She cut my hair much shorter than what I had asked for and didn't look much like what I had asked for. At the end she didn't even hand me a mirror so I could see the cut all around, specifically the back. She charged me $60 (plus tip) and it wasn't worth it. When I got home, I noticed that on the left side there were areas that some hair was longer than others. On top of the terrible hair cut, the lady that cut my hair and another employee were laughing at some clients comments she had made about herself and the other employee went on to criticize a client that she was waiting for. I had been a loyal customer for years when Nina owned the salon, but I will never return under the new management. From the moment I called to make an appointment, I should have take that as the first red flag. The female employee taking the call struggled to understand what I was saying, even after I repeated myself several times. She never even asked for my name before "scheduling" the appointment and told me she'd be doing my nails in replace of Nina. The male technician who sits at the front right of the salon at table #8 was extremely rough with both my child and me. While doing my child's nails, he made several of her fingers bleed and then aggressively pressed oil into the cuts instead of acknowledging what happened. She was in pain the entire time she said. When he did my fill, the experience only got worse. He repeatedly drilled and filed into my skin and underneath my nails, put his long fake finger nail into my cuticles multiple times breaking the acrylic from my skin, gripped my hands and fingers painfully tight, and constantly jerked and pulled my hands around. He also couldn't understand what I was asking for, which led to an argument with another employee before he literally yanked my hand away from her. By the time I left, my fingers, hands, nail beds, and even my joints were aching from how rough he had been. My child and I sat in the car afterward and cried. I've never left a nail appointment feeling scared, sore, and upset before. It was an awful experience, and we will never return or recommend this salon to anyone. If you choose to go here, I would strongly advise avoiding the male technician who sits at the front of the salon at table #8.
