They didn't tell me on the phone cash only so I had to get dressed, go to an atm, and come back. I am a mom of two kids I told her I have shoulder and neck pain. Asked for deep tissue massage. Literally says deep tissue on the window outside. I'm not sure what the misunderstanding was but we clearly couldn't understand each other and it seemed like they didn't want to do the massage. At this point the masseuse got the manager. I just wanted to go over what areas I wanted her to focus on if I'm paying $70 I wasn't looking for a soft massage I was looking for deep tissue. The manager talks to the masseuse then comes and talk to me. I told the manager I wanted a deep tissue massage and she said massage is not for me that I need a doctor. I was so confused. How do they not know what deep tissue is? It's just pushing a little harder than normal! Now the two of them are in the hallway talking and idk if I'm getting a massage or not so I ask what's going on. I sensed something was up and said at this point forget it I'll leave. So the manager goes back in the hallway and starts laughing!!! I said I don't know what's funny nothing is funny to me I just spent 30 mins driving here another 15 mins to go to the atm and back and I was really looking forward to just relaxing and they just wasted my time completely and then had the nerve to laugh about it. And the prices are way cheaper than most other massages in the area. Of course it always depends on which person you get for your massage but once you get to know the different people, you can start asking for your favorite. Most massages include use of the spa and the massage chairs. Or you can pay a low price and just go for the saunas, pools and to sit in the massage chairs. They have a fireplace and blankets in the chair area so you can cozy up and just hang out if you want. This is probably not at the most high and spa in this area but it is clean, comfortable and offers very good service. For a much lower price than anybody else seems to charge. This spa has updated their amenities and their service continuously, reacting to customer feedback and making improvements. The new receptionist speaks flawless English and is incredibly helpful.
