Creative had previously done our bathroom vanity. We were able to work with Greg on the redesign of…read moreour kitchen which was a total rehab. A good selection of cabinetry and countertop materials for what we needed. One of the advantages of working with this company is they provide an all in price which includes design, fabrication, demolition, electric and plumbing work, drywall, installations of cabinets and all appliances as well as paint. They coordinate everything. Agreed on a schedule and they kept it. No issues with "extra" work coming up during construction either. They are very interested in customer satisfaction. There were some crossed signals on communication but we were flexible so no big deal. Recommend them for kitchen bath work large or small.

TL;DR - Just don't do it. Especially if you are having them install countertops. The lack of…read morecommunication is infuriating during a process that many aren't familiar with. They don't answer (phone calls, texts, emails - you can't leave a VM for either Howard or Jose) and I had 2 no-shows during this arduous process. Well you have called me 2xs and texted me 2xs asking for my review...here you go. I went to the showroom to look and discuss countertops on February 18th, met Howard gave him my measurements of my kitchen, told them we wanted a waterfall. Not once did he mention my island was too large and told me we would need 2 slabs. He did mention my upper cabinets were high, but that during template they would double check (I told him, yeah the design has our upper cabinets higher than standard due to having vaulted ceilings in our home). He recommend I check out Nash Stone (loved them and their selection. Gabby was super responsive, Nash has great customer service!) I picked out 3 stones and by February 25th (a week later) emailed Howard with pictures and asked for price quotes...AND AGAIN GAVE ALL MY MEASUREMENTS + plus the measurements for A WATERFALL. Still did not mention my island is too large. Had to stay on top of him into March but did get a price quote to which I was told I needed to send in the check to hold the stone. When I sent the check in March, Howard just ghosts all calls or texts until early April. By then the stone I wanted was gone, so I had to run back to Nash and picked out a new stone on April 1st. He wakes up April 5th and tells me April 10th they will come to template. They never show. I was told they forgot my house and finished for the day, cool. So they show up to template on April 11th (take my sink at this time too- we will come back to this) and this is when I am now told my island is way too large. Can't accommodate an a waterfall edge, would need a seam for the stone and they recommend taking out 2 cabinets out of island. I emailed Howard that night, and he never ends up getting back to me. In fact, no one will answer me. Can't leave a voicemail his inbox is full. My husband ends up calling...using a different number and wow would you guess who picks up...Howard. He then pushes us off to work with a different designer, Jose. Real nice and super professional move (*I'm being sarcastic here). Jose does come to our house, and explains that we will need to take out the 2 cabinets. Which honestly is just so frustrating to get to this point and learn this. He also mentions several ways he would have designed our kitchen differently, cool super helpful. My contractor comes back rips out the 2 cabinets (goodbye $1000) they come re-template. Now we are well into the middle of May, we get a call on Sunday 5/21 to set up for install saying it will be Tuesday 5/23 and Wednesday 5/24. MONDAY NIGHT AT 6PM, night before install, Jose is rapidly calling us to tell us, our sink is too large. The sink they have had SINCE APRIL 11TH. He is trying to push us to buy a sink off of them, by some luck my husband finds a new sink in the "correct" size (we wanted a workstation sink) and since they have had this sink since April 11th, I now cannot return the sink (goodbye $614.81). They come and do the backsplash that Tuesday 5/24 and then DO NOT SHOW (no phone call, no text nothing, which I took off of work to be there) on Wednesday. You would think they would of said something that Tuesday that they wouldn't be there, or ask for the new sink? I call 4pm on Wednesday the main phone number asking why no one has come and the woman does not have an answer but tells me they need the new sink delivered by 5pm to either Selden or East Northport location. The lack of communication, professionalism, and customer service is a COMPLETE JOKE with this company. I guess if you are not having a full kitchen design you are not a worthy of their time. Thank you for adding an additional 3 months + wasting $1,600 to my renovation that did not need to be. I will not be recommending this company, ever.

The stress was overwhelming, Overpriced and the conversations were always void of details. We abandoned the project and went on vacation instead! Fast fwd 2 yrs, I finally found Royal kitchens and Bath from the internet. The reviews were all I had to go by (all genuine and positive) and then we met Robert and his lovely wife and our search was over! There wasn't any hesitation, reasonable priced, good communication and patient listeners. Robert's a straight shooter, doesn't promise anything he cant deliver and confident in all he can do. We were blown away how fast and meticulous Robert and his crew were, they installed cabinets, countertops and backsplash, ran new elect lines; replaced 1/ wall in a wk and 1/2! Multiple workers working list a well oiled machine and Oscar, what can we say but OUTSTANDING! The cleanest, most meticulous worker, he was a pleasure to speak with and watch. They were on time every day, Robert visits the work site many times over the course of each day, the crew is clean, skilled & professional and a week later we are in LOVE with our new kitchen! It was a dream job, no glitches and if anything did popped up, it was quickly addressed and remedied. Our friends and family are in awe and we can't stop staring at the gorgeous outcome! So much thanks Robert and crew, smiling everyday! Seriously, everyday :)))

You work in reverse order where you make the croissants first, then you go back and learn to make the dough. The dough you make is used for the next class. They said the class would take 6 hours if you did everything in one day. Beef Wellington - Not enough cooking. WE rolled out the dough, made the duxelle, and the side broccolini. We did not sear the meat and we didn't get to check the temp for the perfect cook. Our beef was overcooked and completely grey. On to my next adventure...

They recreated the store exactly like it was in 2019. Walking in Monday afternoon, I see there's a cooking class in the back. Lots of smiles from the customer service peeps, I just love Sur La Table. I have credit card points that I'll be using for my purchase. I found a two loaf baguette tray and a bread scorer. The counter person was so helpful, she took my digital gift card (Her first time) and gave me a military discount. Sur La Table, welcome back! It will be a pleasure to shop your store once again.

Not only is everything sound now structurally, but Nick also paid a lot of attention to details and everything looks great! From the look on the exterior with the Azek, to the detail work on all the trim around the windows and door, to the choice of quality products for our door and the windows and trim work and structure, the room looks great inside and out! As usual, some things came up (water damage inside a wall that needed addressing, screen issue with the windows due to a window company glitch) as tends to occur on jobs, and Nick handled it professionally. He kept his word and followed up on everything that needed to be followed up on until the job was finished. He was also in close communication with his crew to ensure that everything was handled well, and made sure his guys were on the job on time and doing things correctly. I specifically asked Walter what is the warranty. He said "forever". Told me i could contact them at anytime they would help me. We spent 90,000 on a custom kitchen. Now I am being told they no longer can order the touch up kit because the manufacturer doesn't stopped making the color. The representative Michelle said, In all the years dealing with this manufacturer Kitchen-Craft whenever they stopped making a color they will no longer make touch up kits. But if you want to have the doors replaced they will customize for you. It can't be a few doors, it needs to be many. My kitchen is still young and we are seniors hardly use it. They should find a way to help me get a touch-up paint without unnecessarily replacing costly doors. Nicole, in reference to your response below, if you recall you transferred me to Michelle. As stated above, Michelle told me i could not just replace one or two doors. She referenced another customer who had 8 or 9 replaced. She was able to help them after a color had been discontinued. "They would customize as they were purchasing many doors and she didn't think the company would accommodate me". Obviously, the company has a way to make discontinued colors. I can work with a small bottle. It is very fair of me to hold you responsible when i was told i would never have a problem. You made no earnest attempt to help me solve the issue without replacing many costly doors. I will call company directly myself and see if i can get the color. Benjamin Moore makes a sea shell and it looks very similar. From what I understand online this company is in line with Benjamin Moore who still makes sea shell white. Hopefully they can confirm this is the same color. Maybe you have learned something here to help other customers. My purpose in writing this review is informative for other customers as 90,000 is a lot of money to spend and then be told there is nothing to be done.
