Moving day is deeply humbling…read more I have used this U-Haul location for several moves to and from college in Auburn, and just this past weekend for an in-town Birmingham move! I have never had an issue with anything here, they always have whichever truck I reserved online ready for me, always have the extra blankets and dolly available. Sure, customer service is just ok, but I've never had a blatant issue with anybody! It cost around $50 to rent a 10' truck for 6 hours. The 10' truck fit a queen size bed, couch, dresser, hutch, chairs, and lots of boxes!

I VERY unhelpful counter person told me I would get a call 2 days before the pick up date to confirm. I did not get the call so I returned to the store where the same unhelpful person wrote some numbers on a piece of paper then scurried away. The paper informed me that the truck would be at a location 10 miles away and the trailer at a different location 25 miles away. He finally, after attempting to get away, gave me the number for customer no answer service. After 30 minutes of holding my problem was resolved by a VERY helpful lady named Ms Long.
