Update: I've been coming to Spa Mom now for 8 months, and trust me- I try to get in for a "pamper me" appointment once every 3-4 weeks. Each time I leave my appointment, my skin is glowing! Andrea provides a relaxing and cozy environment so you can just enjoy every second of your self-care time. She has also introduced me to an array of products, at my request, so I can continue to pamper myself at home. And believe me: she uses the best products on her clients. Note: It is not uncommon to pass out from the extreme relaxation. Yes... she's that good. Aside from the calming atmosphere, sensational facials, and Andrea's attention to detail... she really is just a genuinely amazing human. Andrea lovingly devotes her spare time to help underprivileged children and regularly accepts donations of school supplies and clothing for them. Of course, she doesn't "pressure" anyone to donate. But I absolutely adore her outgoing and caring nature, and how she invites others to be a part of it, if they would like. In my opinion, we could use more Andreas in the world. Bottom line: We all need to have self-care days, and I'm happy to have found Spa Mom for that! Everyone knows I'm pretty stingy with my five star reviews, but I'd give SPA MOM more if I could. In fact, I'm quite ashamed I've been going to her for YEARS and haven't submitted a review!!! How I found Andrea is quite the story in itself. When she was at a difference location, I stumbled into her location needing a last minute eye brow wax. I was willing to settle for anything - it was an emergency!!! When I walked in (looking a mess) she let me know she had a cancellation so she could do my brows in about 30 minutes. From the minute you meet Andrea you feel like you're right at home. She's super warm and makes you feel very comfortable. I started out with just my brow waxing then moved onto her FAB facials. In fact, I bought a gift certitifcate for my mom's birthday and she LOVES Andrea. Her prices is pretty middle of the road - not as cheap as something in teh middle of the strip mall, but not as expensive as some of the large spas. The day I made my first apt. for a facial with Andrea, was the smartest thing I ever did. I worked as an Animal Cruelty Investigator and believe me, finding someone who could shut off my brain (even if it's only for 90 minutes) is priceless. She is amazing!! Andrea is wonderful! Probably the best facial I have ever had. I first went with my daughter and then went back for myself. She takes the time to understand your skin and offers healthful suggestions. Her techniques for massaging the face are incredible and she clearly loves what she does. I have not yet tried the waxing, but that's next on the list. The only drawback is that her location is in sort of a weird complex. The first time I went to Andrea I had a Living Social deal. I had had one facial in my life before this. Wow! Her hands are terrific! I purchase the extra services of lower leg/foot and arm massages. During the facial she will also massage my shoulders and neck which wasn't done at my first facial. Andrea is head and shoulders above that "fancy", overpriced spa.
