The "relaxing" music was clearly from a streaming service, as I noticed a cell phone hooked to a speaker on the floor. 4. The room had an odd aroma and the carpet was soiled and a bit worn. When I looked at the massage table I noticed a peculiar covering over where a face pillow was intended to be. I asked myself, "is that a paper towel?!" Yes, indeed it was- see attached photo! 5. The massage therapists must have been on their lunch break as they were in the next room talking loudly and it seemed as if they were arguing! This made me tense and made for an unpleasant experience as the arguing continued for the duration of my massage. 6. No one told me that the massage therapist would be physically on top of me. There was no warning just a woman literally crawling on top of my body- this made me very uncomfortable as I just had a baby and am still a bit sensitive! On top of that she encouraged me to get a longer massage next time so she could do more for me- the constant encouragement to spend more money is discouraging. 7. Once the massage commenced, I got dressed and proceeded to the front. There the massage therapist was standing and asked, "Aren't you going to leave me a tip?! I need a tip!" Begrudgingly, I gave her a tip that she examined, sucked her teeth and walked away! I will NOT return to this location. I'd rather pay extra or drive a longer distance than to waste my money here. The water did not stay cold for the 23 min session which I've never had that service less 30 min. The chairs were dirty the walls were dirty. There was a television that was off with no offering of the remote or to turn it on. There was a candle not lit. It appeared that there were things available to make a relaxing atmosphere but just not utilized. There was a tile missing from the ceiling. Just not a relaxing vibe or hygienic atmosphere so I cancelled my remaining services.
