Very disappointing, poor cleaning service.
We went with Southwest Janitors because they offered a package price for deep cleaning, carpet cleaning, and window cleaning. The outgoing tenants of our condo left quite a lot of dirt behind from neglecting to clean during their tenancy, so we needed a deep cleaning. We left the condo when Joe arrived to get started, and came back about 5 hours later when it was dark. Even in the artificial light we could see that he had missed a lot of areas, but the light or morning revealed just how poorly the cleaning job was.
* Upper celestory windows were not squeegeed - just hosed off
* Hard flooring in all rooms was cleaned in the main traffic areas only. Areas behind toilets, in corners and out of the way places was left as-is
* Carpet was "cleaned" using a van-mounted hot water extraction system, but he did not vacuum it first. The dog smell came back with a vengeance the next day after it dried, and the marks were still present. I had to have another (reputable) carpet cleaning company come out, who vacuumed small areas of the carpet with a filter in place, and showed my large amounts of dirt and fur still in the carpet - which is why it smelled bad. The second carpet cleaning was expensive, but it needed to be done
Overall, the work was unsatisfactory and ineffective. My wife and I spent the entire next day finishing the cleaning job that Joe started, and making arrangements to get the carpet cleaned again. I would say that Joe got our place about 50-60 percent cleaner than what it was, but not including the carpet which was made worse by his inept attempt at steam cleaning without prior vacuuming.
