My one complaint is that the prices were quite high - I have been to many foodie Detroit restaurants and am aware when I go to these restaurants that I will be spending a pretty penny. I felt for its location and the value of the food, I felt it was a little overpriced. With my sandwich, I ordered poutine. The consistency and flavor of the gravy made the poutine much better than average. As for the Italian beef, it did not disappoint. I regret getting just sweet peppers, as I should have gotten either hot or mild peppers with the sweet. I did get the whole sandwich dipped in au jus, which was the right move. This was my first time having an Italian beef, so it's hard to judge, but I definitely enjoyed it. Next time, I will bring cash to pay, and might even try some of the other menu items.
