I decided I needed a long overdue massage. I researched different places in my area and settled here based on pricing and reviews. I arrived 20 minutes early as instructed and was greeted immediately. The receptionist was so nice friendly, and inviting. They also are doing a temp check and abiding by social distancing which is of course a plus. It seems people think COVID-19 is gone so was nice to go to a business taking it seriously! The salon was also super clean and smelled nice. I was offered a robe abd slippers while waiting for my my massage time. I also had some blueberry infused water. They also offer other drink choices as well. The entire wait experience was relaxing. I had a 50 minute bliss massage with Kim. She did an excellent job. She was very calm demeanor and attentive while ensuring she is providing the best service. I felt great afterwards. I have had other massages but this by far was the best experience. My appointment time was changed without my knowledge. I had an email verifying the time of my appointment and showed up 15mins prior, only to be told my appointment was for 10:30 (not 10:45 as I had booked). The staff did not seem to care and insisted that because their email said 10:30, there was nothing they could do. It was frustrating and took away from my massage experience. Found a Groupon for a pedicure and figured I'd try it out. Very warm greeting when I came in. Doesn't feel like a spa at first. I was asked if I wanted to wear the robe and slippers. Figured why not spoil myself so said yes. Was taken into the women's locker room. There are 2 changing rooms - 1 bigger than the other. There is, also, a sauna in the room. Was given a very plush robe and sandals to wear and asked what I wanted to drink. I was offered champagne, mimosa, wine (red or white), hot tea (5 flavors), and fruit flavored water. I opted for the champagne. When I came out of the dressing room, the champagne was waiting, and I was taken back to the meditation room. Room was nice and had water and snacks available. My nail technician, Daisy, came and got me and took me to another room. There were 3 chairs available for the pedicures so there won't be a ton of people around. Was given the nail polish colors to choose from while my pedicure was done. Very nice pedicure. After it was complete, I was walked back to the changing room since I had no other services scheduled. Wasn't what I was expecting. Too expensive for what you get. For the same amount, I could go to milk&honey and get a nice relaxing experience. I felt very rushed, and felt some of the staff were rude. No shower after, just putting my clothes on over the oil was not comfortable. Masseuse did a great job and clearly knew her routine well. I asked for a deep tissue massage. The next day I am sore and have bruises. The massage person needs to understand there is a point where deep tissue is giving the muscle some relief and how she did it, using only her elbows and what must have been all her pressure leaves a client just sore and with bruises. I have had really good deep tissue massages in my time that never left me sore and with bruises. And I was left extremely oily, gross. Spa Luxe was very nice but not a great massage. read more

Original review: After reading through all of the five star reviews, I learned that many of the people are small business owners here in Georgetown and they seem to all support each other. However, my experience was not five star. I will start off by saying I went to Spa Luxe from December 2019 up until this week when I was treated poorly by the owner Tori, her spa manager and their spa coordinator. My very first visit in December consisted of me waiting in their meditation room for 40 plus minutes past my appointment time. There were many instances where my appointment time was not honored. I also had an eyebrow waxing there one time that was horrible. My whole face was red and scabbed for weeks. Natalie the nail technician was the only saving grace there and the reason why I kept going back. She always did a wonderful, detailed job on manicures and pedicures. However, she is moving to Kansas this week. I saw their other nail technician one time and she did not do as thorough of a job. The paint on my toes had streaks, bubbles and white spots. I had to get them repainted at another nail salon in town. The straw that broke the camel's back this past week: I called to make a touch up appointment on Sunday for one of my toes, as the paint chipped shortly after my pedicure. I was verbally told on the phone that Natalie could see me at 3:15 on Tuesday. This worked perfectly in case I had to work at 4. However, I got a text notification that my appointment was at 3:30. I called the salon to inquire about the time change. I was informed that my time slot was taken up by someone who booked online at the same time I was on the phone. Instead of honoring my time, they chose to give that time to someone else. This is not the first time this has happened with them. They have consistently shown that my time is not valuable but other guests get better treatment. I expressed my dissatisfaction and also called back to speak to a manager. When I spoke to the manager, he interrupted me several times which caused me to become irritated and then he said "Stop yelling!" which I was not doing. I contacted the owner, and she said she would pull the call to review. I go into my appointment on Tuesday, and the coordinator never brought me the drink I asked for. A couple who came in after me got a drink before me. The spa coordinator also asked me my name which she never does. I have always been remembered when I walk in and addressed as "Ms. Dowers". Natalie was also late seeing me for my appointment, which happened a lot there. No apology was given to me for the drink situation or the tardiness. And the spa coordinator did not take my complaint well and didn't seem to care about making my experience better. I contacted the owner again on Facebook messenger. I will back up and say that she was the one who originally contacted me in this mode of communication when I posted in a Georgetown group inquiring about the spa's opening. I assumed that since she opened up this type of communication with me that it was acceptable to contact her this way. She sent me a long rant in messenger telling me I was a bully and she pulled the call and her staff members are innocent. I was the one out of line and "unprofessional". Not sure why I am unprofessional. I am not the one getting paid for a service. They are. Again, no apology from her for the poor treatment that day. She also told me that contacting her on Facebook is inappropriate. That is not the first time she has been rude about the Facebook contact. I had a death in the family and asked her if I could please cancel my appointment without getting charged. She expressed zero empathy for my situation and told me "Next time you need to call the salon." Wow. Just wow. You are the one who contacted me on Facebook messenger originally when I asked a question in a group. The question wasn't even directed at her or her business directly, yet here she is now telling me that contacting her on her personal page is "inappropriate". Then why was it ok for you to message me originally? read more

I received a gift certificate from my boys at Spa Luxe. I was excited since I have not had a massage since I was in Miami. I scheduled my appointment via phone but there is an option to do it online. Online also shows you the services they provide and pricing. Arrived on Sat, July 14th for my 80 minute massage. I arrived early and wish I didn't leave to take advantage of the sauna before getting the massage. They provide lockers for you to store and create your own 4 digit passcode. I honestly forgot my masseuse's name but let me tell you she was awesome. I asked her to focus on my shoulders and lower back and she did exactly that. I love a deep tissue around those areas and she provided that without asking. I guess she felt how tense I was. After my massage I went into their lounge area where they give you wine, cucumber water, hot tea, etc. There are also some nuts and light snacks for you. The room is quite big and definitely great for an all girls day if you choose. Plenty of room in there. I went into the sauna and stayed for about 10 minutes. After that, got dresses and off I went to check out. The girls that checked me in and out were awesome. Very friendly and provided me more info about the business. They do offer some goodies to sell such as candles, oils, water bottles, and more in front. This place is more pricier that my recent massages. For 60 minute massage I can get for $80-$100, here is it $120. That is the only downside. But I did enjoy my services and will treat myself here every once in a while. read more

I was extremely satisfied with the signature facial that I received and my skin still looks radiant three days later. I've been to other salons that do not even come close to the service and products used during my facial so I felt like I didn't waste my money.
