I walked in and they gave me an appointment for the next day, before going to the appointment I sent several pics of the haircut I wanted. I get there and show her the pics again. She cut my hair much shorter than what I had asked for and didn't look much like what I had asked for. At the end she didn't even hand me a mirror so I could see the cut all around, specifically the back. She charged me $60 (plus tip) and it wasn't worth it. When I got home, I noticed that on the left side there were areas that some hair was longer than others. On top of the terrible hair cut, the lady that cut my hair and another employee were laughing at some clients comments she had made about herself and the other employee went on to criticize a client that she was waiting for. The both chitchatted like it was a normal thing to do. I found that disrespectful so that's another good reason not to ever go back, not that I would. read more

I love this salon, I've been coming here for 25 years, Anisabel has always taken good care of me and all my family and friends that I have sent her way! They do it all from nails to haircuts to color to waxing and hairdos for all your special occasions. All the staff are great!! read more

This place is usually great. I have an awesome chick I go to for my hair and an awesome chick for my waxing and facials. On point. But talk about all the others being rude ! Walk in and say hello and rude b #1 looks right at me makes a stank face and turns back to who she was talking To. Not even a hello ! Welcome to our shop. Her name was mikayala I believe not sure if I spelt that right. Rude! I'm sorry but if you work in a salon atmosphere you represent that salon. If someone walks in one of those girls in there should be saying hello good morning your hairdresser will be with you shortly I knew I wasn't there to see them I already had my appointment with my other lady good Lord though. She gave me the worst stank face in the world she's lucky I didn't go over there and slap that look right off her ! Great hire with Her! Lol not . read more

I was a bridesmaid and needed an updo for the wedding. I went to see Amanda and she did an absolutely beautiful job. I was nervous because I live in Fresno and had never been to the salon before, but based on my experience, would absolutely recommend Amanda. The salon is also a nice environment. If I am ever back in the area and need my hair done this is definitely where I will be going. read more

I love this salon! I recently moved to San Diego and I would consider flying in to get my hair done if it weren't for the fact that I have to get my hair done every 6 weeks. Christy has been my stylist for years and although, not purposely, I have placed many challenges in front of her and she has superceded every one! I came in with black long hair, then change to red hair with bangs, then went back to black, then to blonde, then to ombré, back to blonde, then decided on an A-line. Not only has she managed NOT to fry it off, she has done an amazing job! Mary has been amazing as well. Mary stepped in for Christy when she was on maternity leave and I never had any doubt that Mary would do a fabulous job. Prices are great as well. I'm paying San Diego prices and now I am even more thankful of Beleza's services. Love and miss them so much! read more

Have I ever had black dye in my hair, have I bleached it..or used box dye in my hair..etc. he wanted to know if he was working with a blank slate, or if there were any precautions he needed to take. I had never had anyone ever ask me about my hair history. I was impressed. Juan has not disappointed me, and continues to do any amazing job. Once I was briefly separated from my daughter, the technician approached her privately and tried to recruit her into what can only be described as a pyramid scheme. My daughter is a beautiful, innocent young woman, and she was completely unprepared to handle that kind of pressure. As a parent, I felt deeply uncomfortable -- the situation had undertones that were not only predatory but alarmingly close to what I would associate with grooming or trafficking tactics. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable, unprofessional, and dangerous. Needless to say, we will *not* be returning, and I strongly urge others -- especially those bringing young women -- to exercise extreme caution. If management is unaware of this behavior, I hope this serves as a wake-up call. And if they *are* aware, then this place has no business operating.

The woman doing the waxing had me in so much pain I had to ask her to twice Stop and I finally told her I didn't want her to finish. She apologized and got another woman to finish. The other woman Apologized profusely and finished the job. My skin was red and blistered, two days later my skin started peeling in a very sensitive area. This will definitely be the Last time I ever visit this place.

Took my daughter in to get her septum pierced. We were told that they had no jewelry & would need…read moreto go down the street to the smoke shop to get her jewelry. Being new to piercings we were not properly knowledgeable that this is not suitable for new piercings! Surgical Steel is a must & properly sterilization done! NEVER WILL RELY ON SOMEONE OTHER THAN YOURSELF FOR PROPER KNOWLEDGE!! All these guys were out for was a quick $30! Didn't catch the gals name who did the piercing, but she was incredibly fidgety even DROPPED the jewelry proceeded to pick it up without changing gloves & goes to pierce! I know better than that at least so I made a comment & she removed her gloves used alcohol to "sterilize" the jewelry. My gut is screaming at me by this point but my daughter was giving me the death stare to not embarrass her. She ended up piercing her after 3 attempts!! & does it crooked! We paid & promptly left in hopes that all turns out well! HAHAHA NOPE!! My daughter has followed the cleaning instructions to a T & that's the only thing that has saved her from her septum rotting away!

Wonderful service Mickela did my hair cut and it was just what I wanted. I have been to the same hair dresser for 10 years and would trust that women with my life. I have recently moved and the drive was to far to go to my old hair dresser. After long debate I decided that I needed to get my hair cut, then choosing the place and the person was the next hardest step. This place is way cheaper than what I am used to back in my old town and equal if not better service. I come from Southern CA so when I say these women know what they are doing I mean it. First time going to Beleza and it was such a great place! A big salon with friendly faces and very friendly stylists, and it appears the salon stays busy with very happy customers! I've was going to Whitney for a long time until she moved locations, and just recently had her correct a bad cut that I got from a different salon(bad idea btw, stick with Beleza! ) and I can't explain how amazing Whitney was at fixing it!
