Needed last minute pampering and saw the good reviews for this spot & thought I'd just walk-in to see if they could fit me in. There were 3 technicians, 3 customers in chairs and 1 waiting; I was seated in less than 15 mins. The staff was friendly and I was delighted that all Gel colors were available as a regular option, which broadens their palette then most salons... I opted for the Classic Mani/Pedi ($48) + Callus Removal $7. The tech took her time, but, unfortunately, I felt she was NOT cleaning as much as I like. Same for the callus removal and yes, I asked her multiple times to where I was just ok just let her finish. She did a good paint job on my toes. However, a different tech colored my digits and let's just I removed polish 2 days later... That's my 2 cents; sorry for the essay QUICK BACKGROUND: I have been getting my nails done since the 90s. Acrylic, silk, etc. and stopped before the gel craze and stuck to plain ol' mani/pedi due to psoriasis. So, I know my nails can be a challenge, but I've had plenty techs tackle without difficulties or pain...
Gentleman didn't have such a great attitude from the beginning, did a good job though. The woman was wonderful to me and most importantly my 4 year old. Pedicure from her was great the entire time. I'll be back of course :)
I have been going here for years. I love Tracy and her family very much. I'm always satisfied when I leave. I love my nails and I get so many compliments from strangers. My whole family comes here for their nail services. It's best to make an appointment, as it is a small, family owned business. It's a smaller space, but the pedicure chairs are less than a year old. I remember when they got them! Overall, I love this place even more than I did after my first review and I highly recommend them.
I went in for a full set and experience was mediocre not good or bad just meh the workers were nice enough even though they mutter things under their breath and my nail lady put all of the wrong tip sizes on my nails because she said i had big fingers but it doesn't matter like she didn't ask me my opinion idc if my fingers are big i would've said to make them actual tip size so they actually fit, i can literally see my real nail poking out of both sides of every one probably won't come again but that's also due to the fact that i got them done on the 15 it's the 22nd and two of them broke already like i paid $65 i want to get my moneys worth and that means them lasting minimum of two weeks and now i feel inclined to take the rest off bc the set looks dumb with two nails half broken they came out really nice just the rest ruined it for me personally
Likes: 1) Cleanliness. Dislikes make the cleanliness factor nonexistent IMO Dislikes: 1) The chairs were honestly not comfy. He moved me up so close it was kind of unbearable. 2) I did NOT like how he used the cuticle remover/clippers to get rid of some of my dead skin on my heel and foot, it didn't feel great as he used it to scrape skin off rather than like cut it off I GUESS. It should have been scrubbed off with a pumice . It was actually uncomfortable the longer it went on. 3) The scrub was meh on my legs, he was too gentle which is different from every other place I've ever been too, that isn't going to get any dead skin off and he only scrubbed each leg for a minute (timed on a timer on my phone) 4) He started to do lotion, just placed it on my legs really it and wrapped a towel over each leg, very weird, and no massage until after the white part of the French was done and again it was so gentle my cat would have done a better job and it was 30 seconds the first leg and the second was 2 minutes, then back to the first for 43 more seconds. This was so bad I wish I didn't have to time the massage, but it kept getting worse as it went on 5) He dilated the polish in from of me... 6) I also did NOT care for their prices. Mainly because of how bad the pedicure was. 7) Holy crap how can such a hot mess of a pedicure take so long. It was almost an hour and a half not including the wait time. I'm normally in and out in 45 minutes including dry time. 8) I asked for a french pedicure and he didn't even do the pink color after the white tips, just a clear coat. That's an American pedicure, I asked for the pink and he said normally people don't want that and tried to look for something they probably don't even have. He also did 2 coats of the clear which at this point is stupid, I just want to leave. 8) EXTREMELY rude when I pointed out all the issues when asking for a revised payment. One of the ladies also tried to place hands on me to remove polish while standing at the front trying to pay for services I actually received. Overall I asked for the angel pedicure and it was suppose to be better than a classic pedi with callus remover and exfoliation. I would have done a better job at home in my bathtub. He barley scrubbed my legs with the scrub and the "callus remover" was using a cuticle removed to scrape off dead skin, which he didn't even get most off. He was so gentle with the scrub and when he did use the pumice stone that was also gentle it was non existent. I wrote this review in real time as it was happening. I left ZERO tip and WILL NOT be returning, I didn't even want to pay it was so bad, so I asked politely to only pay for the basic pedicure because that's what the results showed I got. They got extremely rude and upset and started to yell. I pointed out the dead skin and he offered to cut it off. Im sorry it should have been exfoliated off with the pumice stone. God I wish I took videos. This was the WORST pedicure I've ever had. Do NOT go here. UPDATE: Their response proves the lack of understanding of the issue I had. I understand the Original costs. I simply asked to pay for what I received which was not a French, it was an American so 1/4 my toe painted with white polish and no pink on the rest and a top coat. That's not worth $7 more if anything it's worth less because my whole toe(s) weren't even painted. They did not meet that by the crappy pedicure and horrible service. This place is a nightmare. Do not go there. I didn't even get a French I got an American which isn't what I asked for. And upon asking they couldn't find the color needed. Just horrible customer service. When I spoke up about the pink I got "well everyone doesn't want the pink" then maybe ask before assuming what we want. I'm sorry but I shouldn't have to ask to remove dead skin that should be removed with the service. And when I did speak up the lady and the guy who worked here made me feel like it was my fault for asking for service. 0 stars.
I came here for a full on my acrylic nails a month or two ago. I was impressed with their time to detail! They found that the last place I went did not do a very good job and kept me fixed up for June and July. When I was ready to take off the acrylics, they were pros! I had them remove my acrylics and Tract suggested a powder dip with gel polish over that until they grow out. I am very happy with them! I have found a new nail home!
DONT GO HERE!!! Well I was going to write a neutral review but I can't do that without sugar coating it . It hasn't even been a few hours and a nail broke .... I thought this place would be good considering the reviews but maybe it was just people being nice . Their set up is disappointing, they do bare minimum and subpar work with attitude when asked to correct mistakes they use excuses and throw a fit .They prioritize regular customers and appointments over walk-ins but not in a good way .I called prior to see if they had time for 2 sets and 2 pedicures just to find out they did they just didn't want to . I guess you get a cheap job for cheap prices , I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK HERE !!! On top of that they had the same 5min classical music video on LOOP for the entire time I was there (2 1/2 hours).... My nails paint job is half assed and they practically rushed us out . I left with glue & nail polish on my hands ... This place is a waste of money!
Had a wonderful pedicure here yesterday! Both my husband and I got deluxe pedicures (I think they call them luxury on the menu). My reluctant husband had never had a pedicure before, and he left telling me that he wants to come to all of my appointments! I chose gel polish (the best for toes, in my opinion) and they had OPI for a $2 upcharge. I went with it and loved my color. Great service, clean shop, I'll definitely be back! I love that they also have 2 kids chairs so the little ones can be pampered too!
This was my first time going to Nail Time and I'm glad I tried it out. Tracy was very nice and explained what she was doing. I liked that she was extra careful with my left pinky that had a cut near the cuticle. This was my first time getting the dip powder I usually get gel, but I'm glad I tried the powder I liked the results a lot. Will go back again soon.
I'm happy with my nails! I decided to do just color and not manicure, thought it was so nice they offer that option. I also did pedicure and gel on my toes and those look great too. I think they did a great job and got me in and out in about an hour. No complaints!

(Used to do acrylics at a different salon and my nails are so week that they would still break) This my most recent dip powder mani from Nail Time and I love it! These are my natural nails! She always prioritizes nail health and is very skilled at what she does. I will never go anywhere else!
FAVORITE NAIL PLACE!! I come all the way over from Tulare to this nail salon. They are always so sweet and have great customer service. They all know how to do nails and they take there time to perfect the shape and color your going for!! They have a two week warrant which is so convenient and just goes to show that the care about their clients. Inside is nice and clean. They recently updated the inside.

I've never had such a terrible experience. My daughter and I went in for a basic fill and color change. The nail techs destroyed our nails, exposing the sensitive skin under my daughter's nails. I had to stop my nail tech after she caked my nail in acrylic powder and proceeded to say she couldn't make the VERY bulky nail any thinner, stating it's on you if they break. At this time we walked out and went to another nail salon, who were shocked at how bad the condition of our nails were. read more

Update: Tracy (owner) contacted me right away and offered to fix my daughters nails and did an amazing job. She was very nice with her and wasn't rude to us when I took her in to get fixed. This will continue to be our "go to" Staff is always friendly and nice. My go to for pedi because service is good and price is decent. Only giving it 3 stars because this last time I took my daughters and we all got pedi and I ended up get mani as well but asked for gel nails. My daughters also got gel nails and theirs didn't last 24 hours. read more

If in a pinch this salon will do but I wouldn't recommend for regular services. Took a long time for a regular mani/pedi and polish was uneven. The tech kept aggressively moving my feet and hands. It was uncomfortable. read more
WOW...It is rare that I am impressed and RELAXED while getting my nails done. I always have anxiety due to the rushed, harsh treatment at nail salons. I came in at 7pm to see if they would take me for a full set and pedi. Two hours later ( with no waiting) at 9pm I had the prettiest nails and the most gentle treatment! Tommy and Tracy are the owners, and they "tag-teamed" my fingers and toes, with exceptional quality and care. No short cuts at all This sweet couple stay open 7 days a week and they are determined to earn your business! They've earned mine . read more

Staff is friendly, polite and I felt very comfy as a first time walk in. I got full gel almond tip nails as my first set and then tried the dip fill at the next walk in appt (just do it, it's so good). I haven't had my nails done in 4 years and wasn't sure where to go. Plus, my cuticles were in BAAAD condition (I'm a picker and nails are the only solution) but after extensive review searching online I decided to pop to this spa. Very happy I did! Tracy was very gentle at both appts and took her time on my nails. Would highly recommend and will def be going back! read more
I love this place. I think I have tried almost every salon in Visalia and this is the only place I'll get my gel mani. I like this place because my polish does not chip. The nail polish doesn't look thick. I can drag it out to three weeks if I would like. The tech shapes the nails nice and even. read more

The salon wasn't busy on a Monday, mid-day. I got a gel manicure and I am very happy with my service, the lady at station 1 was friendly and took her time being careful.It had been a long time since I've gotten one and she cleaned up all my dry cuticles and the gel polish came out even and smooth. read more

So impressed! Before coming to Nail Time I went to another salon and had a dip manicure done. My nails were destroyed...the dip was cracking, breaking and coming off my nails within a few days after getting it done. A friend told me that Nail Time was the place to go, and to see Tracy. I made an appointment with Tracy and she fixed everything. She filed my nails to the length I like, shaped them and took her time making sure the edges were perfect as smooth. I am so happy with the service and the prices. I will be back for sure! read more

They did an amazing job on my pedicure and manicure. Very gentle and detailed. They are very friendly and easy going and create a welcoming and relaxed environment. The paint had chipped on one of my nails and I came back in and they took care of it, no problem. And he even made sure that all of the nail colors still matched with the additional paint layer on the one that needed to be fixed. Love coming to this nail salon and will definitely come back. read more

I love this nail salon! Ask for Tracy! This is my go-to nail salon when I'm back home in Visalia. Tracy always does my nails and she does a great job. She always takes her time and makes sure your nails look perfect. Prices are very reasonable too. Definitely recommend! read more

It always a nice time when you go and get your nails time especially when you're a mom, wife and working. I surely didn't expect to be at the salon for 3 hours. No one was there when I arrived and only one other person showed up to get a fill. I got a pedicure (basic) and got a full set (acrylic) I spent the 1st 15 minutes of my time there having the gal at the first desk talk me out of what I wanted, not only that but I couldn't understand what she was saying. My nails look terrible after 1 week exactly. read more

If I could select zero stars, that's what it would be as soon as I went in, they were relentlessly asking if I wanted gel or acrylic and I told them I wanted acrylic specifically seven times and they still tried to convince me saying that gel would be faster and I had to keep saying no because I knew what I wanted. After that they were a little bit rude because they didn't do what they wanted, though. They didn't cut my cuticles. They didn't cut my nails. They only filed the top of my nails, so the falsie could stick. They didn't check to see if any of my nails were even so they're really crooked especially when you compare my hands. They didn't evenly coat my nails and polishing, some nails look darker and chunkier than others, and there's a lot of bumps from them, not allowing the polish to dry correctly. When I was getting my nails done, I was talking to the workers and they said that there are only three of them there at all times, I'm only mentioning that because the male that did my nails had got interrupted by one of his female coworkers -she was rushing him to finish because she wanted to go home- and she did a horrible job painting my nails. He did an OK job on the shape but I would not recommend going here unless you like supporting small businesses. Nobody there can actually do proper nails or treatment. & I almost forgot, they had the audacityyy to charge me 68$. I think they gave me the gel price although I specifically asked for acrylic multiple times. read more
