I told the woman that I like the shape but shellac is not clean and even white French residue is still on my nail and you have to fix it but they didn't pay attention! I'm really sad for their behaviour and also unclean shellac ! I will never go again because of their attitude!

Julie did my nails this time - I was planning to get dip again but she recommended Solar nails instead. To be honest, I was very hesitant returning because of my first visit and this visit is actually for my birthday next week LOL But my friends have been going there for months now and they would always show me the results and it looked amazing every time (They get theirs done by Kenzo). I am really pleased and happy with how my nails turned out this time! It turned out sooo much better. Julie took her time and made sure everything was perfect. As I was leaving, Lan apologized for my first visit and wanted to make it up to me by giving me this set on the house! I really appreciate the gesture and their efforts in correcting the situation. They've gained a repeat customer :)

I enjoyed my foot spa. It was so relaxing, added by a hot stone massage. I had ombre for my finger nails and I liked it. My only reason for giving a 4 is because my aesthetician is not comparing if both sides of the nails were even. Same with the nail color. I just noticed that my right side has intense color than the other one when I got home. Its hard to notice because its so bright in there. However, I think I'll be a regular.

I was not expecting much since my previous shellac was all peeled off and I just wanted to find a place to do a quick mani. I walked in an was immediately greeted by friendly staff. Honestly, I walked by this place so many times and I always thought eh, not sure if I want to go inside. For only $30 (tax included), i got a full shellac manicure (and removal of previous colour) in less than an hour. I thought this was a pretty good price for a downtown location. The staff were really accommodating, even though their English wasn't good they tried really hard to help me find the colours i wanted. The shellac was not clumpy and there is absolutely no flooding near my nail beds. For the price, i think it was a pretty well done job. But if youre looking for a high end shellac or gel mani/nail art i suggest you look elsewhere.

Daisy Nails and Spa, located on Yonge St. near Kempford (where the closest big intersection is…read moreYonge/Finch), is a popular place in the neighbourhood of Willowdale to get your nails done. They also do spa services such as waxing as well. Do call ahead of time as this nail salon does get busy! They can try to accommodate walk ins but you may have to wait a bit or schedule an appointment another day. I had gotten my nails done at Daisy Nails a few years ago and decided to return for their services. My friend and I opted to go to Daisy Nails and Spa for our manicures (removal and shellac manicure for me, a shellac mani and pedi for my friend) on a Friday afternoon. I called about 3 weeks prior to the appointment as I wanted to make sure we got our manis together or around the same time. The staff were prompt to take my name and number down during the phone call. Day of our appointment, although we arrived on time we still had to wait about 10-15 min for our nail technicians. I probably waited a bit longer. The place was a little over half full and all the nail technicians were busy with other customers. My shellac removal and manicure took almost 1.5 hours long (usually would take me about an hour at another salon, however, I did have to wait a bit in the beginning). My nail technician was attentive and friendly. I had 2 split nails which she was aware of and took care to cover them up. She also listened to how I wanted to shape my nails and made sure I was okay with the length. Manicure wise, she did a great job! My friend was also happy with her mani and pedi services. If you pay cash you don't need to pay tax. They do however, accept credit and debit as well. Overall, good salon around the neighbourhood. It is a popular place so it does get quite busy, best to book an appointment ahead of time, especially on the weekends!
