I have been to this place on numerous occasions and I can say that it has been consistently good which is rare experience these days. Food is always hot and I like how they cook the meat right in front of you. I have been to several restaurants where the food is cold or lukewarm which is a big pet peeve of mine. I am not a big fan of the bar stool seating although it is more intended for take out. Wish they had actual tables and chairs to sit. When we are in the area though, we often will come here and order the chicken souvlaki dinner. read more

Always great food although I always order too much! Order via phone and it's always ready when promised read more

It's amazing. So amazing that you don't even need words to describe their food. Your reaction to how good it is, is enough to say.

Ordered Dinner for the entire family through UberEats. I'm very impressed with the temperature of the food, given it took 30 minutes for Uber to pick it up, yet it still tasted fresh. The only thing I wish was different is more options with my Souvlaki dinner. I would've liked to try their greek fries, as my side but I digress, the potatoes were done to perfection and the chicken on my families plate looked like a long strip of grilled chicken compared to my lamb which was cut into cubes as is the usual for that cut of meat. Masterfully done, spiced perfectly and just a light bit of rare in the meat I enjoyed every bite then moved on to my potatoes and rice(I hate plane fries), the sauces from the meat and potatoes combined to make the rice irresistible. I ate all I could eat and had enough left over for todays dinner. read more

My go-to place for a healthy meal in Bloor West Village. I'm very picky on produce and they always have very fresh lettuce and tomatoes. The feta truly melts in your mouth. I always order the chicken salad meal. The warm pita and tzatziki they give you on the side is to die for. Really, I can't believe this is a fast food kind of place. They put a lot of care into the food. I cant admit, I almost wrote a slightly poor review for this place when I was offended by a rude 20-something year old smart-ass they had working the counter. But as of lately the woman they have currently employed there are super friendly and patient. (You can tell I go here a lot). read more

I am a shut in and handicapped. Last night my friend decided to treat me to a restaurant dinner. We live in Etobicoke, and I';m not sure which souvlaki Hut restaurant she got but it was the most horrible souvlaki I have ever had. The potatoes were the best part of the meal. I live at Eringate and 27 Highwas. I thought it was beef souvlaki, it was that dark. I know pork has to be a certain temperature, but you should still be able to chew it. The hunks of lettuce had to be cut up so I could eat the salad and 1 black olive. Peter's Place have excellent souvlaki, and not once have I ever got just 1 black olive. The pita was so hard I couldn't eat it. I tried cutting the meat with a steak knife, but couldn't even chew it. Wish my friend had shared with me which restaurant she got it from, because now if someone asks me about my dinner, I will be very honest with them and tell them not to buy from the closest store to us. Skip the dish wasn't much better. They were told I was handicapped, asked to phone me when they got here and knock on the door. It was suposed to be delivered by 4:30 and when it wasn't she suggested I check the door. They had put it right in front of the front door, and I had to try and get the door open and get out to eat it. This has put me off even trying to order from a restaurant if they use the same people, I won't order from them either. A very disappointed person receiving a good deed from a good friend read more

We ordered a chicken souvlaki dinner and an extra side if potatoes. We paid a good $30 for the meal. When the meal was opened it was discovered that they completely messed up the order. They gave us a container of potatoes with chicken. They however did not provide us with the dinner as was requested. When we called to inquire regarding the issue the staff member stated that we were only charged for what we ordered. Please always double check what you are served when taking the good to go. The amount we paid was for a full meal and a side. Not just a side with bits of chicken. I am highly disgusted and dissapointend by the poor customer service they provided us at the Blood West location. Website does not provide with management contact email. Did not offer any refund or attempt to solve problem. read more

This is the second time I've been to souvlaki hut. The first time was amazing! The portion Was huge- had the chicken souvlaki dinner with Greek salad. So much feta on new salad. It was fresh and so tasty. Tonight my boyfriend and I decided to get the large dinner and split it, seeing how the individual was so super big last time. Definitely not impressed this time. Food was so bland, tazikiki had no taste ( just tasted like sour cream) and the salad was brown And oily. I would have given a one star review, but the first time was so good. I was very disappointed, I love greek food. read more

This is a great place to eat. A little small inside; it will accommodate something like 12 persons at any time. Staff is attentive. The small souvlaki gyro dinner isn't. read more

Souvlaki Hut - The facade. Great food for a good price. - Salad Near Me - Toronto, Ontario

Amazing service and BEST chicken souvlaki! Tasty, moist, fresh and light. The place is super clean, so are the washrooms. The soap smells divine. The employees were happy and having fun. Service was quick although they made everything to order. Price is what you would expect. 12$ for a trio with salad. I will be back read more

Some of the worst food I've ever been served. Ordered the lamb souvlaki on a Greek salad. Meat was tough and full of gristle. Super gross. Service was gruff. Expensive too! This place has little going for it. read more

Love it!!! This is my regular eat out spot! Food is always fresh.... Friendly Staff and Management! read more

Very very very good. Never disappointed. Great Greek salad great chicken great everything except the garlic bread threw me for a bit of a loop. I ordered garlic bread and it was prepared on hotdog buns and under toasted. I ended up throwing it in the broiler at home toasting it up a little bit more and to be honest it did taste like garlic bread but the fact that they prepared it on hotdog buns was a little strange. read more

Great place and good portions for price. Very friendly service by waitress. Loved the fresh tomato salad I had and others agreed was good!

Avoid the Bloor West location. Go to the Etobicoke one instead. When they first opened, everything was great. I would usually go out of my way to Dundas West location in Etobicoke, until this location opened. After a few months, they changed owners. Ever since, I have given these guys so many "breaks" they have screwed up my order 100% of the time. We call in our order, usually dinner for 4-6 people. Either they miss the pita bread, leave out a salad, forget one of the sides or give us brown/old salad. Its really disappointing, the last 2 orders were the last draw. Both times, called in the order, confirmed the order 3 times with them, said to come in 20 mins, we showed up in 25 mins and still had to wait another 20 mins for them to start the order. No only that, i confirm the order and they mixed up the meats and what sides went with that order. These people do not know how to run a business. Its frustrating that you give a business so many chances and they just keep screwing up. It's the people running the place, disorganized and i doubt this place will last. My advice, take the extra 10 mins drive and go to the location in Etobicoke. They have never, ever messed up my order in the 3+ years I've been going there. read more

great food, fast and polite workers :) recently I have a feeling prices have gone up so for a souvlaki sandwich it's about $10 incl tax. I still buy it whenever I pass nearby and haven't eaten anything :) read more

You notice the great service from the second you walk in. A very nice and welcoming greeting. Ordered the chicken souvlaki dinner but wanted mostly salad with a tiny bit of rice so she recommended that I get the chicken salad because it was cheaper and that she'd throw in some rice at no cost. Bonus! The food arrived. Salad was perfect. Chicken was delicious but as the other reviewers mentioned, the portion was kind of small. Tried some of my girlfriends potatoes and gyros as well and they were really good as well. Ordinarily I would give 4 stars due to the portion size but the abundance of salad, the free rice and the complimentary dessert made up for it. read more

Love this place (and I'm Greek, so I believe I have a pretty good grasp of Greek food). I've had the gyro and souvlaki dinners. For a quick fast-food style spot, it's excellent. read more

Not a bad deal for a sandwich. Filing for a decent price. Not the best quality around but was satisfied with my meal

I went to get lunch around 3PM after finishing a business call outside. The manager/owner saw me waiting at the cash register and came up and told me that he's not taking orders -- he's on break. I asked if there was somebody else that could take my order and he said no. Another potential customer came in and he refused to serve him too. I told him that he should have locked up and posted a sign that he was closed for the time being. Instead of taking my feedback and apologizing for the lack of service, he pointed out that I was standing out front on the phone -- implying that it's my own fault that he was not willing to serve me. His employees in the past have been amazing, which goes to show that all it takes is one bad experience... read more

This is my very first Yelp Review. In fact I just installed the app now just so I can share my two cents. I arrived at the store Yesterday at 8pm, ordered two gyros and left the store to browse the stores around the area. I came back to the restaurant 15 min later to relapse that my order was not even processed, meat skewer off, etc. After they see me one lady asked the other other if they had made my order. At this point the other girl kept arguing with her and herself about 'where's the cook, this isn't my job, I'm tired of this' etc. Being an open kitchen restaurant you see everything. She then apologized for the lateness and said my order would be rushed. When I got my food I ate one shortly after on the bus. The bread was not grilled and barely warm. The meat was not properly cooked and barely warm. As well as I asked for extra tzatziki sauce however she put so much that the gyro was swimming in it. And with the bread not toasted, everything was just a soggy mess. I want to also mention that this was not an isolated incident. A few weeks back I also witness a ton of arguing from the same individual. With the poor quality of food and atmosphere, I'm having second thoughts going back here. read more

We ordered one Chicken Souvlaki Dinner Combo and one Gyros Combo. Combo come with salad, pop, and honey stick. When we got home, we noticed that salad, pops and honey sticks were missing. I called them and complained about this. They said "only three people are working in this tiny store. You came here at busy time". That's what she said. Even though it was busy time, how can you forget so many things? In the entire conversation over phone, she didn't apologize at all. First thing you have to do is to APOLOGIZE to a customer, isn't it? We were so tired today so we decided to pick up....Everything was disappointed. we will NEVER order food from here. read more
