5/27/2026 After walking the big apple for 3 days I felt like a little TLC was needed. I was able to save a few bucks (thanks Groupon), take a short walk and found the shop. I've seen places with the signs out all over the city and I just so happened to have ended up in this one. Very quiet relaxing vibes I got the hour long massage with CBD oil and cupping Swedish edition. Room was clean, dimly lit and had soft music playing the whole time. My guy really did a great job it was my first cupping session and was kind of nervous but it was absolutely fine. Solid massages at fair prices. Facilities are solid and clean. Rooms end up quite dark though it doesn't bother me. There's a focus on quality here for the actual massages. Good strength, skill and focus. A minor complaint would be how noise carries since the room divisions only go up about halfway thanks to the high ceilings, so you'll hear everything. read more

6/5. An amazing chair massage by Katie. It was hard to communicate but she got the message that I was hoping for a hard massage and boy she went deep-tissue! It was 30 minutes but felt longer and she was focused the whole time. My shoulders and back felt much better after. With their generous 15% holiday discount it only ended up being $33, a total steal, so I tipped generously. If I lived here I'd go every other week, it's hard to find a massage spot that clicks, believe me I've been trying to find one forever in SF. read more

Out of all the massage spots I've been to using my classpass credits, Newself Bodywork is my ultimate favorite spot! I've been here twice for 90 minute massages and both times they were the best massages I have ever received. They have lots of times to choose from, which is pretty convenient. The only downside is that the whole place is an open space with just curtains - you can hear everything from the phone ringing, to other customers talking to each other in their couples massage etc. If the rooms were more private, the quality of the massage would be better, but this does not discount the skill of the masseuses. Will be back to spend my classpass credits here every month! read more

I wanted to try a different venue and found this place. They have hours that are accommodating and their location is in a safe and populated area. The staff was very nice and I asked for a one hour foot massage. The massage was great but they did it in the lobby area where everyone walks in. Needless to say it was not exactly relaxing because people were coming and going, the phone was ringing and the employees were talking to each other. I then had a 30 minute deep tissue in my shoulders and back. The room was much more private and the lighting was more relaxing. I had the same person do my massage and he was very nice and extremely strong. He worked out the knots which I wanted but it was painful. I was not sore the next day which I thought I would be. I will go back but I am going to ask about a better location for the foot massage for privacy and relaxation. The prices are excellent so it is worth the money!! read more

If you are looking for a soft touch massage, this is the place for you. But don't go here if you have back, shoulder, neck pain to get relief. I was hoping to get some pain relief and visited during lunch hour for 30 mins and the massage was too soft... too much rubbing and no presser point. It's almost like a joke and waste of my time. I asked the lady to go harder but her touch is too soft. I cannot recommend this place to anyone. read more

After a long 4 days of sightseeing, we ended the trip with a massage and oh my goodness, they were the best!!! A fantastic massage for the price. Walked 22k steps our 1st day visiting NYC. I'm in good shape but my knee started hurting - tight IT band. We were staying at the Archer Hotel and this place was next door. Called for an appointment and they got me in within 30 minutes. I've been to lots of spa/resorts. This place was a little different but in a good way for what I was looking for. Calming spa music, peaceful and minimal decor. The treatment rooms are open - like the walls only go up about 10 feet but the ceiling is at least 20ft high and there aren't doors, just heavy fabric covering the door opening. Also, no sheet/blanket to cover up. They use an extra large (6'x3') heavy bath towel. They did have a bed warmer. The massage was therapeutic, she really got into my problem areas and I felt so much better, knee pain significantly reduced. It's not a spa I'd go to for a pampering spa day but it was perfect for what I needed. The staff was incredibly friendly. Very nice experience. read more
