They welcomed us inside, gave us water, and let us cool off in the air conditioning while we waited for help. Their compassion and willingness to help complete strangers meant more than they probably realize. It's rare to find businesses that genuinely care about people, and these are truly good guys who went out of their way to help when we needed it most. I highly recommend this company not only for their storage services, but because they are kind, caring people who treat others with respect and compassion. Thank you again for your generosity and hospitality.

I purchased a high-end desk chair which developed a nasty squeak about two months after I bought it. They had to get approval from their home office to replace it, which took about 10 days, but the authorization came through. They replaced it with another used chair of the same model, but no squeak. I have had no problems with the chair since this replacement. Four stars instead of five because of the complicated replacement process.

They helped us with the process from start to finish, from choosing fabric that would be sturdy and stain resistant (and still pretty) to adding coordinating fabric for window treatments. The staff was professional and kind, finished the job in a timely manner, and we felt the cost was reasonable. Our camper went from outdated and drab to beautiful and inviting and we had some good times camping together. The updates also added value to the camper and we had no problem selling it when we no longer needed it. My husband just built a banquette for our kitchen and I'll be calling Kingston to cover the cushions for the benches.

After getting a quote from The Shade Store, I wasn't quite sold.  Their initial quote for our shades seemed extremely overpriced for what we wanted and the lack of customer service was a huge turnoff.  After they came and made the measurements, I didn't hear back from them for over a week, even after I called. My husband and I bought a beautiful new home with tons of windows.  Luckily, most of the windows face our courtyard and not the front nor back of the house, which allow us incredible amounts of light but with much desired privacy.  We can walk around butt naked in the middle of the day without scaring people.  After moving from downtown LA, living in a loft, the light was a welcome change.  Even tho we want to keep our home light and airy, we still need to block the sunlight at times in the bedrooms and media room.  We didn't want anything ornate nor technical.  I wanted the shades to look seamless with the white walls.  Almost unnoticeable.  The Shade Store kept pushing us for valances which I hate.  They remind me of grandma's house.  I also only wanted blackouts in the guest room and media room.  I wanted to keep our office and master bedroom open and full of light.  What I'm trying to say is, what I desired wasn't about the cost but more about what I wanted.  And what I want is simplicity.  Marla and John from Budget Blinds actually listened to and came through with what we wanted.  Not only did they come under 1000 bucks less (actually more than that) than Shade Store, the shades we chose are of much higher quality.  After the installation, I can not be happier.  Also, as I'm sure everyone has noticed during these crazy covid times,  any purchase take forever to get.  Weeks, if not months.  Our timeline was about 3 to 4 weeks for delivery and installation and here we are 2 weeks later, DONE!John and Marla are just lovely people to work with.  Kind and honest.  They truly want their clients to be happy and satisfied, and we most certainly are. Ok... just found out that Marla and John are the new owners of this location so you should take that into consideration when reading older reviews.

I decided to drive a little further from home and I am so very glad I did! (Warehouse price was comparable to the "70% off" big box store.) Eric helped me (he helped me the other times) and he is an excellent framer! His recommendation for mats for our print was superb. I am so pleased with the work he did.
