I came here on a whim, someone had mentioned this place had inexpensive gel manicures of good quality. I came in this morning and was directed to the wall with all the gel manicures. I like it when the nail polishes are painted on nail samples (vs just looking at the color in the bottle), but thats OK. This was by far the WORST nail salon experience I have ever had and if I could post this review without leaving a star I would. 1) When we entered the salon, I asked if there was availability for two pedicures and we were immediately seated in the pedicure chairs where the water was luke warm at best and we sat for over an hour waiting for service. I understand that the salon may be busy but the staff at the front desk should have communicated that they did not have availability at the moment instead of seating us only to sit there for an extended period of time with no service and no update as to when someone would be assisting us. We waited for so long that the jets in the bowl kept shutting off and I had to ask a tech that was working on someone else to turn them back on, and I had to remove my feet from the water because they were so pruney from just sitting there. 2) Once someone finally started on my pedicure, she got up 3-4 times to do other things and I was left waiting for an additional period of time. Also, she kept asking me to put my feet back in the water and I had to explain to her that I did not want to soak my feet any longer as my feet had already gotten so pruney and uncomfortable. 3) I was here with my fiancé and they started his pedicure first. He had to ask them if someone was going to assist me and they stated that someone would be over as soon as they were done polishing another customer. He ended up finishing way before I did (duh) and ended up leaving to go to the store because he was left just waiting for me. Why not start mine first since I was getting polish and would have to sit under the dryer? Also, the wife of one of the employees was just hanging out in one of the pedicure chairs and my fiancé's tech told him the reason she couldn't help was because she didn't work there. 4) A new tech came into the salon during my service and my tech stopped in the middle of doing my pedicure to assist her with getting set up. She then kept stopping to answer all of the new techs questions (I actually felt pretty bad for the new tech). Rather than have the new tech shadow someone or have her come in before they opened to show her the process, they just stuck her with a customer and she had a lot of questions and needed help. 5) COVID protocol is practically nonexistent. They have little plastic barriers up but they sat my fiancé and I in two seats that had a barrier between them but then sat another customer in a seat next to my fiancé that did not have a barrier. It would have made more sense to put the two of us next to each other without the barrier since we came from the same household. read more

I stopped in early Saturday morning and was accommodated within 10 minutes. The staff here and especially the owner are super nice. This is one of the best manicures I've gotten because they use this electronic shaping tool to ensure my nail shape and my nail bed are perfectly smooth. They are very efficient with their time. My friend recommended me to come here. I got a fill in and a spa pedicure. When I walked in everything seemed fairly clean and the place had no one in it. I requested for rose and she did my spa pedicure. I felt that the spa pedicure was outrageously expensive for how short a "spa pedicure" was. It felt that they just scrubbed the bottoms of my feet and just put lotion on my legs. Then when getting my fill in the girl was extremely rough on my nails that it actually hurt at some parts. I did like how my nails came out though. I gave this place a 2/5 because if they should spend some more time on their customers. read more

I scheduled an appointment for this morning at 9 when I got there one lady was there already working two others came in and said they had z9 am appointments also still no staff in at 915 they start strolling in the owner or manager took the two girls that walked in after me and got them started the person who was going to do me still wasn't even in the building so they sit you in and let your feet soak and say 5 min well that was bull shit . I got very annoyed for being so disrespected I got up and left I told the owner my time is just as important at is .in business your word should mean something if you can't keep your word your business will fail . Do he lost money today money as a regular client from me my two daughters and mother and niece . After being a customer for about eight years Rose moved and the new staff is no good. I gave it a fair shot I got my nails done twice and I got a gel pedicure. My nails were very sloppy and rushed and they weren't correctly shaped. My pedicure wasn't terrible but for the price of a gel pedicure it could've been way better. Then when I was paying with my debit card as I was writing in the tip amount on the receipt they were pressuring me to tip in cash and it felt very uncomfortable and I literally asked them to stop and said I would tip in cash in the future however... WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I went in for a manicure and a pedicure which I had booked 3 weeks prior. There was absolutely NO COVID safty measurements put in place. I sat down for my manicure & there was stuff there from the previous customer. The girl doing my manicure and pedicure made zero effort to let feet or hands soak in order to soften skin to clean them up. Not to mention that the water was ICE COLD, after mentioning something it was MAYBE raised to luke warm which was also changed with an attitude. My entire manicure process was less then 5 mins and I was told that I had to clean under my own nails and scrub them in the sink????? Everything was so rushed and unprofessional, the hot towels were cold, all my nails had bubbles in them, my toe nail had a brush particle in it that she sealed with top coat, the list is endless. I was so fed up with the whole experience I just didn't even care to say anything anymore I just wanted to be done with it and leave. I voiced my concerns to the owner prior to leaving and there wasn't much of a reaction, I didn't challenge it because I didn't want to cause a scene. Oh and the best part is the owner tried to make me download Venmo so that I could pay that way, constantly trying to sway me into paying for the service that I didn't even think deserved to be paid for. So i called to voice my concern and explain that I was very unhappy with the service and it was one of the worst experiences and he just brushed it off, not giving the slightest care in the world. This was my first manicure in a year and it's so sad to say this was the experience I had. LASTLY, I noticed that the management copies and pastes the same exact responses to people who have left reviews. I would actually appreciate a real response. read more

Last minute decision as my regular pedicurist had no availability. Yelp had this as 4 stars so why not give it a try. Clearly everyone who rated has never had the pleasure of a good pedicure. I asked what a Spa Pedicure entailed and Rose doesn't speak English well enough to explain. She just kept telling me the difference in price. I explained several times I didn't want her to cut my nails. Just file them. Again,very hard for her to understand. I should never have to show you how to get rid of dead skin. $20. wasted. Rose was in a rush to take care of her regular clients who she greeted. I have never had such a rushed pedicure in all of my life. Save your money and go visit Manuela at Princess Nails in Union or Mercedes at Star Nails in Union. I basically paid $20 for a soak because I waited 30 minutes after calling this morning and making an appointment and soaked while waiting. I went in because it was close to my house and I wanted to try them out. I have never hated a salon experience so much in my life. The guy who greeted me (we will say "greeted" for this review) took me to his station and began what I thought was the worst experience I've eve had in a nail salon. I went to pick my color and he yelled at me, rushing me (I literally took about 2 minutes IF that). When I sat down, I told him the shape and length I wanted and that I didn't want pink gel. He used the clear gel, so I thought we were off to a decent start. Not only was he so rough with my hands that I had to jerk them away several times, but he yelled at me when he started shaping them into a square. I kindly reminded him that I asked for round and he accuses me of lying and explains how much more work he has to do now that he has to change the shape. Really??? So after he huffs and puffs and is grinding my cuticles down with this black filer, he finally gets one of his coworkers to take his place. Thank God. She was very nice and very gentle. I can't remember her name but you'll know who it is if you go in because she is the only one in there that will pay attention to you. She did a great job and as she was painting my nails the gray color I asked for, she persisted to tell me how ugly the color was and that no one gets that color "in this season"... Um... What? I shrugged it off, hoping she was just one of those people who didn't have tact. Then she went on to talk about the almond shape I asked for and how for some reason everyone wants it now because people that ask for that shape are "boring". Yep. Those were her words. Really??? Again, I shrugged it off--counting down the strokes of the polish to dry so I could run out of there. THEN if that wasn't uncomfortable enough, she told me she remembered me because of my bad eyebrows. Ok, I admit, I'm letting them grow out and they may look a little rough but you don't SAY THAT to a customer! For a gel set and polish it was $50. I tipped and ran out of there like it was on fire. Never again. Ever. I've never been treated so rudely at any salon in my life and will discourage anyone I know from going there. Too bad, because she really did a good job but I don't feel like being treated like a POS for an hour while I get lectured on my "mistakes, nail color and eyebrow shape".. ugh. read more

cons : I went one time. I got a pedicure and a set of acrylic nails with gel polish. I got "coffin" shape with matte top coat. The shape was sloppy and not consistent. Could've been better. Pedicure was also rushed and mediocre. Staff was friendly but obviously not well trained. I only went due to the wonderful reviews. After one week 2 nails started to lift. I've never had this problem before. they were also unorganized with their appointments. An older lady came in and they didn't even have her appointment written down. I had made an appointment and still had to wait an hour. pros : the place was very clean and comfortable. Staff was very nice and were talkative, which I like. I asked for short, almond-shaped tips the second I sat down - I left with square nails that are way too long and aren't uniform length because the manicurist didn't listen. And didn't listen when I tried to explain the problem. I have cuts on THREE fingers and my hands hurt from how rough he was the entire time. There is nail polish all over my fingers because I was screamed at when I went to go wash my hands. He kept trying to move my hands in ways they just don't move and ignored me every time I said "that hurts" or "ow." I get my nails done pretty regularly and decided to try a new place. I won't be doing that again. Horrible overall experience and a horrible environment to the place. I have never had a less relaxing manicure in my life. I had to say one of the worst regular manicures I have ever had. my cuticles were not removed had to ask him to go back no hand massage had two other girls with me who had acrylic sets done next day 3 nails Popped off sent her back they charged her 20$ . Be caution about this place. The guy that owns it does a horrible job on nails. Everytime he did my nails, my fingers would bleed and burn for days. Once he used a pointed drill fill under my nail and literally ripped the top of my nail from my skin. He is very rough. He does a horrible job. If you talk to him or ask him any questions while working, he will ignore you. The ladies do a better job. Also, be specific when telling them what you want, i went in for a acrylic fill in which is $16 and they tried using more expensive pink acrylic powder on me so they can surprise me with the bill. This place is horrible. I have been a faithful customer for over 10 years until the old owners left and moved to Arizona. The new owners are horrible. I had to instruct the manicurist how to shape and file my toes. Then I had to ask for a foot rest to place my foot when she was scrubbing the bottom of my feet. She didn't place my feet into my sandals when it was time to paint my toes. Nor did she turn on the dryer for my toes. Horrible customer service. I WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE AGAIN. As I type this, there are only 3 customers here. I am really upset that Rose is gone. She was such a gem. Very professional and she took care of her customers. This place is horrible. Don't waste your time or money. Oh yeah. If you want to use OPI nail polish, that will cost you an additional $4. Unbelievable. read more

This place was awful. I had an appointment for a gel mani & regular pedi. For some reason they had 4 different people work on my nails. The first person who worked on my pedi was really nice & I thought she did a great job. Apparently the second person, who just needed to paint my toes, didnt think she did a good job because she continued to cut my cuticles & then made me bleed. She started to paint my toes as it was bleeding. She kept blotting it and putting chemicals on it to try to get it to stop but it wasn't stopping and it was painful because she kept touching it. Finally asked her to take all of the polish off of my toes & she said that she'd make it stop. I had to tell her about five times to take the polish off the rest of my toes. They gave me $5 off & I left. My foot didn't stop gushing blood for over an hour. I tried to go back but they were already closed. So I went back the next day to get a full refund. After arguing with the owner, who told me it was my fault, he finally agreed to give me my money back so that I wouldn't cause a scene in front of the other customers. Never going back. read more
