They actually had a last minute appointment available great service clean and friendly environment.

I called for a same day appointment and they were able to get me in. Once I came in I realized walk in probably would have worked too. The salon is very quiet and looked clean. There aren't as many gel colors to look at as some salons but sometimes that makes it easier to choose. My manicure was very quick, quiet and easy. I will probably come back once the gel grows out. The price seems fair for the quality of service- nothing over the top & outstanding, but a typical gel mani.

I went to this place to try them out and look for a new "regular" nail place since the guy I used to go to no longer works. I came in with a very specific design request and the lady said no problem, she took her time looking at the design and for the right colors and everything for me, awesome! However once she started it all kinda went down hill from there. She used a pink acrylic instead of the normal clear whitish one which I found odd since my nails were gonna be 85% covered with pink polish. As she was filing and buffing she had cut my fingers a couple of times (not really that huge of a deal as I get it happens but this was more than normal). So now the designs happening, the spiral candy cane look on my ring fingers is very sloppy and not crisp, the V tips on my middle we're free handed so again not sharp and crisp (she even suggested a rhinestone which I now realize was to cover her mistakes), the rhinestones on my pointer are no where near the picture I showed nor are they even, they were sliding all over the place, and my thumbs are all crooked with the stones due to the sliding. Now for the finishing touches, she put the clear coat on all nails even though the pinkie was to be matte. Ok 2 hours after sitting down and getting my nails I get my brows done. Quick not awful. So after all that I was happy to have my nails done again but as the day went on and I looked at them more and more, they are AWFUL!! There is no consistency in the paint nor clear coat, I have acrylic all over the sides of my fingers, and even the acrylic is lumpy and noticeable. Not to mention I still have wax on my face and lots of stray brow hairs. 10/10 will not be back except to get my money. I get I may seem a bit over critical but I have never had issues with my complex designs and pay good money to get them however this is not a job worth the money I spent. ( first picture is what I wanted the rest is what I got) UPDATE: called to see about a refund and she told me she would have to cut off the nails. I told her I don't want a full refund just partial because my nail beds are so weak from her grinding that cutting them would just cause more damage to my actual nail. She yelled at me and refused any refund at that point. 100% will never go back.

Best place in town. Finally got a great quality massage and very nice people are there! They take care of you most definitely.

Absolutely love this place. There are so many nail polish colors to choose from. The guy who did my nails was wonderful. He took his time and made sure I liked how they looked before I left. Definitely will be going back!

Pink and white full set ($45) requested short style with square top and round edges. Lots of messy edges.

I had high hopes walking into Spa & Nails! The outside of the building is well kept and the inside is gorgeous, very clean, well organized and a bright area. I stopped by around 11am on a Saturday and they had 3 other walk-ins waiting so I made an appointment for later that day. When I arrived back for my appointment I was seated right away and got started on my Pink and White full set. They didn't touch my cuticles but overall the process went smoothly, I was very specific on the length and shape that I wanted and he more or less preformed. Unfortunately there are many edges of my white that got buffed off and even a small hole in one of my nails. My manicurist, a gentleman around 50ish (possibly one of the owners?) did completely redo one of my nails that he botched, but there are still many smaller details that he missed. The total price was $45, so a few dollars cheaper than most places, but definitely not who I would trust if my nails need to look perfect! They seemed to have a really great color selection and all around fair prices, so I will be back, but not for pink & whites.

Located in a historical home on Main Street, the experience was a relaxing, sensory heaven with an added bonus of anti aging. I booked a 60 minute facial and peel with Lani. I was already really looking forward to it when I arrived, but as someone with a love for historic homes, stepping up to the wrap around porch made me swoon. The home is so beautiful and nostalgic, the wood floors creaking and popping underfoot, and this heavenly mixed scent of skincare/spa/baked goods...I couldn't always put my finger on the scent, but even as someone with sensory sensitivities, it was a sensory delight. Lani put me right at ease. She clearly knows her craft and I felt that I could trust her to perform a chemical peel on my face. The whole experience was so soothing and luxious, I nearly fell asleep. Afterwards, she made suggestions for follow up services to meet my skincare goals and some products to use in the healing process. There was absolutely no pressure, just suggestions, as I had also indicated on my paperwork that I was open to suggestions and recommendations. I appreciate that this is asked ahead of time. 2 days out from my facial and peel, my skin still looks amazing and the peeling is very manageable. I'm looking forward to returning next week for a massage and continuing to see Lani for my skincare needs.

For me - no question - it's a good facial. It's both pampering and rejuvenating, plus it serves a purpose; god knows the beating our skin takes during those cold and windy winter months. My ideal facialist is both an artist and a scientist. They know how to pamper and channel tranquility. They also know how to get those pores clear. The Europa Day Spa meets the challenge. It's located just across the street from Napolese on the corner of 49th and Pennsylvania - a nice neighborhood spot. Walk in and you'll notice the super relaxing Zen vibe right away. It has a white drapey interior with bubbling water fountains, but doesn't go overboard. I was given a facial by Sandra, who owns the spa. She is warm and focused. She offered me tea (from Hubbard & Cravens which is HQed in the neighborhood) and made sure I was comfortable, positioned a pillow under my knees. Then she got to work. Anyone who's had a deep facial knows the true test of a good facialist is their technique with extractions. This is where they actually clean your pores one by one, and it's never comfortable. At worst it's as painful as a bikini wax. Enough said. Sandra's extraction technique was very respectable. She was quick and gentle. The facial also included an eyebrow wax - she's good at that too. And the whole facial was $75 - very reasonably priced. I'll be back the next time I need a little pampering - or when the seasons change again (whichever comes first).

Sandra's the best! She offers such quality service and so relaxing. I can highly recommend her!read more
