I had an excellent experience at this spa, it was simply amazing!…read more I booked a deep tissue massage and it was as strong as I wanted and very skilled. The masseuese was a true professional who knew what they were doing. My aching back was feeling so much better after. When you go to this spa you are free to come as early as you like or stay as late as you want after your treatment in order to enjoy the rooftop indoor pool, sauna, steam room, gym, or relaxation room. I never felt rushed and they encouraged me to stay as long as I wanted. The changing room was nice and had showers with soap, shampoo, etc. They can also provide you with deoderant, a shaving kit, and a toothbrush kit if asked. Along with the robe and slippers they loan you at check-in, you really do not need to bring anything. The relaxation room has bottled water, fancy teas and some nuts and dried fruit. In the end, with local pricing, it was not too expensive. They have monthly promotions so be sure to sign up for their newsletter. The service was the best of any spa ive been to and I look forward to returning again and again.

The room was filled with conversation that allowed the experience to remain relaxing and all the while Mel did a wonderful job. When I go back and I will I will always book with her from now on. I love the backrooms as they're quiet but it is a very vibrant place. They will now be starting or already have begun packages to take your niece, daughter, god daughter, ect ect ect. for a day at the spa. Which I am really looking forward to.

All the massage therapist are good here you really can't go wrong my favourites ones though are Jessie and Anna. When it comes to laser and facial, the ultimate best is Ida, she is very attentive, sensitive to your needs, she gives great advice and tips. There is no pressure to buy products. The place offers free valet parking, and is surrounded by restaurants, so after a nice spa day you can go for a great meal.

The other one is very very very rude and don't do the work properly : first time she put a chelac that went away In one of my nails after few days. The second time I asked nicely a question, she called the manager and were passive agressive. If you want to do your nails there, you have to go silent and ask no questions, it's either you will be ignored or yelled at. Very very bad experience. I am going back to k2spa in griffintown which I recommend so much! Even it's a bit far from my place now.

Spa Humaniti is located on floor 9 of the Humaniti Hotel. It is a small spa with 5 treatment rooms,…read more2 foot massage stations, and 2 nail stations. It serves guests of the hotel, the Humaniti rental apartments, and Humaniti condominium owners. Prices are typical (at least compared to Toronto prices). For example, a 1-hour Deep Tissue massage is $120. They also have Swedish ($110) and Therapeutic ($120) massages. Deep Tissue requires an RMT to have higher qualifications; this spa location has 2 such qualified RMTs. The spa also has facial & body care, nail care, and hair removal. All treatments and prices are on their website. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful. I was surprised to hear about a Vegan manicure and pedicure (never heard of it before). They used Bkind vegan products. This is good for those who get a manicure every 2 weeks. They even have Vegan nail polish! The entire spa is scented by a plugin aroma dispenser. There is a lounge resting area which has water and tea; unfortunately there are no cookies or fruit. Booking must be done with a credit card since they have 24-hour and 48-hour cancelation policies. There are seasonal promotions. Those who live in the Humaniti condos and apartments have 20% off massage treatments. The foot massage stations have electrical and USB plugs. There is free WiFi provided by the hotel. The spa is wheelchair accessible. There are washrooms which are also wheelchair accessible. There is paid street parking or valet parking for $12. I had the opportunity to speak to the manager, Lisa. She knows her spa well. She is also in charge of the pool and gym; she gave me a tour of them. However, only hotel guests can use the pool and gym. Review 2022-035 You can also find me on Instagram @chuan_chee. Thanks.

I went to this spa earlier this year while I was staying at the Humanitii…read more I received a facial and a massage, and the services were very good. The massage therapist gave me some great tips for long term back pain and I felt extremely relaxed during the service. The esthetician was also fantastic and gave me lots of details about what she was doing, what each step was for which I learned a lot from. I have one piece of critical feedback, which has nothing to do with the staff or services. The robes are way too small. These are also the robes in the hotel rooms if I recall correctly. I'm a US16 and these didn't close on my body. Everyone should be able to enjoy a spa day, including but not limited to people with larger bodies. Because of this I really couldn't wear the robes in the spa area and had to just keep my clothes on until I got into the treatment room. This also meant I couldn't enjoy the common area in the same way. Overall this is a really lovely spa and a beautiful space but I would encourage the owners to expand the robe sizes they offer in order to make everyone feel welcomed and comfortable in a spa which should be all about comfort.

I just moved to Montreal (west island) this year and have been in pursuit of a great aesthetician…read more My search ended today when I found Manon. She is fantastic! She did a wonderful Brazilian, by far one of the least painful I have EVER had! And believe me that says a lot as I am a Toronto native and our standards for Brazilians are very high. She did an impeccable job, very accurate and, of course, she never double dips in her wax. I loved how professional, quick and friendly she was. I also had my eyebrows done at the same time, which of course she did a fabulous job of. I like my brows natural and she did them perfectly. Plus I have a low pain tolerance when it comes to plucking and usually tear up, amazingly she was so gentle I could have fallen asleep!! The spa itself has a gorgeous homey atmosphere. Very clean and warm! We were immediately greeted and offered the usual coffee/tea/water. We were then were led upstairs to two comfy chairs to await our appointment, which we did not wait long for. Now for the real kicker: PERFECT PRICE! If you're looking for the right place on the west island for any of your waxing needs, Manon is certainly it.

Its very intimate body part and you need to feel comfortable in order to minimize pain, I felt very comfortable and was practically painless. I liked my time at Espace Nomad a lot…read more The place is on a nice corner of St. Laurent, and the large windows capture every bit of light they can, giving the place an airy feeling. A cafe to your left when you walk in has absolutely delicious espresso drinks, smoothies and - to my surprise - a scrumptious chai tea (I'm not usually a huge fan of chai blends, but this one was GOOD). I love the packages, and was able to get a prenatal massage and a pregnancy-safe pedicure. Both practitioners/techs were incredibly sweet, warm, welcoming and nurturing. The pillows they have for pregnant people make it possible to lay comfortably on your stomach. The massage itself was very light, and since I get regular massages back home, I know it is possible to be with-child and still get a little more pressure, but that is alright: it was still a very relaxing, welcome experience. The pedicurist was so fun to talk to and did a fantastic job of smoothing out my feet and making them sparkle. I would absolutely recommend and will return. I think the prices are very fair as well.

The place has a nice bohemian vibe. I had a 90 min Thai massage with oil and it definitely wasn't the best one I had. I Felt like my masseuse didn't have much experience and wasn't very present ( I have had many massages so I can tell). I would have liked to give them a 4 star but it was far from a 4 star. I still gave her a nice tip even though I didn't really enjoy my massage... If I were to go back, I would try someone else and a different type of massage. Glad I can cross this place off the list.
