    The spa

The highlight of our trip to Montreal! This spa is on a boat and offers beautiful views of the city. It's extremely clean and we had such a relaxing day. Upon checking in, you're given a robe, towel, and wrist band which is also your locker key. No phones are permitted in the spa areas. I saw some reviews criticize this, but it was nice to unplug! I enjoyed the steam room and sauna, but we spent most of our day relaxing by the pool. It's a lovely outdoor space (and there's a bar right next to the pool). I had a refreshing mocktail that tasted similar to a Moscow mule. Only thing that was a bummer is that you can't enjoy your drinks in the pool. I'd absolutely come back if I found myself in Montreal again. Massages and facial treatments have to be booked in advance, so I'd love to do that next time!

Went on a Thursday night when talking and pictures were permitted. Next time I will Pick a silent night lol. The boat and view was beautiful. Many different stations & circuits for relaxing but couldn't with so many couples making out and talking. Went there with my daughter for a girls night. The restaurant is beautiful but the waitresses looked stressed out and were banging the dishes loudly when tables were cleaned. The shower area at the bottom deck a bit tight. Next time I will try their massage and facial treatments.

Great place to relax and get a good massage and facial, which is what my daughter and I did! She's been living in Montreal with her husband for over six years and we decided to do a goodbye tour of Montreal before she left this month. This place has a nice sanctuary, one in which there is no talking aloud and they do enforce that, which is actually quite nice to be able to relax without someone talking in the background! The only drawback is they kind of hurry you around they say after the massage and facial that you can take your time, but they really do come back within the next three or four minutes and see if you're ready to leave; but other than that, it is a relaxing experience! The other disappointment is that their bathrooms are kind of lacking as far as needing updating , the floors were not as clean as I would've liked, lockers were old and rusty, showers were not as clean as they could be. There are no towels in the bathroom area. No bathroom attendance like in other spas that I've been at. You have to go two flights to the upstairs to get another towel for showers, etc., they give you one when you come in but if you need anything for your hair or extra towels because yours has dropped, you have to go all the way upstairs to the reception area/public area to get another towel. It is kind of pricey, but one of those celebration type of indulgences! We also ate there in which the food was excellent! Would return again next time I'm in Montreal

Came here because of a tip from a friend. This place is fantastic and reasonably priced considering the experience - one downside is there is no parking (mysterious lot near it but not for guests). I love that it's quiet on the actual boat (if you wanna chat you can go to the garden section) and that there is no photography (so no dumb influencer photo shoots or ig/tik tok thots). I came alone and on a week day later in the day so it wasn't crowded and was really able to relax and enjoy myself. Would definitely come back again and would like to try the food next times

Bota Bota was one of the coolest and most unique spa experiences I've ever had! I would come back here in a heartbeat. My husband and I splurged on the Calypso package. We both signed up for a 60 minute massage (and were upgraded to 90 minutes for no extra charge!) and received a chef's tasting lunch. After lunch, we enjoyed the water circuit and soaked up every second. Although there were quite a few people there, it never felt chaotic. We really enjoyed bouncing from the sauna to the pool. Would 10000% recommend this spa to anyone visiting Montreal!

10/10 experience. Make sure to spend the 3 hours relaxing! Most of the indoor spaces are quiet and silence (and they mean it!) but there are plenty of places to enjoy company and relax whether you're solo or with a group. Would go back.

Great first experience with my fiance. Probably the best day spa we have been to. Felt more like an experience than a spa. Highly recommend!

She was tough in the areas that needed it and released some of the tension I was feeling. It's a cute, small "spa" in the old port. The Hot Stone was soothing and relaxing. 60 minutes would have been too short, 90 minutes is just the perfect amount of time for it. During the facial, the aesthetician dedicated good part of the time taking out some of the blackheads on my face. After the facial, my skin felt plump and glowing. I was accompanying 2 other female guests, and as a guy, I felt quite awkward entering the salon but thought I would just look around to enable me to write about this new business. Awkward is probably an understatement. May be I just did not want to be caught in a pedicure chair. Is this a guy thing or what? Never felt so welcome and they utterly convinced me that I should have a pedicure which I graciously accepted. "I am embarrassed and should have cut my toe nails" I said. "Oh don't worry " was the reply. "in fact, it's better that you don't, as we will get your nails clipped, shaped and polished the professional way." Feeling awkward being a guy going in for a pedicure? Let me tell you that I was so wrong! So very wrong. Their motto is "we've got the highest hygiene standards in the beauty biz." Just a note that we have worked for a hygiene business for over 20 years and I can assure you that they take hygiene very seriously. Pedicure is about having healthy feet. It's a pleasure that everyone should experience. Life is meant to be fun. If you fancy indulgence then let your subconscious guide you, and The Ten Spot will have your feet scrubbed until they are soft. Any gunk hiding between your toe nails and skin will get painless removed. Your feet will be scoured with special soap and scrubbing salt until they reach a level of softness that you didn't know existed. The gentle foot massage improves circulation in your feet and stimulates the blood circulation and rejuvenates your entire body. Finally, the lotion on the feet, ankles and heals just buffs away the dead and dry peely skin. The place is ultra clean, bright and inviting. This is indeed a business that focuses on customer satisfaction, and leaving you feeling totally pampered. Guys, go for it. Your feet will thank you.
