Never had one problem at all at the salon. Today I had an absolute awful experience. I don't know if Linh is not experienced in Gel-X fill (she didn't even clean underneath my fingernails at all and they came out all lumpy) or she just had a bad day. Automatically she was in a bad mood the minute I sat in her chair. She had on a "stank" face and the way she spoke to me was extremely rude (what did IIIIIIII do to you??). No big deal I thought, everyone has a bad day! But then she proceeded to do my nails and literally made almost every single one of my fingers bleed! Like blood was coming out! Coming to the salon should be relaxing, but she made me stress out so much that my hands started shaking! Couldn't enjoy the pedicure that I was getting done at the same time at all!!!! I'm including a picture, and mind you that's after cleaning up all the blood. And it's only my left hand, my right one is worse!!! I had initially been referred to Bliss Nails on Fletcher Parkway at Jackson Drive. However, when I went there on a Tuesday with a 2:00 pm appointment, it was jammed and the sour man at the door did not make a good impression. Accordingly, I walked out on that day. That brings me to the Nail Studio of San Carlos. It is located directly next to a Starbucks Coffee House I like to visit. One day as I was leaving Starbucks, I looked up and noticed the nail Studio San Carlos. I had a walk in pedicure and everything was perfect. I have since become a regular at the Nail Studio of San Carlos. My technician is Wendy ("Hang") and she is wonderful. Very efficient, and she does a perfect job on both my manicures and pedicures. In addition, Kevin, at the door on the weekends, offers a very gracious welcome. Be sure to pay your respects to the statues of the two gods placed on a lower shelf on the little table to the left of the check-in desk!

If the salon is going to increase prices or promote upgraded services, the quality and attention to detail need to match.
