I liked my time at Espace Nomad a lot. The place is on a nice corner of St. Laurent, and the large windows capture every bit of light they can, giving the place an airy feeling. A cafe to your left when you walk in has absolutely delicious espresso drinks, smoothies and - to my surprise - a scrumptious chai tea (I'm not usually a huge fan of chai blends, but this one was GOOD). I love the packages, and was able to get a prenatal massage and a pregnancy-safe pedicure. Both practitioners/techs were incredibly sweet, warm, welcoming and nurturing. The pillows they have for pregnant people make it possible to lay comfortably on your stomach. The massage itself was very light, and since I get regular massages back home, I know it is possible to be with-child and still get a little more pressure, but that is alright: it was still a very relaxing, welcome experience. The pedicurist was so fun to talk to and did a fantastic job of smoothing out my feet and making them sparkle. I would absolutely recommend and will return. I think the prices are very fair as well. read more

I had this place in mind for a long time given the great reviews and was finally able to make it. They cancelled my appointment when they re-opened due to a booking mistake and offered me 25% off on my next massage- nice gesture on their end. The place has a nice bohemian vibe. I had a 90 min Thai massage with oil and it definitely wasn't the best one I had. I Felt like my masseuse didn't have much experience and wasn't very present ( I have had many massages so I can tell). I would have liked to give them a 4 star but it was far from a 4 star. I still gave her a nice tip even though I didn't really enjoy my massage... If I were to go back, I would try someone else and a different type of massage. Glad I can cross this place off the list. read more

Such a warm welcome from the staff. This spa has such a beautiful ambiance with lovely plants, windows and lights. When you enter they have a ton of products on open shelves which they are selling and also a food/smoothie bar. The spa itself is quite large and on multiple floors. The waiting area was beautifully set up. They are respecting covid-19 guidelines with hand sanitizer at your disposal, cleaning products, a clean/dirty section. Thoroughly impressed with the team and would return. They have promotions/specials on certain services. If you answer a questionnaire at the end of your treatment, you may receive a smoothie of the day. Its a small portion but a perfect treat after your treatment. read more

I was there a little over a week ago to get my manicure done. Loved that they were able to accommodate in such a short notice (within an hour). I loved that this place offered one of those non-toxic nail polish brands (forgot the name) and Shaina was absolutely wonderful and friendly. Not only she was great with what she did, she also recommended me places to visit while in Montreal. They had quite an interesting tea collection from Pukka (pretty great brand that I love). Shaina was really taking her time and the chair was quite comfortable that I almost fell asleep. I loved the lounge area as well, it was really relaxing and pretty quiet. I would definitely come back next time I'm in town. The juices/smoothies there were really tasty and refreshing. They charged for the jar deposit for only 50 cents (cheaper than in Cali!) read more

From the outside this place looks small but once you arrive there are multiple floors and the layout is warm, cozy, bohemian, and zen. I enjoyed the waiting areas where they have tea and adult coloring books. I did have difficulty figuring out how their hot water dispenser worked and there were no instructions (had to flag someone down). The therapists I saw were professional and passionate about their work. I really felt like I received a quality massage and the areas that needed work were attended to. I tried reflexology here once and I found it to be a bit overkill to have someone massage my feet for an entire hour. Plus, I think I might have detoxed too much as I was lethargic afterwards and my feet were tingling for days. If you know what you're getting into that's a different story but I was definitely off a few days afterwards (perhaps some good "detoxing" was happening but still it threw me off) I found it extremely odd that there was no hot towel wipe down at the end of the massage. Each time I've been here I had to go straight home to take a shower. It would be nice if they offered this service at the end of the massage so I don't feel like I have lotions all over me. read more

The aesthetic and the layout of the space is gorgeous. They have a juice bar (and swings!) as well as a nice selection of products for sale. It looks like a really small space but the inside is big and multi-tiered. The massage I had was okay - not incredible but it was nice. The infratherapy wasn't really what I was expecting. Based on their online descriptions I thought it would be a different type of experience but it was kind of like a general cellulite treatment. Not worth the $$ in my opinion, and I wish that they had been a little bit more clear about what was included in that service. read more

I visited Espace during a recent weekend trip to Montreal. I had done a great deal of walking around town so I was in need of a good massage to treat my sore feet, legs, and back. Upon arrival I was greeted by a wonderful, friendly staff. I was told to wait in a cute and quiet area until my massage. I was then taken downstairs to a massage room and that's when it went downhill. The room was extremely cold. The chair was heated so I asked to increase the temp but it only helped the area touching the chair. When the sheet was lowered to work on a part of my body, I was left freezing. Also, the room was located directly underneath a stair case so I could hear the constant creaking of people walking back and forth above me which made it incredibly difficult to relax. The massage was pretty awful. I ordered a Swedish massage and at the last minute requested 20 minutes be dedicated to a reflexology massage. The Swedish massage was nothing more than long strokes of her applying lotion. I understand it's meant to be relaxing but at no point did she massage me. When it came to the reflexology, she admitted she wasn't certified, but I get it done in nails salons every other week so didn't think it would be an issue. She proceeded to just give my legs the same Swedish massage she gave my back. What I needed was her to really massage my legs and release the soreness and tension in them. As a customer I thought it would be rude to say "you're not massaging me right," You're really limited to telling people about pressure not technique so I wasn't sure how to relay this to her without admitting she was doing an awful job. I lied to her and the receptionist about how good the massage was and even tipped her (she was very kind and I felt she should be paid for her services) but I would never, ever go back there again. I got the sense she was super green and didn't know what she was doing. I've never experienced such an ineffective massage like that before and now I'm forced to shell out money for another massage as the first one had zero impact on my body. read more

I recently scheduled 90 minute massages for myself and two friends while on a girl's trip to Montreal visiting from NYC I found the spa doing research online and liked that it seemed more casual and laid back then some of the other spas like Bota Bota. Since one of the girls I was traveling with was pregnant, it wasn't important to us to go to a spa with the baths since she couldn't utilize them. The spa is located in the Mont-Royal area which is a very cute area of Montreal. The decor of the spa was really pretty and it was a very pleasant experience in the waiting room. I really enjoyed my massage and wish it could've been longer. The spa also accepts Spafinder gift cards which is nice. After the spa treatments, we were able to continue walking down the road to many other tourist attractions like the Mural festival and the famous Schwartz's deli. read more

Woow this place is AMAZINGGGG ! Location is on st laurent very easy street parking with the meters. The place is very chic and has a nature garden feel. I originally planned to have a 90 minute massage for the same price as a 60minutes but I screwed up and was not able to get there at 10am exact so i told them not to worry and just give me 60minutes. They said no we can totally give you 90 minutes but it just didnt feel right. I ended up with an amazing masseuse ! His name is Charles woow he was AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING !!! No other words can describe how AMAZING HE WAS! He really knew every pressure point on my body and used a reiki technique with energy healing ! Price was so cheap around 97$ tax included for 60minutes massage or 90minutes special for the same price. Too bad I couldn't stay longer to take that sweet offer. The offer is valid before 12pm I believe. Overall, price service and quality of the massage were top notch and will definitely be back 100% positive ! I think ill schedule my next appointment within the next week it was that amazing! I highly recommend this place !!! Xo read more

Espace Nomad - Inside is bright and welcoming. - Massage Near Me - Montreal, Quebec

I had been looking for somewhere relaxing and not too expensive near me, and Espace Nomad was suggested by a friend. I had a 90 minute Swedish Massage for the price of 60 ($85) and it was wonderful. I told the masseuse where my problem areas were - my right shoulder had been really bad after an illness - and she worked out knots so tough that I could hear them. Repeatedly, she asked about pressure and made sure I was comfortable, she also made sure that I was able to move around without exposing myself which is sometimes a worry when you're getting a massage! The place itself was clean, calm, relaxing and stylish. Afterwards, I sat in the aftercare area, had a tea, and let myself recover from the massage. I felt serene, like you do after a really good massage, which must mean it was really good! There are a number of treatments available, so I am pretty sure I will be returning soon read more

Had absolutely the best massage of my life with Yesibell. The perfect amount of pressure, attention to problem areas, and a wonderful head massage which included hair pulling. She also did my mani/pedi as part of the Supergirl package. The juice and chia pudding snack was also lovely. Overall I was pleased with my nails. I don't typically enjoy pedicures but I did like this one. My only complaint was that she was a little aggressive with my cuticles. Would definitely go back for a massage. read more

Very good place for a relaxing day of me time, that's right you deserve it! What I like about this place is that the massages are great but the overall experience is sooooo calming that even the type A personalities (I may acually be a double A), can relax. The setting is very pretty with nice soft lighting and amazing smells, they also are very and I do mean very selective about the products they use and how they are made, often using exotic scents and oils, which leaves you feeling like you were away on some vacation away from the cold and harsh reality. They are quite peace and love so they can find some magical elixir that will cure what ailes you, in a very organic, homepathic kinda a way. If you can try there combo messages for couples, and here is a tip they do a lot of corporate functions, so maybe you should tell your boss, and have them come to where you work, it may not increase productivity on the day of, but it will show how appreciated everyone is, and I guarantee that will bring results read more

I've been here a couple of times and have thoroughly enjoyed the massages. It's a small and cozy spa, with great employees who are eager to fix you up and make you feel brand new. The ambiance is very relaxing, and that says a lot coming from me since half the time I can't relax until the massage is over. I got a manicure once and it was.... average. However, the massages have been great and modestly priced. For 90 minutes, you can get a full body massage for 100$. It's so worth it. If you're going with your significant other, or a friend, you can share a room as well. read more

I have been a customer for over 10 years and have seen how this facility keeps improving and growing yet never loses its peaceful and calm nature. I love going here for the ambience and the therapists that are working here. I have had a variety of massage styles and I am always very satisfied. When finished with the massage I love to just sit and drink the water or tea they offer and just reset my mind to a happy peaceful place. The facility has expanded and there is a wonderful feel to the layout now. It feels like a wonderland to explore and the rooms are all perfectly appointed and just cozy. Combine that with the high talent of the therapists and you are in massage heaven! The spa also has some wonderful juices available for purchase. They are created by the team at the spa and they taste fantastic! Make sure you try one at your next visit! read more

Been here twice. First was a duo with my BFF and second for a Juara massage with Stéphanie. Both times were wonderful, and the Juara massage in particular. That was neverending goodness! The spa is such a peaceful, nice place, and bigger than it looks. Definitely hipster bougie but pleasant all the same. They have a small cafe and boutique in the locale. Definitely looking forward to coming back. read more

This place is really wonderful, it was my first spa/massage experience and i have no complaints. The atmosphere of the spa is it exactly what you're looking for on a bone chilling Montreal winter day when all you need is a warm, comfortable relaxing few hours. The dim lights, soothing music and refreshments around every corner with comfy little nooks to rest yourself really envelope the whole character if the place. There is a student discount every Thursday along with other fabulous deals! I gifted my boyfriend a couples massage fir his birthday, (which is definitely a wonderful gift option) and it was fabulous. Everyone was extremely attentive and the massage therapists knew exactly what they were doing. Cant wait to return read more

I had a great massage here with Cecile. I had a lot of tension in my back, and she really fixed it. They have a great deal where the massage is 90 minutes, but you pay for 60 minutes before 12pm on weekdays. A nice space. I would come back. read more

The place is soooooo nice. The decor, the ambiance, the space itself make you relax. I've got the Indonesian package: facial, body scrub and massage. I can't say I got the best massage ever but it was good. The scrub was very interesting. The facial that was offered with the package didn't include extractions...that was a it disappointed I don't think this information was very clear on the website. It was still a good facial and I love the fact that they use natural products. They offered me a snack and a tea after all. I lounged in the beautiful rest area. Every body who works there is so nice and attentive. I would definitely go back to that spa. read more

I came for a visit to this spa while visiting Montreal and enjoyed myself. The ambiance is quaint, with a warm feel. The staff were polite and very friendly, but did not blow me away. I started the afternoon with a body scrub and facial, followed by a massage. The scrub was ok, but could have been more complete - when I got home I noticed patches on my legs and sides that were clearly missed by the therapist. Next was my facial - also done by the same therapist - probably the best facial I've ever had! My skin felt soft, fresh and renewed. No lingering greasiness and the perfect amount of moisture. To top it off, the skin in my face felt tighter and completely rejuvenated. Last was my massage - sadly, nothing to write home about. The massage therapist was a male, which didn't bother me, but I was expecting more of a massage-type treatment, instead of simple mobilizations of my joints and energy / breath work and a very light petting type massage. I wish he had gotten into my muscles more - even after asking for more pressure, the therapist continued his routine. The treatment was relaxing, but could have been more therapeutic. All in all an ok visit to a cute spa. read more

This place is wonderful. We arrived early because of rain. We were welcomed to sit in the waiting room, which is a peaceful comfy space. Honestly, I had reservations about my husband's recent neck surgery and my weight. But these two ladies were very professionally assuring. My massage therapist, Josie, was amazing!! I highly recommend Espace Nomad. read more

Great ambiance. Friendly staff. Huge place, so many rooms. I loved that they let you chill in one of their nooks after the massage. You get to sip on tea, read a magazine & enjoy the zen. Only 2 problems I had was how cold the room was. We were placed at the bottom basement floor and even though the bed was heated a bit, it was cold!!! This is Montreal winter that we went. Even the masseuse's hands were cold. Along with that, the building is old so you hear the footsteps above you and hear muffled conversations throughout the walls. Now that I know this, maybe I'll try them in the summer. read more

There are only a handful of times when you get a massage that actually relaxes you. This past Friday morning, 26Nov2016, Ireceived that massage. The first relaxing massage in my life, honestly! This was the highlight of our day. We went to get a couple's massage and were totally blown away! I have had Swedish massages before and they have hurt more than anything and I couldn't relax from it. But Mariel took her time, made sure what I wanted is what she provided.... Just to relax. I got a 90min full body Swedish massage that was tailored just for me! I can't remember the name of my wife's masseuse but apparently she was awesome as well. We will definitely be returning customers, advocates, and promoters for Spa Espace Nomad! Thanks to the staff for such a wonderful and fun experience and thanks to the awesome masseuses for an enjoyable massage and for helping us actually relax! read more

Went for a massage here twice (second time to see if it got better).. The place is nice and convenient to get to from where I live (Mile End). People are super friendly. However both times - the massages were average at best - its more like they are brushing your hair than giving you a massage. No pressure / no skills. I will definitely not return here again. read more

Amazing massage and back exfoliation. Great location, zen vibe, very clean.Cannot wait to go back.

Show up early for your appointment so you can drink tea and take in the peaceful bohemian atmosphere of this place. Very nice location, big comfy couches. Tea, Books and colouring! Espace nomad is such an amazing place to relax and unwind. My bf and I came to Montreal for a mini get away from Toronto and I decided to take us on a couples' massage. When I walked inside, I noticed how clean and serene the place is. The receptionist then took us inside, and I was amazed as how quaint and charming the place looked. I remember my bf and I look around and was very impressed with how they styled and decorated the place. After filling up the forms, we were then introduced to our masseuse. We were led to a room downstairs. Our masseuse made sure that we were okay and they weren't hurting us in any way. They've also asked us what specific part of our body did we want the to focus on. After this, they started our massage and it was HEAVENLY. I have never felt so relaxed! My bf who's never had a massage before enjoyed himself as well, and said that he felt great after the massage! All in all, we had an amazing experience as espace nomad and will definitely go back here next time we are in Montreal!!!! Thanks espace nomad! read more

Took reservation last minute. Requested deep tissue and did not receive such. Masseuse was friendly. Front staff was not. Nice atmosphere.

This place was very relaxing and quiet. My husband said it was one of the best massages that he has ever had. I am picky and like deep tissue, and I would say the therapists here are more about relaxation and swedish massage. But, this place was nice, and since we were there earlier in the day, we got 90 minute massages for the price of 60, which was pretty kewl! Staff was very friendly and ambience was nice. read more
