Just doing an update because a lot has change…read more Right now they have a spring special $30 for the month of May only Monday- Friday ( not Memorial Day) Its still clean as compared to their competitor. The Bade pools ( yes you have to be in the buff) The jets aren't strong as I wanted. The steam rooms are cool. I love the cold plunge pool. The sauna rooms have a lot to offer. Hinoki room is my favorite. The outdoor pools. There aren't enough lounge chairs .. A lot of the jets dont work...and most of the time women are kiking forever on the jets stations ... The jacuzzi is small but very relaxing. As far as food, it's not worth it! Almost $30 for bulgogi??! I got scallion pancakes and it was dreadful! It's supposed to be crispy! It seemed like they microwaved it. The empanadas was ok. They sell these cute bear drink that had your choice of Sorrel ( hibiscus? Or ginger lemonade. I got sorrel but it was too sweet!! For $9!! At least the bottle is reusable. I definitely prefer this place over Parkside/Spa World. I recommend coming during the weekend, and get here early!

Still a very nice and clean spa. During Mother's Day weekend it was very busy. So, its kind of…read morenoisy if you're looking for "quiet" time. Every now and then you get noisy groups in the sauna... so you know the first timers! The onsite dining is still pretty good but prices have spiked. The 7-piece wings was good but cost $23 before taxes. We tried the Kalbi bento, which was ok. It cost $35 before taxes. Again, still a very nice and clean spa that has gotten popular, which draws in large groups along with loud conversations, even in the saunas. Recommendations: - if you are getting a massage, book early because it fills fast. - a water bottle - socks to wear indoors - slippers for the outdoor pool area - noise cancellation ear buds or headphones - eat a big meal before showing up

As you get escorted to your locker and changing room, you have a cute locker with your name hanging on the door, with a beautiful oversized white luxury robe and slippers. You have the option have showering before if you like, as your given time and pressure to rush for your massage. Once you're ready, you're then escorted to a waiting area where they serve you some goodies and a drink ( tea, cucumber water, or wine). The waiting area is so beautiful and relaxing. Your masseuse then comes to collect you and the rest is amazing. You leave Woodhouse a new person. I have been there many times and I highly recommend it.

We were greeted warmly as soon as we entered, and staff members soon escorted us back to our respective locker rooms where the most plush and comfortable robes were waiting for us. After we changed, we were taken to a small lounge with comfortable chaises for each of us. We were offered champagne or another drink, as well as hot or cold neck wraps. The air was filled with a gentle scent and there was nice music playing softly. Next was a trip to the massage room where we indulged in massages that not only focused on our necks, backs and shoulders, but arms, faces and heads as well. Very relaxing. When the massages were over (far too soon!), we were escorted back to the original lounge where we could recover for as long as we wished. All in all, a wonderful experience. We will definitely go back.

It is a massage plus physical therapy in one. I have chronic pain and discomfort around my shoulders and around my shoulder blades for several years. I gotten massage and physical therapy past few years. Michael was SUPERB in working on my problematic areas. I couldn't believe it. Michael is also very knowledgeable and very professional. I felt totally comfortable during the therapy. I felt healed. I strongly, strongly, strongly recommend Michael to anyone. He is incredible beyond words. Go see Michael!!! You will sooooo thankful!!!!

As a freshly postpartum mother, I am at a stage where kindness and flexibility are essential, yet I was treated with total coldness. After the owner previously rescheduled on me when it suited her, I encountered a genuine emergency and was immediately 'kicked to the curb' with a $170 cancellation fee. Even after paying that fee, my attempt to move forward and rebook was met with short, dismissive responses. When I reached out to find a slot, I was told 'I must be booked,' and when I shared that I'd have to take my business elsewhere, the response was a curt 'No worries!' It is baffling that a business owner would choose a one-time fee over a loyal, high-value client relationship (I was prepared to spend over $1,700 annually). To treat a new mother this way is not just poor business--it's unkind. I will be taking my business to a provider who values their clients' well-being as much as their bottom line."

I was finally able to have a call back from these folks and was able to book an appointment. The establishment is clean and the staff were friendly. We received a 60 minute massage. The massage was 'okay'. It felt like someone just rubbing oil on you. The pressure was kind of weak. I felt awkward bringing it up more than once. After we redeemed our gift card, there was an issue with gratuity. When we were gifted this a few years back, our friends mentioned they had added 20% tip. I believe the price of the massage went up, which makes sense. However, the front desk person made it seem like prices haven't changed and it was odd that the tip was so little. It would have been nice if they were just honest with why the top was much less now, which is probably because the price of the massage went up. I would probably check out another place.

I read the bad reviews before going, but I'm going to base my opinion on my own experience. I like that they offer discounts for seniors. My mom's admission was $35 and mine was $45. This is definitely very affordable, and for someone who cares more about the benefits rather than aesthetics or Instagram photos, I think it's worth it. I can see why some people say the pool water smells musky. It does seem that way a bit, but honestly, I'm not sure if it's just because the water is warm. The spa treatments are pricey, but it's understandable. The staff could use some hospitality training. The girl at the front desk was nice, but the guy could definitely use some training. The food is affordable and the portions are huge. I got bibimbap for $16 and shared it with my mom, so it was definitely worth the money. I would come back again, especially on my birthday, because they have a promotion for free admission if it's your birthday. They also have a bunch of other promotions that I don't remember, but they're worth checking out. Really wish they would open one in Maryland again.

The moment it was my turn, her entire demeanor changed. Instead of professionalism, I was met with visible disdain, eye-rolling, and a dismissive attitude. No explanations. No courtesy. No respect. When I calmly corrected her on an issue, rather than addressing it professionally, she doubled down on the disrespect. To make matters worse, she was not wearing a name tag. When I asked for her name, she refused to provide it, which is completely unacceptable in a customer-facing role. I then attempted to address the issue with another front desk employee--the shorter, dark-haired woman with glasses--who also refused to respond when spoken to. This experience left me feeling singled out, disrespected, and ignored. Whether this was due to poor training or something more troubling, the behavior I encountered was unprofessional and hostile. Front desk staff set the tone for any business, and Spa World's front desk failed spectacularly. I will not be returning, and I would strongly caution others--especially African American customers--to be aware that they may not receive the same level of respect afforded to others.
