I loved this place until they started charging me different prices every time I went in! For a gel manicure...first $25 then $29 then back to $25 and THEN today, $39. She had to think about it for literally 10 seconds and sized me up first. If you go here, just make sure you ask about the price first instead of after they finish the job! I was scared only because I've had bad experiences going to new places, but being away from San Diego I had no choice. Luckily, they were awesome! I let them know when doing my nails I want short and round he acknowledged he went to apply color without rounding he said he would after color then when finished I asked again about round he said no this looks better, they were rushing due to closing and I wasnt going to argue... The only reason I went to this place is because I had a broken nail and was in Hanford for business so I stopped in and got the worst service the short male there's two males in there the little short one is the one that did my broken nail he didn't even use the drill, he did not drill around my cuticles nothing.. he tried to just file it.. it was all uneven and lumpy and when I told him that it looked horrible it didn't look anything like my other nails he started talking in his language to the other male, the tall one.. After having an awful experience at the mall, I decided to give this place a try and regret it. I can in for a manicure with normal polish. Once she finish partially filing down my nails, she started punching my hands and arms. As soon as she finished with that, she jumped up and demanded I must pay at that exact moment which was a bit odd to me. But, I agreed. We felt very uncomfortable leaving a tip without any work being done, but I did. Fast forward to when she is finished, she filed my nails uneven!! It's a half done job. Why can't I find a decent nail place that takes walk ins in Hanford? If I would have known my nails would have been done horribly, I wouldn't have tipped as much as I did. I went to this place on Wednesday for a gel manicure and the manicurist cut a lot of my skin around my nails along with my cuticles! The blood and my wincing didn't deter her. I usually never have problems with their pedicures but this time you could tell my lady did not want to be there. She was very quick with everything, didn't even massage my legs, and you could tell she was just trying to get done quick so she could go home. She also didn't use the spacers to separate the toes so there was polish all on the sides of my toes. I also witnessed another lady use a filer on my friends toes then go and use the same one on a different clients hands lol. If I could give no stars I would. Came in Nov 15 to get a gel pedicure and already had regular nail polish yet they used the filing pen to take off regular nail polish. He then used the tool to push the cuticles back. He pushed them back then used it to scrap under my nail. He had no idea what he was doing at all! He started using the nail filer on top of my nails and on my foot. He didn't clean or have clean tools at all. Thus I got an infection on my toe. Never go here!! read more

To sum it up: VERY SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES. I wanted a gel mani/pedi for my friend and me. On their services menu a mani/pedi is $31. Gel finish is listed for $5. When it comes time to pay I ask how much it will be. She says "$120". WTF?! I then ask her to break down that total and she says "$30 for the mani/pedi, $15 extra for gel on hands, $15 extra for gel on feet" (x2 since I paid for my friend). When I asked why it says $5 on their menu she says "Oh, that's just for a gel finish on acrylics." Even though I was pretty mad about having to pay that ridiculous amount for a mediocre experience I paid, tipped, and went about the rest of my day. That night I had a soccer game. During the game I felt what I thought was a pebble rolling around the inside of my shoe. After the game I removed my shoes to find that not only 1, but 3, of the gel polishes had come completely off of my nails! Really?! I've gotten gel nails several times and that has never happened. The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is because they fixed them the following day without charge which is lucky for them since I would've flipped my lid had they tried to charge me. read more

I went there because 2 of my clients spoke very highly of them 2 people in particular but no one in there seem to understand English and as soon as I sat down the woman doing my nails and 3 or four men's sitting around me all started speaking in whatever language, not english and I think that was very rude not one of them spoke English to each other the whole time I was there I went in for a gel polish only I asked that she covered the full nail from side to side and top to bottom she didn't. I have been going to this place on and off for the past five years and I have to say that the quality has really gone down. I notice that proper asepsis technique was no being utilized and quality has gone down. It seems they are worried more about quality over quantity. One of the nail technicians hurt me last time and that is pretty rare for me. I could see the technician was rushing and he did not care about the risk nor about the client he was servicing which was myself. A a licensed provider, being reckless and gossiping with his coworkers or yelling over his shoulder in a different language while doing my nails. Another technician came and took the selection chart right out of my hands while I was trying to choose a color. I verbalized for her to give it back to me and I also had to be very assertive with her. It was super weird though. Do they not want the consumer's money so that their business can thrive? Do they prefer us not to come back? I found it unprofessional; it wasn't culturally sensitive to gossip in your home language in front of guests who are paying you money for a service and who cannot understand what you are saying. It is extremely rude. As a paying customer I should have been accommodated to and treated like my money going into their business mattered and that their attentiveness and quality of care was appreciate, Very bad business. I'm not going back. I can do better. They aren't any cheaper than any other place. I just stopped in, because I wanted to be seen that day and I know they would get me in because they do not honor appointments. The more they can pack in to one day the better; however quality over quantity is where I'm at in life. Keep an eye on the tools they use and make sure to ask if everything has been cleaned and sterilized appropriately. Worst pedicure ever, paid for the deluxe with gel nails. I didn't get what I paid for in any way. Fast and poor quality. I have gel on my cuticles and skin. The ladies next to me had the same thing done, were started before me and I was out of there before They were. When you pay for a deluxe you should get a deluxe. First time here and I had a great experience! I didn't have an appointment and was seen right away. They weren't busy but it was steady so they must be good. I had been to this place before to have a pedicure for my college graduation. It was my first pedicure and it seems reasonable for the service I received. There are no prices so they can easily adjust to what they want to charge for each service. It started when the manicurist said "watching" when she meant for me to go wash my hands at the sink at the back of the store. She spoke with such an accent and when I finally got up to wash my hands when I realized what she was saying, she said something in Chinese to her coworker and they both had a good laugh at my expense. Ladies, what you put out to others, it will come back to you!!! She also seemed to be talking about me in Chinese to her coworker again because I changed my mind from French tipped gel nails to just plain clear gel nails. When she started to put the white paint one my nail it seemed cheap and globby. She was rude, wasn't friendly, nor made any attempt to provide pleasant customer service. I left no tip, which is a rarity for me. It's fine that other customers leave 5 star reviews, but, I, however, would not go back. I will make my next pedicure appointment with a spa in town with a true cosmetologist that appreciates customers. I was hoping to have a great and relaxing experience when I went to get my pedicure. Oh was I wrong. This was my first time visiting this particular nail "spa" and boy did they leave an impression in a not so great way. They started off by being very rough when I told the person doing my nails that it hurt he proceeded to ignore me. The result was he ended up cutting the side of my toe and boy did it bleed. Instead of saying he was sorry he laughed it off. Then I paid for a foot treatment which I have had in other nail spas and this was no treatment . Got my eyebrows done here last year and was disappointed. Decided to give it another try today. Got a Pedicure with paraffin wax for $33. Pedicure was not the best and the lady doing my pedicure kept trying to convince me to get gel nails which was $15 more I told her no & she said "why?" It was very annoying. I wish there was a way to do 0 or negative amount of stars. I've been here a few times with my mom for pedis and never had a 'terrible' experience until today when I went solo. The gentleman tells me to go sit at number 6. Ok. Thats fine. Until nobody comes up to me for almost 5 minutes and then when she does, doesn't even say hi. Has a resting bitch face like no other. I'm always polite and say yes please, and thank you. The older lady doing my pedi seemed to not know what to do. She was usinf dofferent tools than anybody else and then filed each nail on the top (which is fine) but then didn't buff it out. When it was time for the parrafin she basicallu pulled my foot and dunked it right into the hot wax (which I usually don't mind but slower is nicer and not so rude). After my massage she then washed it all off..unsure why. Then I just wanted a simple french (for which you spend $5 extra on) and lord knows my 6 year old could have done a better job. The polish was all caked up, especially since she didnt buff out the nails. I didn't notice how terrible they were until after I left and got in the car. Spent $38 for the worst pedicure in my life. So now I'm at Fargo Nail (which I shouldnt have come to in the beginning) spending even more money to get them fixed. read more

Got a Gel pedi and my already existing full set of nails reshaped and new gel polish yesterday, took my shoe off today and one entire toe nail is blank . I have never gotten gel polish and it come off without me going to a nail shop and getting it removed. But after getting a pedi here where the massage was rushed and not good an entire nail is missing it's polish. Now for my nails, they are very nicely shaped but he did not remove all of the old polish on the tips of my nails and you can now see red polish on the tips of a few nails when all of my nails are supposed to be solid gold. The man also left small blank spots on the sides of some nails. At the very end I went to pay and the woman tried to charge me $75 when i know the pedicure was $43 and the nails $25 which is $68 in total. I did not leave them a tip. Okay, so I read some of the reviews on here and have to say, I have never encountered these problems and will address them in this review. I have been going to the Spa Nails for 3-4 years now with my mother, sister, and grandma at least once a month for pedicures and manicures. The staff has always been friendly to us and we have never had problems. As for being rough...you're getting a massage, it's meant to stimulate your blood flow and get rid of your tension. If you didn't have a bruise, they did their job as they should. I love going here because they are not afraid to be rough. Second they are great at taking care of your nails, if it hurt, maybe you had an ingrown toenail they decided to remove for you...which would cause you to bleed. I have had plenty of those removed from here and even took my boyfriend here for one and he enjoyed it not only for the relief of pain, but the experience in general. We are going back this week! Also, if you have a smudge, all you have to do is ask them to fix it and they will, they know it happens. You have to speak up and let them know what you want and they will honor that. Lastly, the review about the employee trying to get a date...when a person like me has been going there for a long time, if they sound like personal questions, you might want to consider that they may know the girl. I have a good relationship with all of the employees and have never felt like I was getting hit on or being pushed around. Overall, this is a wonderful place to come to get you manicure and pedicure needs. They offer other services, but I only use those two. So they say that there is a first time for everything. Well i decided that i wanted to get my nails done for the first time. i always see my friends with long fake nails and they kind of look pretty. I didn't even know what to get done or where to go. My friend recommended to go to Hanford where she gets her nails. She helped me choose the design.i had to put my name on a list, there was no one else waiting so we taught we would go next. Well we taught wrong! another lady walked in. she ask if they would take walk ins. I actually went to get my nails done on July 4, 2016 and the guy there was really rude i did not even get a chance to take my time to pick what kind of nails i wanted. Plus he did not even asked me how short or long i wanted my nails he just did them how he wanted. Then when it came to picking the color i wanted he did a sloppy job it looks like a kindergartens kids job. I even think my daughter would have done a better job than he did. Second pedicure I have ever had in my life and I have a 6 year old grand daughter so that tells you I am not young.. And just might be my very last.. Worst experience ever. The most pain I have had since child birth and I am not kidding. My daughter uses these people and asked me to go with her and her daughter for her birthday gift. I agreed and wish I had not.."
