Wanted to try something different Kiwi Nail & Spa was nice. It wasn't busy at all as it was a week day. I prefer these days as they take their time on your nails and toes ( no rush) and I chose the mani and pedi w/ gel combo. It was $85 ( gel is an additional $13 extra) overall the quality and service qas great! I had Eden and he was very thorough. The last place I went to the guy was going at it on my cuticle and it hurt, but he was gentle and nice! The place is spacious and very clean. A plus is ive never seen a salon do Cat eye nail polish and they had tons here! read more

Both walks in and appointments are welcome. This place was booming when I walked in. Fast service from start to finish. The workers took their time and did a great job! Completed exactly what I asked for. On Sundays they offer mimosas. Other refreshments are offered on regular days as well. With good quality comes expensive prices! Worth it, if it makes you feel good! read more

NOT SANITARY(used the same clippers and cuticle clipper on me and other client) AND SCAMMERS. Man owner said gel pedicure would be $43 and the menu said $45 which was fine. But the total at the kiosk at the end came out to $68! And I had tipped $10 cash to the tech before I went to the kiosk. The owner ignored me when I asked about price difference and just kept saying "cash or card". Maybe a language barrier but why own a business in Tulare CA if you can't speak fluent English??? Also my gel was rushed and uneven read more

This place is amazing and cheap for all the stuff you get compared to other places, it's only $60 for what I got which was the Volcano which I loved very much, you would definitely like this if you can handle hot stuff. And the vibe here is very chill they have massage chairs and music I love it here and will be coming back again. read more

My friend and I came in for services and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. One of the employees was extremely rude, and when she did my friend's acrylic toes, they were noticeably crooked. We brought it to her attention, but she refused to fix them. Overall, the customer service and quality of the work were very disappointing. read more

HATED my nails. i always just get a natural coat. Every single time i go in there and that grouchy man does my nails they come out horrific. I've had my nails done for 1 week and 4 of my nails have popped off already. Never wanted to be the person to not ask for a specific individual but i will now. 65 dollars for a basic fill is embarrassing read more

I needed a quick fill in for my acrylics and I called Kiwi Nails and Spa to ask if I could get a fill during my lunch break from work. Ken did an amazing and efficient job on my fill. I was in and out in 30 mins. My fill with design cost $50 plus tip It was very convenient that you can tip on your credit card read more

1) They do not offer mimosa as they advertise on the window. 2) I had an appointment at 1030 I had to wait about ten minutes because they were full. There was no sanitation to the table and equipment after the person who was in front of me was finished. 3) The nail tech made me bleed, not just once but on three nails. I had my nails done in the morning and it is still hurting two days later. 4) When I was bleeding the nail tech didn't wipe it up or anything he continued to do my nails as if nothing happened aside from turning down the speed of the nail buffer. 5) The only way he "cleaned" my nails was brushing my nails (without wiping the blood off) with a big brush. 6) When he was finished, he said OK I am done and he told the next person to sit down. No sanitation, I did not see any Barbicide nor did he tell me to wash my hands. He didn't wash his hands either. 7) So here I am paying with buffed nail material all over my hands. He charged me $63.00, which I believe included his tip. I just gave him $70 and walked out of the door with my hands feeling grimy. I went in my car and cleaned my hands with wipes and hand sanitizer. 8) The only reason I am giving them two stars is because my nails look nice. I do not recommend going back there unless you have a place where you can wash your hands and maybe go to another nail tech. They have talent but sanitation and gentleness with nails do hold high expectations. read more

The service was great, super nice people. Very good quality. It's clean, comfortable, and very appealing.

Tried this spot for the first time since it's closer to me than my usual spot & didn't feel like driving across town.went in for a pedi & very soon realized they put me with a beginner .she was barley taking any cuticle off cut my toenails crooked I obviously complained then another lady took over . she started painting my toes a completely different color then what I asked for & I had to complain again. Therefore they had someone else take over she was doing a decent job till she wasn't. she then started all over on my nails I was there for at least 2 hours ! Definitely wasn't worth what I paid read more

Came into the salon six days ago and the gel polish is still fresh. My biggest pet peeve is when the gel chips or slides off. I loved how quiet and clean it was. The owner was attentive and nice. Offered everyone waters. Glad I changed up the location, Kim's nails is always jam packed and never take walk in immediately. read more

Very nice staff and clean. Like most places in town, this place gets full quick. They do tailor to all your needs and just be patient with some of the language barriers. An update to my second visit to this salon. One day after the pedicure, one of my toes cuticle was hurting and red. I put alcohol on it. By day two it was still hurting, red and swollen. The nail tech was rude, unprofessional and didn't do a good job. I will not return. Not worth it at all. read more

Obsessed with my nails. I was so impressed Kim's skills and attention to detail. Another technician had given me tips with builder gel and I thought it looked decent- my natural nails were super short so I was just happy having a bit of length. But when Kim took over and perfected the shape, WOAH. I never knew builder gel tips could look so sleek and natural. She was so meticulous and gave me exactly what I wanted. Thank you so much Kim!!! read more

A year ago I would've given this spa a 4 to 5 star review, but the last several months, both the service and atmosphere has changed. I've noticed the workers are rude, and spend most of their time bashing the customers instead of servicing their requests. In addition, the only concern they seem to have is wanting a tip and how much are you going to leave them. A tip is something you earned and not a requirement from the customer. Disappointed by the quality of service and the mediocre results. read more

Took my wife and daughter for a pampering moment. My daughter was attended by Lisa while my wife was attended by another provider. Wife had a good experience whereas my daughter had nothing positive to say about Lisa's customer service. She was talked down to and treated as if she was doing us a favor. My daughter mentioned Lisa became friendly near the moment they were close to wrapping up. I'm sure as it was near the moment she was expecting a tip. Glad she did not get one. Lisa, you got some explaining to do!!! read more

Went to get my nails done and I'm extremely dissatisfied in the service. I asked for a fill and when I walked in the person at the front nail desk was asleep and no one greeted me u til he woke up and urgently told me to sit down. There was little to no talking involved and he asked me if I wanted them shorter and I said "a little bit" and without even asking me, cut more than half of the nail off. He then asked me if I know what color I wanted and I said "no" because they did not give me any books or colors to look at which I had told him he had not showed me any colors. He then hands me 1 book out of the multiple stacks and hands it to me and tells me to choose making me feel like I had no time. I asked if there was any more colors because the colors he showed me was not what I was looking for and he said "no". I then pointed out to the other books and he rolled his eyes and got me a book and then a ring of colors (which still were not all the option) which led to me having to pick a color that I settled with because he wouldn't show me other colors. The entire appointment he didn't talk and he was coughing and hacking in my face the whole time. He did have a mask on but did not turn away so the entire appointment was loud sounds, a rude nail tech, and a manicure I'm left unhappy with... safe to say I'll just stick with Kim's nails read more

At first I was happy with the service here especially the receptionist he is great however I had my nails done and two days later a nail chipped not a problem until I went back to get it fixed there was a worker who is pregnant she was super rude I waited over 30 min to be helped and then once called to fix my nail she was rough with me and on her phone as if I was inconveniencing her. Needed a pedicure for a good 2 weeks already. I've been meaning to try this new spot since I seen the great work they did on someones manicure. Side note- Did you know they offer mimosas? As soon as we walked in they offered water and other beverages. Very much appreciated in this hot weather. They got us sitting right away and had about 10 employees for all of the pedicures chairs. I didn't have time for the manicure but I'll be sure to head back when I'm ready. The pedicure was gentle and the massage was nice too. I love the atmosphere and can't wait to give them my business again. read more

This salon is clean and busy and they did a good job on my acrylics. Unfortunately, I'm angry and very disappointed and will never set foot in this place again! Here's why. I decided to have them remove my acrylics and specifically told them what time I had to be at work. She did not soak my nails and proceeded to remove them with an acrylic nail. It hurt SO BADLY that Tears started rolling down my face. After crying from so much pain, she walked away & and two others proceeded ripping them off. I can't even begin to tell you how frustrating, awful & maddening this experience was. Nothing was done to rectify the situation, not even an apology. Obviously they're 20 bucks was more important to them than caring about their customer. I have to be very upset to write a review. Please beware of this place, this should not happen under any circumstances. read more

Okay it seems the guy I wrote about in the last review is gone now lol The owner responded and wanted to make it right. I've gone back twice incognito and the vibe is much better. The nails have lasted well And my nails came out cute both times. They still arent having spots saved when you make an "appt" but they are a great option for walk-ins. And DONT LET THEM RIP OFF UR NAILS. They are still doing it, I've seen it done both times I've gone back. Not cool , Ask for a soak off, save ur nails! other than that they've redeemed themselves. read more

If I could give 0 starts I would. I came in today at around 4:20 to do my nails & they told me there was a 30 min wait so I waited. You could tell everybody was milking the clock to begin with because people were just standing around until 5pm came. They then sat me down & told me they couldn't do my nails because it was "too late" for the service I needed. Bad Business. Never coming here again. read more

Pricing is very confusing, and I received two cuts one, I have to bandage my new Pedi. I requested a gel pedicure and was told I had a specific type of gel on my feet. I knew that was incorrect, but after debating the issue, I added acrylic. I was informed the service was extra, which is fine, and then to selected a Pedi package which was also extra; if you add callus remover, yup, you guessed it, that is also extra, and because I wanted French ( white line), that too was extra. The total came to $88, which was the most I have ever paid for a Pedi, and I have received many pedicures with designs, stones, and French styles. The service was mediocre and not comfortable. The tech seemed irritated, and it was apparent she was discussing my feet with her coworkers throughout the whole process. I could not understand what she was saying, but her body language was evident. Perhaps she was resentful that I provided instructions on how I wanted my results. As a paying customer, I don't feel that was illogical since I knew what I wanted. I have no issues paying for good services, and I am continuously a generous tipper, but this service fell short. Long story short, she cut me with the drill not once but twice, with no apology. Later she sprayed me with alcohol which made the whole process uneasy and painful each time she touched the cuts or filed/buffed. I asked the tech not to do French (white line) since the color was nice on its own. Nonetheless, I was still charged for the French (white line), although I did not get it. I was hoping this new location would work due to proximity, but I will stay with my regular spot even if I have to travel to Visalia. As a customer and business owner, my recommendation to the new owners is to listen to the customer. They usually know what they want and don't get upset with specific reasonable instructions. Don't make customers uncomfortable by holding an ongoing discussion that is not comprehended when it's obvious it's about the customer. I, too, am multilingual. This practice is not professional. If a customer requests a treatment modification well in advance, adjust the price accordingly. Lastly, when an "accident" occurs, such as cutting a customer, apologize and try to make the service as comfortable as possible, not painful and harsh. read more
