Really good souvlaki. They sell souvlaki skewers on their own with tzatziki, a great grab and go snack or hit of protein. The honey sticks they make are good too.

Fantastic alternative food option in the neighbourhood! This location was opened a few months ago and am happy to see it thriving. The food is really tasty (especially any of the chicken dishes) and affordable. Staff is super friendly and the owners are really nice. I haven't eaten at the restaurant yet so I'm reviewing based on my experiences for pick up and delivery.

Had no expectations when I came here as it looks like a little hole in the wall selling greek food so I was a bit cautious with the food we got but I must say that it was pretty good. We shared a chicken breast and It was a good portion with delicious sides. Bottom line, great place to grab a gyro or a quick bite

Greek fries were amazing

Wow, I was really amazed when I walked in. It looked like a small take out Greek restaurant but what I didn't know was inside had ample seating for parties of 2 or 4. I would not recommend bringing a group bigger then that. We ordered the special which were two gyros wraps that came with fresh veggies like cucumbers, tomatoes and lettuce. The best part was the amount of meat that was in the wrap. Neither my partner nor I could finish the wrap because of all the amount of meat. We also ordered a side of Greek fries which was heavenly and to die for. It had feta and oregano that made it very delicious! Overall, I had a great experience for lunch. I would definitely go there again for a light snack.

I was in the mood for Greek and the Food was good! Nice staff! They have a patio where you can eat outside. I had the souvlaki dinner ($14) not bad for an awesome taste. You can also have an option if you like garlic bread or pita.

It's new and close to the beach! Friendly staff. Fresh salad with good feta cheese. Tasty chicken souvlaki. Too much onion and salt.

Their pork souvlaki is perhaps the best in town. Nice portions and great flavour. Amazing tzatziki sauce. Service is always friendly.

Size does matter. I ordered a chicken dinner earlier ( walk in). The portion was huge. The chicken were tender and tasty. Will repeat.

Pork souvlaki is quite good. Large portions. My new go to for souvlaki. Rivals the Danforth.

It's suitable for gatherings, birthdays and is fully functional during the dance nights on the patio. Patio is covered and heated and on Friday & Saturday nights will only offer bottle service and dance parties with a live DJ. We made a reservation for Friday evening on the patio. Unfortunately, the servers seated all couples cramped in one corner, even though there were many tables available; that made everyone uncomfortable. We ordered Red Wine, "Trio Dip" and "Spaducci Skewers". The food was delicious, but we could've enjoyed our night even more if the sitting arrangements were better.

The table ordered a bunch of different items. Everyone has mixed opinions about their food. The sliders, this was so incredibly dry that I had to ask for any sauce to eat it. Paired with fries which were tasty. I had asked to have my food packed (all items ) they didn't pack half of it. The service was good, she was sweet the ambiance was nice but overall, the food review for most guest present was below average. Several chicken skewers brought to the table were uncooked (pink) and had to sent back for further cooking.

It was really hard to flag down our waitress as she never made eye contact towards our table, so my friend had an empty drink for 20min. The food was good once it came out though. Milo's Greek Restaurant has been in its Pickering location forever. It was here when I moved to…read morePickering, 25 years ago, and it has been ages since I've been back. Me and some family members were in the area, and decided to give it a try. We were greeted and seated promptly and then, for the longest time ... nothing. As it turned out, we'd spend a lot longer at this restaurant than we had anticipated. After about 20 minutes, a kind and apparently exhausted waitress appeared, so we ordered drinks and saganaki to start. 10 minutes later, our drinks appeared, and we ordered our main courses then. Although the menu gave prices for wine by the glass, half litre or bottle, we were told that they don't have enough wine to offer any more than a glass at a time. Strange, and unexpected. Eventually, the saganaki (Greek flaming cheese) arrived, and it was really, really good - a generous triangle of grilled, flaming cheese, easily split between the three of us. It was served with some odd bread, which resembled buttered and toasted hot dog or burger buns. This helped take the edge off our hunger as we waited for our main course. And waited. Looking at the time, I noticed that we had already spent over 60 minutes in the restaurant, which was extremely chilly on a cold winter's evening. Many customers, including us, wore their coats throughout the evening. Apparently, the restaurant dining area is heated only by two electric fire places. Our waitress came out and let us know that we had to wait because my daughter's order of octopus was taking a while. At this point, we had already committed to being here, so we had no choice but to see it through. Finally, the food came out. My daughter's octopus was, sadly, overcooked and tough, but still tasty, and the lemon roasted potatoes were excellent. My husband's roasted lamb did not seem like it was prepared as a roast, as there was no browning or roast] flavor, but seemed to have been prepared in a pressure cooker or slow cooker. I had ordered the Moussaka, and had high expectations, based on my memory of Milo's creamy, eggplant-filled, nicely seasoned Moussaka of my distant, long-ago previous visit. However, my portion of Moussaka had the oddest texture: rather mushy and grainy. The well-seasoned, savory tasting ground beef of my memories had now been transformed into a rather average-tasting ground beef mixture that would have been equally at home in a sloppy joe. And I could not find an eggplant in the casserole at all ... well, maybe it had somehow been reduced to such mushiness that it lost it's eggplant quality, but I could swear that it was missing. It was all edible food, though, but not up to our expectations. I hate to give any place a lowly, two-star review. I had hoped for much more, because there is so much about Milo's to raise one's hopes: it's not a big chain, but locally, family-run; it has an appealing and timeless Mediterranean decor; and the menu offers many interesting Greek choices. A few small changes would be an upgrade: better bread, some additional staff and a few space heaters would be a good start. Milo's is the type of restaurant that I would love to support, but I've read enough reviews with similar observations that I am unlikely to return.

While in line, someone suggested the souvlaki and I was already aiming to get a gyro so I knew we were gonna be good. Parking was busy but not impossible to find here. It's fast casual. You can get food, some extra desserts and drinks/coffee and extra pita/flatbread or tzatziki sauce. I got a gyro and a "small" poutine. Let me just say that I've had a LOT of gyros and this one was by far the best. Tons of meat, toppings, just enough tzatziki that I didn't want to order an extra side (still should've). The poutine was enough to feed a family of four. Holy smokes this was spectacular. I'd have gotten extra gravy bc it's so much tastier here in Canada than anyplace in the USA. Family owned, this is a great place to come alone or with friends. You can eat something different every single time and it's just so delicious. I will be back. My goal is to try more stuff every time I'm here but the gyro was perfection so who knows? Support small owned businesses!
