I understand that costs have risen, but doubling the price for a consultation feels excessive. I used to believe this doctor truly had their patients' best interests at heart, but now it seems like they are taking advantage of the desperation many long-haul patients feel. I wish they would consider that most long-haul patients are unable to work, and such drastic price increases make it nearly impossible for many to access the care they desperately need. read more

I had a mixed experience at Southwest Pain Management (SPM) after flying a long distance and paying out of pocket for a Stellate Ganglion Block on both sides. I have to give them five stars for their medical professionalism and how closely they monitored me during the procedure. Everything went smoothly with the actual injection, and I was carefully watched for about two hours afterward, mainly to track my blood pressure, which tends to spike after this kind of treatment. But unfortunately, it was my experience in the recovery room that was truly awful. After the second injection, I started feeling pretty overwhelmed. I was dizzy, nauseated, emotionally raw, and really vulnerable. Some people experience emotional releases after this procedure, and I certainly did--crying, mood swings, the whole bit. While the staff had informed me that this was common, instead of feeling cared for, I felt disregarded. The nurse assigned to my care, Dawn, was incredibly dismissive. I asked for simple things to help me feel more comfortable, like a blanket because I felt cold, a pillow to put under my knees, and for the loud music in the recovery room to be turned down, but she just responded with annoyance, saying, "You'll have to give me a minute. I'm a nurse first," and then ignored all of my requests. The vibe from her had me feeling like I was bothering her just by needing basic care. Being in such a stripped down and vulnerable state, it reinforced early feelings of powerlessness and shame at needing care. It was honestly traumatic. Additionally, once my blood pressure stabilized, they told me I could go. No one checked in with me to see how I was doing or told me what to expect next. I had to ask the receptionist what I should do after leaving, and she told me I'd get a follow-up call the next day--which never came. That left a really bad taste in my mouth. The whole experience felt a bit like a medical assembly line--efficient, but without any emotional care or empathy. If SPM could improve their approach and better address the non-medical needs of their patients, it would make a huge difference. Unfortunately, because of the way I was treated afterward, I left feeling worse than when I arrived, which was really disappointing, and so easily avoided. read more

I wish that I could give Dr. Groysman and Southwest Pain Management more than 5 Stars!! My 11-year old son had an appointment to see Doctor Groysman for his Long Covid in November 2023. Doctor Groysman sat with us and discussed our son's condition, he recommended supplements to help him, and then performed a Stellate Ganglion Block. My son has had Long Covid since he first had Covid in 2020, when he was eight. Since then, he has suffered with constant nausea, full-body nerve pain, loss of mobility, stomach pain and constipation, bladder issues, brain fog, anxiety, and PEM, as well as other symptoms. The day we went into Dr. Groysman's clinic, my son could barely move his legs, and he screamed in pain if we manually moved them. We had to bring him into the clinic in a wheelchair. A short while after the procedure, though, my son walked out of Dr. Groysman's clinic with very little pain (with me pushing the empty wheelchair behind him)! It has been a month since we went to see Dr. Groysman and my son is no longer in pain, he is not nauseous, he says his brain is clear, he is not anxious, he is having regular bowel movements, he is sleeping better, and he is so happy! We feel so incredibly blessed to have found Doctor Groysman!! He is intelligent, compassionate, and dedicated to helping his patients! The entire staff at Southwest Pain Management is also just so lovely! They were kind, patient, and caring! We are so very grateful for Dr. Groysman and Southwest Pain Management!! read more

I went there had all my tests. They never gave me the results said I would have to drive to there which is Dallas.

I am so FRUSTRATED with the STAFF at Southwest Pain Management. I had a refill on 10/21/23, Carolyn called for payment so the prescription could be sent to the pharmacy to be filled. On the past prescriptions I have received a email from the Pharmacy stating that they have received the prescription and would notify me when it ships. After about 5 days of no email I called and talked to Carolyn to see if the prescription had been sent. She did not know and would have to get back to me. NO ONE GOT BACK TO ME. After 5 more calls and NO ONE ABLE TO ANSWER where the prescription had been sent or not I called after hours and got Dawn. She proceeds to tell me it is on back order. Something to do with some foam they can not get. THIS PRESCRIPTON does not contain FOAM. Today 11/10 I called the pharmacy to see if they had the prescription, THEY HAVE NEVER RECEIVED IT! NOR IS THE PRODUCT ON BACK ORDER! Due to not getting my medicine I am in FULL FLARE UP. But NO ONE at the office CARES! I have sent the DR. 2 emails from the patient portal and NO ANSWER! THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO HANDLE YOUR PATIENTS! read more

I like Dr. Groysman very much. He is very empathetic about the pain his patients are dealing with. He is always thinking outside of the box and doesn't just rely on narcotics. Living life on pain meds is not a long term solution for obvious health and dependence issues, and Dr. Groysman always seems to be looking for the long term solution. However, at the same time he does realize that sometimes pain medicine is a necessity when dealing with long term pain. I injured myself a few weeks ago, and within 12 hours he had imaging performed and had me a diagnosis and treatment plan. I have never felt like a doctor was in such a hurry to help me feel better. His staff is also kind and very hard working. I really can't say enough about how great Dr. Groysman's entire practice is. read more

I had been struggling with Long Covid symptoms as well as Parosmia and Dysgeusia for 9 months. I had chatted with Dr Groysman on a couple of fb support groups that I am in as well as in fb messenger about my condition. I live in Oregon and booked a flight down to Texas to see him for a Stellate Ganglion Block (SGB) procedure to basically reset my sympathetic nervous system. The procedure took just a few minutes and I immediately had my taste and smell back!! Dr Groysman and his staff are absolutely amazing... from Hailey his receptionist when I first scheduled my appointment and at check in, to Dawn the lady who sat up by my head and stroked my hair during the procedure, to Yvette who helped the Dr during the procedure, to Dr Groysman for being a master of this technique to get the amazing results that he does, and to Maya who helped me after the procedure. I've been seeing Dr Groysman for about 2 years for my knee pain and he has done a wonderful job of keeping me almost pain free. He is very considerate and concerned for his patients. He's great to talk to and listens to your concerns. Yesterday I also met Dr DeLillo, he did the anesthesia while Dr Groysman gave me my shots. He also seemed very concerned, and an extremely pleasant attitude which put me at ease. My final summary is that both these doctors are very knowledgeable and professional and have great "bedside manners". I highly recommend the Southwest Pain Management team. read more
