She comes in, wary, a little scared, but the staff comes and brings her right back in. Even tho I take her potty beforehand (literally in the grass outside of the shop) she almost always has a nervous accident. I always apologize but the staff literally just says "no worries, we LOVE HER". I also really want to emphasize that they do not do cages here. Dogs get to interact with each other and be themselves with people and dogs alike. Love Meggo's, I am a customer for life!

My Morkie is a little sassy and Julie does such a good job with her as well. They always look fabulous! One of the most important things to me when I originally started with Julie, is that she grooms one dog at a time so your dog isn't sitting around in a cage for hours waiting their turn. I took my 13-pound dog in for a walk-in nail trim, and the groomer caused my dog to bleed. The explanation given was that my dog "jerked," despite being secured on the grooming lead. With a dog this small, that should not have happened with proper handling. Making an animal bleed during a basic service is unacceptable. Removing honest feedback instead of taking accountability is even more troubling. I'm sharing this so other pet owners are aware, and I will continue to repost if it's taken down again.

Then--------- I had always taken and picked her up. This time, my husband dropped her off. Normally, Lauren took the leash from me and to the grooming table they went. Yesterday, my husband was told by Lauren that she was 2 hours behind. She took the leash and he left. Jacki was our rescue 6 years ago. She was kept in a kennel all day and night for a very, very long time. I had given her history to the groomer and was told she wouldn't need to be kenneled. After my husband told me, I rushed out the door to get her. I walked in, and found Jacki in the kennel **** with her collar and leash wrapped around her leg and chest, still on!!! Her ears were flat like she was scared. No water in the kennel either. I was appalled. Who puts a dog in a kennel and leaves them like that? This establishment does. I opened the kennel door and Jacki shyly came out acting unsure and frightened. Lauren walked a bit towards me from the opposite side of the room, but never came close. No apology. She repeated that she was 2 hours behind as if she had no idea that Jacki was neglected and mistreated. I had to speak louder than normal since she never came over to me. I told her that she should have called me and asked if I could bring her later or reschedule. She said she would next time. I will not be going back. There won't be a next time, not ever. When we got outside, Jacki returned to her loving self. She gave me kisses and pulled me to the car. No apology or follow-up call from them. No recognition of how Jacki was treated so badly. Never again. I have since spoken with several dog people and knowledgeable in training. They would never leave a dog with a collar and leash on in the kennel. Everyone was appalled at Jacki's treatment.

They are always honest about what to expect and educate their clients on how to best take care of their fur babies coats. They even broke down how to maintain her coat and what tools and products are the best for her tight curl pattern. We used to take our fur baby to pet smart but it would take forever and the cut was never great. They normally only take 2 hours and 30 minutes from start to finish and Coco always looks perfect . We have a mini golden doodle who is 3 and she actually loves everyone at lovely pet spa and rushes to the door each visit
