This is a way that we know we can have good delicious healthy food and have it be ready in two or three minutes! I really like that you can choose regular or Paleo meals and that each week it's a new menu with different meals than the week before. I don't like to do a lot of dairy so I LOVE that all her meals are dairy free! I have started a list in my phone of my all-time favorites so that way I remember if they come up on the menu again to order a couple extra or to get a family size meal and my fiancé, his son and I can all have it for dinner one night! It's a bit spendy, but for me the value is in the time saved and avoiding eating out or having to buy crappy frozen lean cuisine type meals! My fiancé was skeptical at first because we've tried a few other meal and food delivery type services and we always end up canceling after a month or two because we don't see the value. Chef Michael then organize the menu with my son and his fiancé. Chef Michael showed up and started his prep, he was very professional and approachable. His organization in the kitchen was amazing. We had 10 adults and three grandchildren at the tables. Chef Michael treated the kids with respect and described each dish as it came out. We had five appetizers, a couple salads, and the main with two sides. Everything was exceptional, we are still talking about it. We will remember this meal forever. Chef Michael packed up leftovers, and clean the kitchen immaculately. We couldn't be any happier with the service and the food that we received. Their website is easy to use, and on the few occasions I've had to speak with customer service regarding a question about pausing an order or with help in regards to accommodating a nut allergy, they have been quick to respond, incredibly friendly, and very helpful. Now, let's talk about the food. Absolutely delicious! I love that they have a good mix of interesting cuisines, and that every meal is gluten and dairy free. Over the course of the six months that I have been a subscriber, I've only had about five or six meals that I didn't personally care for, and that wasn't because they weren't good, just my own personal preference. Lunch is always a delicious salad of some form (with a protein), and twice a week lunch also comes with a delicious soup. Their dressings are always so yummy, and you'd never guess they are dairy free! The dinners are SO good! I'd pick a favorite, but honestly, there have been too many to name here. Additionally, there is enough variety and variance in their menu that I've never felt bored with my meals, even after six months. I love that their packaging is 100% compostable, even the stickers they use! Another bonus is that they reuse the bags and ice packs they deliver your food in. On the days that I have a food delivery from them, I simply set the previous order's bag and ice packs outside, and they take it with them after dropping off my new order. I really love this. I have used other services in the past, but I hated all of the waste from the weekly packaging and trying to dispose of the used ice packs. I should also mention that deliveries come twice a week, so your food is always extremely fresh, and the handful of rotating delivery drivers they use are all incredibly friendly and professional. Pricing wise, I actually spend less than I do at the grocery store. I think this is because when I'm at the grocery store, I'm often tempted by all of the snacks and goodies in front of my eyes, and end up putting way more in my basket than I actually need.
