I only had 4 mags coated with Cerakote and he treated me like other guys might treat a high volume customer. He showed me around his shop and seemed really proud of his operation. The mags came out great, the work was excellent and the price was the best that I could find. I got them back in 3 days. (I had a non Cerakote certified gunshop in NH quote me 25% more for the same work and told me it would take a couple of weeks.) SMI is probably one of the best companies that I have ever worked with and as a facilities manager over the years I have dealt with many.

Called after 2 weeks to ask where the job was at. The person I spoke with told me another 3 or 4 more weeks until they could get to it. I told them they need to work on their communication because now we are talking something totally different. He told me to come get my stuff. I arrived to pick up my parts found on their front steps with the door locked and the "OPEN" flag out. Although I didn't get the chance to use these guys, they were unprofessional from the beginning. I understand COVID has taken its toll on small businesses and the demand for laborers, but you need to provide some level of customer service and communication for there to be grace. The fact that I had to wait 2 weeks for you guys to dump me is ridiculous.
