that they would, in fact be there on 8/30 to pick up. I was also assured that someone would call to confirm. No one called. No one came. Instead they just changed the pick up date to 9/3 and later to 9/4. I was later told that a supervisor would call me and , no surprise, I received no call. Ordered online set up a new service for delivery and chide the day I wanted it set up which was on a Monday and received a email confirmation. Easy right ? Nope !!! Never showed up or called. I called them and asked WTH ? I was told my delivery was changed to Friday. I asked who made that decision and could not get a answer. So I told them Friday didn't work but Thursday would and they agreed. Well no surprise. No show no call again. Called and was told my delivery was still scheduled for Friday. I dread every interaction I've had to have with them over the years. Not one of their representatives has any idea what is going on. They transfer me and give me completely different information each time. I just found out they have been charging me an additional $14 per month since last January for a cooler I do not have. After finding out that my pure flow/sparklets water bottles are made with BPA, I called them to see if they had any BPA-free bottles available. They do not. I then canceled my service and requested a refund for the 3 unopened cases I had left. I understand they can't use my unopened delivered bottles, but what I don't understand is a big company, like Sparkletts, not refunding my prepaid water bottles that had been delivered. Of the nearly 300 reviews I have written, you can count my one star reviews on one hand. A rating of such sub-par products and services is not something I take lightly and for me to get to such a rating, things have to be really, really bad. Sparkletts, unfortunately, more than deserves a lowly, one star recap. My only regret is that I did not do my homework and read the other reviews prior to giving my business to Sparkletts. Apparently my experience was nothing new. I too, like many of the others before me, signed up for Sparkletts home delivery at a local Costco Store. We were told that someone would contact us within three business days to SCHEDULE our first delivery and set-up. FIVE business days later, I received a call from a Sparkletts driver informing me he would be at my home the following morning at 0700. I informed him that would not work and reminded him that we were told the initial set-up was to be scheduled and that we should have received a call two days earlier. He apologized and scheduled the appointment for the afternoon hours two days later. Apparently, that was just lip service, as he showed up the next morning at 0700 anyway, which was a total inconvenience to me and my family. I called customer service and expressed my disappointment. When it came time for the next delivery, we received an automated call reminding us of the delivery the next day, with the added reminder to put all of the empty bottles on the front porch. The delivery never took place and the empty bottles remained on the porch. I again called customer service and expressed my disappointment and explained to them that Sparkletts has not, one time, followed through on anything they said they were going to do since we signed up. This same sort of scenario happened with the next delivery, so I again called customer service, this time cancelling the service. I was told the earliest they could come out to retrieve the equipment was more than a week away. Not happy, I put the bottles and equipment out on the date they had given me. You guessed it, nobody showed up to pick up the equipment. After several calls to customer service, they finally managed to come out and pick up their equipment. It took nearly THREE WEEKS after I called to cancel for them to come retrieve the equipment. They day after they picked it up I received a notice on the door from Sparkletts stating they stopped by, but were unable to get the equipment because nobody was home. This was from the SAME guy that picked it up the previous evening. There is a huge disconnect somewhere along the line within the Sparkletts chain and it is making for a customer service nightmare. Come to find out, the customer service number I was calling is answered by people in FLORIDA. No wonder nothing gets communicated and their service is terrible. Every time I called, I asked the customer service rep to look at the notes on my account. They confirmed everything was documented, but still nothing got accomplished. I would save yourself the money and headache and look for other options for quality water at home. read more
