But for the past few visits.I had noticed that it was not a good experience as the last masseus was very rough . Today I made it as far as to pay.......Also something new.They said you have to pay first.I then walk to a room with all the ligts on,no music and the vibe was just terrible... I ask is it ok to use the room I always use since the whole place is empty anyhow as I was the only customer .They said take all your clothes off except underwear.I said Yes I will I know this .I have been here 7 times before.But may I use the room next door and can the light be out like usual. The receptionist said to lady he wants the other room. At this time another woman pops out of a back room and when that woman saw I was African American she kept looking at my hands and staring and looking down at me like i was an animal or something. She told the receptionist/cashier to give him his money back. He can go...I asked her why as my back was aching from the ride there. I got a few times massage, beCause it's so cheap))))). Kitty - is most professional and nice person, she knows what she is doing (but I think she quit this job at this spa, I never saw her again). Alice - I don't think she has a massage skills, she is ok.... Nothing special. Also she doesn't make massage on time, instead of 1 hour, she do 55 min, it's big minus, don't think that we are customers don't check a time!!!! And she doesn't do massage on foot and hands, huuuuge mistake!!!! Simon - a young guy who doesn't know how to do massage. He is super nice guy, but need to practice and learn how to do massage. This is a place that is open 24/7 in Midtown manhattan. It is very clean and there are nice people employed here, although they have very little English, they always greet you with a smile. It costs five dollars more late at night, but I have been here many times and it is always worth it. if you're looking for a late massage where they really work your muscles and relieve stress and pain with a reasonable price tag, this is it! I just had a massage by Lena and she was outstanding. She know instinctively by touch where to dig in and helped to alleviate my tennis elbow and problems with my neck. I finished work and went there at 2:30 in the morning and she worked on me for 90 minutes for $70 plus tip. Excellent massage and very, very clean environment with nice, new clean towels! DO NOT COME HERE!!! Four of us came in for late night massages hoping to relieve achy feet and legs. I paid for a full body massage and my sons foot massage. They charged us $90 including an after 9pm $10 fee. She spent 45 min massaging my back which wasn't the greatest, 45 seconds on my feet, and 15 min on my face. After we were done, they had the audacity to ask for a tip. They literally stood in front if the elevator blocking us from leaving and then started arguing with each other about who did who and demanded tips. I was very upset about this. They didn't deserve a tip, and I left feeling ripped off. My feet and knees were still store and I am out $110. They could care less how satisfied you are, they just want your money. We have come at all goes, early morning, mid afternoon, evening and middle of the night and have never had an issue! I am a massage aficionado. I've had at least 100 Asian specific acupressure massages. This place is a little sketchy like all Chinese Korean or Japanese places in the city but the place is extremely clean and acupressure was fantastic!! It was also cheaper and a better quality than anything you would get in Chinatown. Ive found that the Korean day spa's focus on quality and precision. This massage was no different I felt absolutely amazing after super impressed. If you want a legit massage with real truly effective technique this is the spot. They also have a couple's room for my husband and I which made it convenient and nice. They don't speak much English but that's fine with me! More authentic the better! read more

It's been a long time since i had my facial done. So coming here for the first time is a bit scary since i read mixed reviews about this place. But,my experience was so excellent. Staff were friendly and so accomodating. I would recommend Rebecca. She's very nice and does the job done. I had a 75mins facial spa and towards the end of the time i was given an upper body massage which makes it even more relaxing. The only down side is front staff does not tell you right away the deal when you pay with credit card so you'll end up paying cash so not to pay an additional $5 plus tax for $65. Spa32 was a great "straight to the point" massage experience. I did not expect any sort of high-end amenities; just a simple massage and It was way better than I expected! Earlier in the week I felt some pain and tightness in my left trapezius muscle area which also caused the left side of my neck to stiffen up. I could barely rotate my head left without some discomfort! I went to Spa32 around 8:30pm without an appointment. I did not acknowledge the soreness / stiffness in this area as I wanted to see if my masseuse would pick this up on her own as she provided the massage to my back area. As she was massaging my back I noticed she focused on that precise area! It was as if she was reading my muscles while massaging and had re-read because she picked up the point. She spent a great amount of time working on this area and I literally laid there in disbelief on how good she was. I will definitely be back! I paid with cash, $45. I provided a $15 tip. Sure, it may have been slightly on the higher end for a tip but I walked away in 100% less pain. Thank you Spa32! read more

Called st 7am and requested a 2 hour massage at 7:30. Based on a review here, I asked for Amy or Ana. I arrived at 7:25 and was met with the strangest, sickening smell. I had 2 hours to try to figure out what it could be, but never came up with anything. I was told that Amy would be my masseuse. I went to the restroom, and was led to a room at 7:30 (Amy had not yet arrived). I got on the table and waited at least 10 minutes. When she arrived, she began to massage me before even removing her coat. For the first 30 minutes, everything was done through a towel and was medium pressure at best. I asked if oil could be used and she immediately folded back the towel and used oil. For the next 30 minutes or so, she did a very nice deep tissue on my shoulders and back. She finished the upper torso (back) with a short hot stone massage. Then it was like some other person took over her body. For the second "hour" I got the most bizarre, worst pseudo-Swedish massage of my life. In all honesty, a three year old could have applied more pressure. It was like, once we hit the hour mark, she just quit. At one point, she spent 10 minutes doing some strange tickling/rubbing thing to my forehead and scalp. It was, no question at all, the worst massage I have ever gotten. And, thankfully, she shorted me by at least 10 minutes. That was fine because I had been wanting to leave for the past 45+ minutes. I tipped her generously, because I had read all of the reviews saying they would throw a fit if you don't give at least 20-25%. At that point, I just wanted to get out of there. read more

Can't beat the price. I found myself wandering through Koreatown and Spa32 price advertisements certainly caught my attention. $35 for a 60 minutes of foot reflexology? The place is on the 3rd floor so I couldn't get a good view of it from street level. I decided I'd take the elevator ride up to check it out and promised myself I'd turn around if it looked sketchy. I was reassured by the seemingly reputable businesses sharing the building. The tiny elevator door opened and I was pleasantly surprised by a quaint little "Spa." Don't get me wrong this is not a big budget production, but it was peaceful and clean. Given the advertised prices I really didn't expect much more than that. As a Saturday afternoon walk-in they had immediate availability and I was escorted back to the foot reflexology room where there were three plushy Lazy boy like chairs lined up in a row. I sat by myself in the room and removed my shoes. A lady came in with a bucket of steaming hot "spa" like blue fluid and I was instructed to dip my feet in. I did appreciate that the bucket was lined with a disposable plastic bag. After a good soak the lady came back and proceeded up to lather up my calfs down to my toes with a lotion and proceeded to do "foot reflexology." I wouldn't know good foot reflexology from bad reflexology, just felt like a really pleasant foot rub. Certainly exponentially better than what my husband is capable of. I suppose if I'm being super critical she could have applied more pressure when massaging, but at the same time I don't expect this woman to develop arthritis and for the price I was paying for 60 minutes, I really didn't mind. The foot massage felt great. The experience was super relaxing. She finished off the experience with steaming hot towels and rubbed off all the lotion that she had applied while giving a good firm massage to my legs and feet. She then gave me a quick back/neck massage (maybe like 3-5 minutes) which was great. I tipped her $10 and paid my $35 in cash. Very smooth transaction. This is a no frills establishment but the price point is excellent. For the sake of being decent, when you go, please tip decently. They basically do an hour of manual labor and are probably work horrendous hours given that this place is unbelievably open 24 hours a day. It's a tight profit margin and if you can afford to be getting a massage/spa treatment in the first place, you can easily spare a few more dollars when it comes to tipping. . Also, I would recommend bringing cash as some people have mentioned dissatisfaction by being charged more to use a credit card. Summary: For a decent, relaxing cheap massage this is the place. Immediately she went into "oh for this industry ...$10 minimum, they work hard. etc etc". [The TRUTH? I tipped this male therapist $15 last time. I just happen to not have cash on me, but I make good money to not be cheap on tip] FYI -- Spa32 charges $3-$7 if you use your credit card, or $1.75 to use the ATM at the counter. Now I am left looking at the menu, whether to get 30 minutes or stick with the $35/hr foot massage. A couple walks in behind me and Jane ignores me to take them AND gives them my requested therapist . At this point -- NO, you do not get to make money off me today, NOR do I want to be a regular client (despite my weekly appointment in that neighborhood). I wanted a regular massage to recharge and all I got was a massage from an inexperienced masseuse or maybe a masseuse in training. The room I was put in was tiny and I it gets better! Our dogs were barking after a few days of nonstop walking to touristy spots from upper to lower Manhattan & every where in between. We did a yelp search to find something after visiting 5th Ave and Empire State Bldg...enter Spa32 I. Koreatown. The location was somewhat difficult to find, sign outside was up & not at street level. It was little confusing that you have to enter the 1st floor store, go down a hall, up a small service elevator to reach Spa32. Truth be told, we wondered what we were getting ourselves into. Once inside, the spa staff was welcoming, and the space clean, & calming. Though we were prepared to make an appt and come back after dinner and more walking, we were lucky they had staffing available for us as walk ins right then. The pricing was on par with what we pay at home. The chairs, lighting, and space were so relaxing. We asked for 30 min reflexology, but after 15 min our masseuses were so wonderful, that we asked to bump it to an hour. After checking with the office manager, they were able to accommodate. It was hard to stay awake. We left energized and ready to tackle the next few days of our sightseeing trip. We will return to Spa32 on our next trip to Manhattan. read more

This was not a pleasant experience. I have been to countless places in the city for years for massages and this was certainly the worst one yet. I usually prefer not to have a male masseur but as that was the only option at the time, I decided why not. I will never make that mistake again. This man was very aggressive and rapid, as if he was late for something and had some place else to be. He was not listening to the tension in my body at all and just dug into my back with excessive force. He was strong, yes, but never took the time to actually work out my knots and in fact made them worse. In addition, there was a moment when he asked me to hang my arms over the table, and after a moment of more back pounding, he kind of pushed his junk into my hand. Accident? Maybe, but the entire thing made me incredibly uncomfortable and unable to relax. Now, I've had male masseur's before, and I certainly don't remember that being a common occurrence. And LASTLY, he spent entirely too much time on my butt. From the massage itself, he went over it again and again. Or, it was time to straighten out the towel, he would place his hand directly on my ass while he used the other arm. Is that necessary? Also, he would place his hands at the small of my back and just shake my body, for what? To relax my muscles or just see my bottom jiggle, because I've never had anyone shake my body during a massage. Maybe it was a fluke, but I have NEVER had a massage as terrible and offensive as this one. Ladies, please be wary of this place, I wouldn't trust it unless you have a women.
