Benefits of head spa treatment include strengthening of hair follicles, stimulating blood flow, reducing dandruff, easing headaches and tension, and cleansing of the scalp and hair. On the day of the appointment, my friend and I walked in and were directed to the treatment room. Our beds were next to each other, but there was a curtain separating us so we had privacy. We were given a robe and told the staff when ready. The employee did a deep scalp cleaning, water therapy, head massage, shoulder and neck meridian, shampooing, nourishing hair and blow dry.​ The treatment took about 30 minutes and I felt so relaxed after. My hair felt very clean and soft and looked more shiny and healthy. After getting dressed, I checked out, paid and tipped with my credit card which has a 3% surcharge. It would have been cool if my scalp and hair roots were analyzed using a microscope providing a detailed view of my scalp's condition like in other places, but that didn't take place here. We started with a pedicure then right to my nails. The tech told me I needed a new set. Ok, sure. I'm happy with starting fresh. Well, how is it possible that I got both a manicure and a full set in an hour and 15 minutes, was charged $185 and it's three days later and I already have 4 nails lifting?! I went there because where I normally go had to cancel all of their appointments for an emergency and I needed my nails fixed ASAP. Never again.
