There are feelers, and there are healers and Steve of Livewell therapeutic massage is at the…read moreforefront of the healing arts. I can tell instantly when a person puts their hands on me if they have the gift of touch and Steve is the real deal. A beautiful and intimate space with many amazing plants bespeaks of a personal and inviting sanctuary for one to rest and heal. When one entrusts one's body to a healer one must be able to do just that and Steve's gifted technique has been honed over years of applied principles to the point of mastery. He is capable of any level of massage or healing: one only need to specify desired modality and pressure. Massage began with a good epsom salt foot scrub and then progressed to one of the deeper applications of pressure point massages I've ever had in my life, and I've had a few. To use this level of strength and pressure a person really must know what they're doing to effect healing and not injury, and healing is certainly the case here at Livewell massage; one of the finest boutique massage outfits on the planet, sans the boutique pricetag. I was poured a nice cup of some cherry juice at end to hydrate cause man, I was zonked! In a word - Go!

It's the perfect place for him to truly unwind with complete silence, no distractions, just pure relaxation. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, and you feel it the moment you walk in. Reservations and Checking in was easy and the front desk welcomes you! We started with a deep tissue massage with Angie who was awesome, which was the perfect way to ease into the experience. It left us both feeling completely relaxed before heading out to enjoy the amenities The thermal pools are perfectly maintained, ranging from warm to hot. He especially enjoyed going through the full thermal cycle... the cold plunge, sauna, steam room, and then back into the hot spa. It's such a refreshing and rejuvenating experience. We ended up staying for six hours and honestly enjoyed every single minute. It's one of those rare places where time just slows down, and you leave feeling completely reset. We'll definitely be back again as it's been my husband's annual birthday gift from me!

The spa is promoted as a silent spa with no talking but since there is no enforcement yelling, laughing, splashing around is common. If you are looking for calm and quiet this is not the place. I planned a weekend around going to this place so leaving right away due to noise was disappointing. When leaving I asked if the remaining gift card balance could be refunded to the CC since I wouldn't be back; they apologized and blamed staffing shortages for the noise. The lady offered a full refund to the CC which I appreciate. They never sent the refund. Following up a couple weeks later they ignored all the words in my email and only refilled the gift card, refusing to refund the CC. What a terrible place to not go back to. Lesson leaned: this place sucks

She has such an infectious energy and is extremely personable, which makes for a really comfortable experience. It was my first time doing acupuncture and I loved it so much. I was dealing with extreme fatigue when I went to my first appointment and since my first appointment it has gone away. Her space is so clean and inviting. I loved the gua sha treatment. I would highly recommend Ouchie for anyone looking for a more natural approach to health and wellness. Stephanie and her husband, Dustin, are incredible people worth supporting !

You do not get the care and compassion from someone, let alone a physician/doctor anymore. She truly is changing the face of care in Chinese medicine. She stays in the room while treating you and does anything from massage your neck, change the treatment to benefit another spot of care, talk to you, or just be present. I have recommended Dr. ouchie (hehe) to everyone I know. I have done cupping, acupuncture, and facial gua sha & every treatment has been amazing. Love you Stephanie!!
