This is one of those places where everyone knows your name. I first came to this spot right after Covid when you didn't know if anyone was open or who was taking a risk with people. I appreciated that this place took the risk and still served the public. For that reason I remembered them and came back today. My visit this time was for a gel manicure. I wanted a change of pace so I drove south to Visalia this time around. The place itself has a home feeling and the hospitality is incredible. My nails are cutesy and the amount of time spent with cleaning cuticles, filing, polishing, and massaging was stellar. I never felt like they just wanted to rush me out the door. They take full pride in their work and I am amazed that nail salons still offer services like Diamond does. Brianna was my gal today and she is funny and sweet. It's worth the drive honestly. First time stopping in after hearing they were known for great service and cleanliness, and they absolutely lived up to the hype. I got the Royal Pedicure and skipped the callus removal, so they kindly deducted $5 and gave me extra massage time instead, which I loved. They have great massage chairs too! Hanh (pronounced "Hon," like Han Solo ) did my pedicure and was so friendly, professional, and attentive. The whole salon had a welcoming vibe and everyone communicated really well. They quoted me a short wait and I was seated in about 15 minutes, even with only three technicians working and all of them busy. I went on a Sunday just before noon and had a great experience overall. Definitely worth the visit! read more

I highly recommended this salon! I didn't have an appointment but they sat me right away. I needed to remove my acrylic overlay and we decided to do a gel manicure. Tom was the guy who helped me and he was so gentle and efficient. I had my 3 year old son with me and Tom grabbed him a chair so he can sit next to me. I decided to try one more time to find a better place before buying my own nail equipment myself, and Diamond Nails did not disappoint. From initial contact on the phone to schedule my appointment, to walking out of the salon, the experience was wonderful! Tom is a very polite and kind person, and Tina was sweet as well. Tom have you thee best manicure (gel) I've ever had on my life! My cuticles were cut to perfection, and the polish was so smooth that even my husband mentioned "that they looked flawless" Tina gave me an excellent pedicure (gel) as well, I felt completely relaxed and the scrub that she used smelled amazing. I moved to Visalia about 10 months ago. I've tried four other salons and have always been disappointed with the service. Requested a classic mani pedi. The end result was sloppy. Nail technicians were too laid back and not professional. The technician who worked on my nails seemed untrained and unskilled. The nails were unevenly cut and filed that resulted in jagged edges. The nail polish was applied unevenly and does not cover the entire surface of the nails. The technicians working that day spoke their native language to each other the entire time I was there. They'd glance over at each other and laugh. At one point, the man working on my nails could not contain his laughter all while staring at me. I don't understand their language so I didn't know what he was laughing at. That made me feel uncomfortable. Although I felt as if they were laughing at me, I decided not to say anything because I didn't want to stir up trouble. In the end, I did not receive the service I expected nor the service I was charged for. I'll never go back. read more

Came here with my mom for a 9:30 am Friday manicure and pedicure appointment. This is a small family owned shop. It was getting busy as early as 11 am. Definitely recommend making an appointment - a few of the walk ins had to come at a later time. Brianna did my nails and they turned out great! I'm super picky and they were nicely done. Lynn did my mother's nails as they turned out well too. Also great customer service. Everyone in the shop is warm and friendly. So, I've been to most places around Visalia and this is the first one that I've come out of without an injury. Other nail places I've been to are disorganized, have very few people who can speak decent English, and I always end up bleeding!! But not here!! This place is so clean and organized that I was so happy to walk in and sit down. There are only two people working here, but they are so good at what they do that you'll be happy you waited for your turn. She also speaks good English and can do what you ask for. This isn't a good place to get your nails done. The technician did them crooked, when I told her they were crooked she refused to fix them. Instead filing them down more and more. My cuticles are dry and my fingers hurt to put pressure on them. I called back to try and get them fixed, they refused to even take a second look at my nails. This isn't the worst place I've been too, but it's certainly not worth anyone's time or money. read more
