The patio lakeside is recommended - best views of the Bellagio fountains - just know you may get wet from spray. Our service was fab & reminded me of old Vegas where hospitality was king & service was exceptional. There for Sunday brunch, the menu was balanced with fares appropriate for time of day & included avocado toast with korean crunch, blueberry croissants, french toast, burgers, chicken parm...it's a great menu & hard to choose from. For the strip prices were low, $22 for the burger with fries. It was cooked perfectly and fresh. Those fries are amazing!! Definitely recommend and will definitely be back. I had made a reservation for a party of 3 and specifically requested to sit outside. We got taken to a beautiful table outside with hardly anyone in front of us. Wonderful job to the hosts team for taking my request and having a beautiful table ready for us outside! Marco and Gerald took care of us and they both gave amazing service and communication. Starting off, I got their espresso martini which was delicious and one of my friends got their old-fashioned and loved it. They're currently offering a summer prix fixe menu and one of my friends decided to try that. You get 2-3 options with an appetizer, entrée, and dessert. For her appetizer she got their tuna dish and loveddd it. She ordered the salmon as her entrée, but this was not great. She ended up having a really upset stomach and was in a lot of pain within a couple of hours. She didn't feel the salmon went down well at all. Maybe it was a one-time thing but just a heads up. As for the tuna dish, she said she'd order that again and again. I got the filet and it wasn't bad. Seemed a tad bit under-seasoned and hard to chew, but it was good. I was satisfied. Started off with the octopus salad, the octopus was very tender, with the citrus notes on the greens, and the chickpeas it worked very well together I had the veal Wienerschnitzel, the only concern with it was that the breading was not adhering to the veal - that's pretty minor, but a higher end, celebrity chef place - I don't expect a simple thing like a breading to trip things up. One of the drinks I tried was the Samurai Sword. We also got the pappardelle Bolognese, steamed Hong Kong halibut, and prawns. Flavor wise, the prawns were my favorite because of it's buttery chili flavor. The Hong Kong halibut was good too with the shitake mushrooms and soy sauce, but it wasn't as moist as I thought it was going to be. I'd still get the halibut again though. For dessert, we got some freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. They were loaded with lots of chocolate chip pieces. Despite having a reservation, it took us more than 30 minutes past our reservation time to be seated, and that was with various prompting. We did end up getting a lovely table on the patio by the fountains, but everything after that went downhill. It took nearly 45 minutes for any food to be brought to our table. We ordered a bread appetizer only to be told more than 20 minutes later that they, " ran out of bread" on a Saturday night. How does a restaurant the caliber of Spago run out of bread? Interestingly, about 20 minutes later, we observed bread being delivered to a nearby table. When we asked to speak to the manager regarding this, she informed us that they had to go to a nearby restaurant to get more bread, which turned out to be poor quality, -basic dinner rolls. Wow! An hour later, we still did not have our food. At this point, the manager Camille, started bringing out various samples of food, which we did not order and did not interest us. Finally out of pure frustration we left without eating. While the server was apologetic, it did not make up for the terrible evening, which took more than a month to get a reservation for. Interestingly, we had also previously ate at the Spago in Maui and had a similar experience just months ago. Please do not waste your time booking Spago. So disappointing. read more

Fresh off of our visit to Hell's Kitchen, we decided to hit up another celebrity chef spot on the strip. We were able to book a same day reservation on Memorial Day! We ordered à la carte and opted to sit inside since it was way too hot out. Here's my review of everything we ordered: Half dozen oysters: 5/5 -- the mignonette was soooo sharp and good! Oysters were very fresh and not briny. Crab cake: 4.75/5 -- could've used a hintttt of lemon, maybe a punchier salsa on top? Didn't really taste the puree either, but the crab itself was so sweet. Smoked salmon pizza with caviar: 5/5 -- I wanna hate this just to be a hater but this is delicious lol. I love how light the cream cheese is and the dough is perfection Agnolotti: 5/5 -- creamy, sweet, rich, the mushrooms are almost meaty, soooo good Veal wienerschnitzel: 3.75/5 -- cutlet itself was really good, the sides just seemed a little plopped on and not super cohesive? Would've scored higher if not the price point. Jidori chicken: 3/5 -- everything was done well, but it was so one dimensional. Had me wishing I kept the mignonette from the oysters to eat with this dish. Squeezed some lemon on top from the veal dish and it helped but at that price point I shouldn't have to make any adjustments. Cocktail with pineapple rum: 5/5 -- delicious, that hint of vanilla with the pineapple is divineeee Spiked lemon: 5/5 -- unapologetically yuzu!!! the chocolate shell is not too sweet, and the meringue as well. The chocolate is thin and tempered well; has a nice snap to it. Pretty good scores for the food, but why 3 stars? Whereas my partner and I thought Hell's Kitchen was worth the price, we didn't think that was the case for Spago. We came first for brunch. That wasn't particularly impressive. - small portions and an omelette that, while lovely in color, was just an omelette after all. So when we made a dinner reservation, I wasn't expecting to be wowed. I was wowed. Here's what you do: Get yourself a reservation for a guaranteed patio/water view. It's $150 a person food/beverage minimum I believe, but it's worth it. And it's also easy to achieve if you follow my instructions. Start with the lobster bisque. My partner is still talking about this a couple of months later. Probably the best lobster bisque he's had in Vegas and he tries them all. Order the bread. I know... paying for bread is wild but this is worth it. Get a seafood tower. It's not on the dinner menu. It's only on the brunch menu. I have no idea why. Few things say "I'm in VEGAS BABY" more than a seafood tower. But if you ask for one, you can get one. And you should. It's one of the best we've had on the Strip. Order a couple of glasses of Champagne. Relax and enjoy that amazing view. Oh, and you've probably hit your spend minimum by now. If not, get that Spiked Lemon for dessert. Few things say "Celebratory" more than champagne, fresh seafood and that view. This is a meal I would do a hundred times or more. Now tip your waiter generously because the service is perfect. After walking past this restaurant for years and years, we finally stopped in for a little bite. I know the Chinois Chicken Salad $28 is famous. I found it to be ok. It was mostly the ingredients (cashews & chicken) instead of lettuce greens. It was also over dressed and a touch soggy. I wouldn't order it again. The staff tried to accommodate every table for outside seating when I had went & they were also super sweet bc each member tried to get to know us individually. I was also able to get a reservation the day prior for a Saturday quite easily. We ordered the smoked salmon pizza with caviar and hamachi sashimi as our starters which was absolutely worth it and delicious. For our main entrees we ordered American wagyu eye of ribeye steak and the pappardelle bolognese - would not recommend. Our steak was extremely chewy and buttery- it was like biting into oil and hard rubber. I definitely don't think it was true wagyu meat served from the texture alone. The bolognese pasta was also coated in oil in every bite. If I had known I would have ordered more of just appetizers next time. read more

We had a really nice brunch celebrating a birthday. We arrived at our scheduled reservation when it opened so we were able to get a table outside overlooking the famous Bellagio lake. I had the French toast and it was very good. The toast was soft and covered with berry compote and some crema fresh. Very well put together. I had some bacon with it and it too was well made. My wife had the steak and eggs and she was very happy with it. The service was outstanding! Our server was very friendly and attentive and tried to go out of his way to make it great. Always a good experience coming to Spago, it's located in Bellagio and has a good view of the strip and the Bellagio Fountain. The restaurant is modern and upscale, there's a live DJ playing music so ambiance is nice. I enjoy the Wolfgang chains and my other favorite is CUT. Food We started with the two pizzas and the smoked salmon is my favorite. The dashi marinated roe really adds a nice briny flavor to the pizza in combination with the creamy texture of the Crème Fraiche. The omelette was also perfectly cooked with a soft interior, the mushrooms had good seasoning and the texture felt like a protein. Spiked lemon dessert was a popular choice from all the reviews so had to give it a try. The chocolate crunchy exterior paired with the moist cake interior went really well together. A very nice tangy and rich dessert. Service Had to take 1 star offfor the service, although our server was friendly and other waitstaff were promptly refilling waters/clearing out plates, overall it felt slow. We booked a patio table and were fortunate enough to be seated right against the glass with a completely unobstructed view of the Fountains of Bellagio. The service matched the energy, our waiter and the entire team were fun, engaging, and dialed in from start to finish. We kicked things off with champagne, followed by a fantastic lineup of starters including the salmon pizza with caviar and the BBQ prawns. We shared a pasta dish featuring morel mushrooms and English peas with delicate, pillowy pasta that was honestly unforgettable, rich, balanced, and packed with flavor. It had a cream base with raw salmon and ikura on a thin pizza crust. Very unique but familiar flavors. Beet salad (4.7/5) - whatever they did with the goat cheese on there was amazing. Best thing I ate that night was that goat cheese. It had this Smokey distinctive taste that I can't put my finger on. That paired with the fresh mint, juicy and mild beat, and refreshing orange slice was perfection. Red snapper curry (4/5) - not bad. Strong fish sauce flavor. This was my first time here for dinner and it did not disappoint. The hostess was so sweet and she even remembered me from my last brunch visit! They gave me a beautiful window table with a view and being able to watch the fountains made the dinner even more enjoyable. The crab cakes were delicious as usual, but the lamb chops with eggplant and snap peas just blew me out of the water. The lamb chops had a delicious crust and the eggplant was one of the best eggplant preparations I have had. The sauce and the way it was cooked was so addicting. Wow! First, What a gorgeous restaurant. We requested in our reservation to have a patio seat and they accommodated that so there's really nothing like having a view of the Bellagio fountains right alongside dinner. The food was perfect. We got the taste of summer prix fixe menu, I chose the ahi tuna appetizer, then pork with greens and grilled peaches for my main, and basque cheesecake for dessert and my husband got the salmon for his main. Both incredible but compared to the pork, the salmon was a bit lackluster and I thought they should've been more equal in flavor and impressions. We also added on the corn and butter pasta addition which was an extra $20. Everything tasted fresh and so good and it came out pretty quick, probably an hour and 15 minutes for the whole experience. What an amazing experience in celebrating our 36th wedding anniversary. First of all our service was impeccable! Julian was our main waiter, he paced the entire meal perfectly! He made several really good recommendations and was perfect in his service. We were seated on the balcony with a great view of the Fountain show. We started off with two appetizers and two glasses of wine. We shared the Endive Salad and Octopus. They were fantastic! For our entrées, we had the filet mignon and the Wienerschnitzel. They were both 10 out of 10. And then we finished up with dessert, wow! Do not miss the spiked lemon dessert! It's the most amazing dessert that both my wife and I have ever had. Upon arrive to our reservations we noticed the older front desk lady wasnt so happy checking us in. Hope she is ok. She seated us inside dark corner. As my friend & I check for drinks to order PAUL came to us. He check our ID's noticed we are from AZ! He knew we both came far to visit. Shout out to him! PAUL WAS AMAZING! He made our entire night. We just love it here! This is a must stop when visiting Vegas. I highly recommend getting a reservation as they are always booked. The best view is the balcony because you can see the fountains go off and enjoy the music. We came to celebrate our 6 year wedding anniversary and it's become custom to stop in here. They treat you wonderfully and always go the extra mile. They changed the menu from the last time we visited but all the dishes were wonderful. The bolognese is still my favorite and was so happy to enjoy it again. The Hamachi was A+ extremely fresh and their presentation was wonderful. The beef carpaccio was flavorful and their meat was super tender. Honestly nothing is better than this in Vegas. Stop in I highly recommend. read more
