We went here for our anniversary yesterday. We had a couples bath and couples swedish massage. The entire place is quite cozy looking and the arrangement for couples bath and massage were nice. The ambiance is relaxing and they have generic calming music playing trhoughout that makes u wanna relax completely. The masseuse who attended to me was nice and respected my boundaries while listening to my requitements. It was very relaxing and I actually fell asleep once. The only thing that was disappointing was the little mouse we encountered at the end of our experience. We notified the frint desk immedietely. The masseuses apologised for that and later on they emailed me apologising for that again. They were very nice about that and my experience other than the mouse was really good, we left a little tip for the masseuses. Hopefully they will get the mouse problem fixed soon.

This is such a sweet little spot. I have a really bad back pain/strain and thought I'd try this place e out. The receptionist was super kind. The place is so cozy and honey. It's clean but honestly could use some minor updates. I went downstairs to wait for my masseuse in a relaxing wait room. Cecile was great and asked me where I was having the pain etc. I got a therapeutic half hour massage. Cecile took time with me and really worked the area I said I was having trouble with. That was great. I have had a few massages and sometimes the masseuse doesn't take my comments/ noted problem areas into consideration. Cecile did! Super great spot. Can't wait to go back

I liked my time at Espace Nomad a lot…read more The place is on a nice corner of St. Laurent, and the large windows capture every bit of light they can, giving the place an airy feeling. A cafe to your left when you walk in has absolutely delicious espresso drinks, smoothies and - to my surprise - a scrumptious chai tea (I'm not usually a huge fan of chai blends, but this one was GOOD). I love the packages, and was able to get a prenatal massage and a pregnancy-safe pedicure. Both practitioners/techs were incredibly sweet, warm, welcoming and nurturing. The pillows they have for pregnant people make it possible to lay comfortably on your stomach. The massage itself was very light, and since I get regular massages back home, I know it is possible to be with-child and still get a little more pressure, but that is alright: it was still a very relaxing, welcome experience. The pedicurist was so fun to talk to and did a fantastic job of smoothing out my feet and making them sparkle. I would absolutely recommend and will return. I think the prices are very fair as well.

The place has a nice bohemian vibe. I had a 90 min Thai massage with oil and it definitely wasn't the best one I had. I Felt like my masseuse didn't have much experience and wasn't very present ( I have had many massages so I can tell). I would have liked to give them a 4 star but it was far from a 4 star. I still gave her a nice tip even though I didn't really enjoy my massage... If I were to go back, I would try someone else and a different type of massage. Glad I can cross this place off the list.

Everyone loves a good spa day.. but how about a spa day on a boat? Yep.. head to Bota Bota! They…read moreare known for their water circuit and spa treatments, and the location and views are beautiful. The water circuit consists of a three step process that will promote relaxation and wellness. First, begin with either a hot sauna or steam bath, this helps improve circulation and promote detoxification. Next you transition to a cold plunge, to help boost some of those good endorphins and reduce inflammation. Next you want to relax. They have a bunch of areas to chill out and lounge around. The resting is important as it helps your body stabilize. Once you've rested, repeat! Or if you're like us.. go back to your favorite spots. After a couple cycles, we had appointments for some spa treatments. I got lymphatic drainage, which was SO relaxing, and Caleb got a deep tissue massage. This was the perfect add on! The one recommendation I do have, is before having a spa treatment, go change out of your wet bathing suit and into something dry. Putting on a wet cold bathing suit after a relaxing massage was... unpleasant. My own fault! Bring a book and sit on the decks to soak up the sun and enjoy your relaxation steps. The facility is well maintained and clean, and the changing rooms are great. We truly enjoyed this experience and it was such a unique thing to do in Montreal. They also have a selection of bathing suits in case you decide last minute to add this on to your itinerary. Highly recommend! Lentz_explore

The fact that this spa is on a boat and half of it was outdoors was the appeal! So we booked just the water circuit (no extras, just saunas, steam rooms and hot tubs) to see if this was even something we'd like. Turns out the December visit was the way to go! It wasn't packed at all, and turns out that sitting in a hot tub while the snow falls on your face is actually a top ten life experience. It was cold as heck out, mind you, but somehow you never feel chilly when you're going in and out of saunas and hot tubs. I did wish some of the relaxation rooms were a bit warmer, or there was an ability to swap out a soaking towel at some point, but I was never uncomfortable. Everything was clean and people around us were respectful. I loved the no phone policy and definitely chilled out to staring into this strangely brutalist bay. David Lynch relaxation vibes. The best was the floor where you could sit in a porthole window -- only wish we had discovered it earlier! I would totally come back here and check out some of their other offerings. Dunno, might even aim for a winter trip again because it was just that nice!
