They offered me the membership and I needed to wait for my wife to try it to confirm if we would actually get the treatment. Needless to say she loved it and well we are now members. The cryotherapy is amazing I recommend that you find a good song that keeps you mentally tapped in otherwise it will be a long 3 minutes. I always come out feeling rejuvenated and ready to attack the day! Also don't forget the add-ons like the localized treatments and the float therapy, the nortek compression for legs or hips.

Basics: - Make an appointment - 1st freeze is $10 - Most people wear shorts & sports bra. - Masks are required to enter. - Kick off your shoes at the door & apply plastic gloves (provided). Sign-in on the clip-board & do a temperature reading. - They will direct you to a bench where you put on the clean gear they provide (socks, mittens, head wrap & slippers) - Pick an upbeat song to listen to during your freeze. - Go in the entry chamber for 20 seconds, then they will direct you to open & close the freezing chamber door as quickly as possible. - Move around to the music. I also countdown from 100 twice when I freeze alone. The attendant outside the chamber will also hold up flash cards with the remaining time left. The last 30 seconds are the hardest. - You'll come out feeling tingly and energized. The first time I did the freeze, I got cold induced hives. Those went away after about 6 hours. I take a Zyrtec before going in now and I move my arms around more while freezing now and haven't had hives again. I've heard this is somewhat common, but happens less as you continue to have freezing sessions. - Think about your finances before joining a membership after your first freeze. There is an option to have a trail week for $49 that I wish I had done. There was an incentive package I signed up for a little too quickly where the monthly fee is $157/ month for the first 3 months and then $175/ month thereafter. This includes daily freezing with some add-on treatments to isolate problem areas. I don't have a picture of the incentive package I was shown, but did take a picture of the standard rates. The staff at the Cryo Lounge are very nice and are good about calming your nerves and walking you through the process. My favorite attendant outside the chamber is Natalie.

Upon arrival I was greeted and walked through the facility, checking out the various rooms for treatments. This included an infrared sauna, float tank and cryotherapy rooms. Some items can be rented and used at home as well. Some areas are connected to showers as well, which is very convenient for those days you're on the go. The cryotherapy session was awesome. I stripped down to a bra and shorts, used their socks, gloves, shoes, ear warmer and headphones. The session was approximately 2-2.5 minutes and I loved the lights on the door that timed down the session. Cold but exhilarating! Sessions are promoted as a calorie burner as well. Memberships are offered for those that would like regular sessions throughout the month. I went home planning to follow up and join, but realized I missed the initial membership pricing and changed my mind. While the new memberships are interesting and save you money, the amount of services within the monthly price was largely reduced. Still bummed about that miss to be grandfathered in. If you would like to gift someone a visit to use a float less tank, sauna, etc., this is a center to consider. Booking sessions appears easy online.
