We had the crepes and they were perfectly cooked and delicious. So many options to choose from, too! We'll be going back to try more!

I see where they were going with the cream cheese but I think it made it more heavier for my taste. 8/10 for the pancake as a whole, pretty descent. Bacon was really good and seemed like legit bacon. Eggs are in comparison to how most other restaurants cook eggs. Giving 4 stars because my first time here wasn't so bad. I would want to try the other menu options. Cute place, nice people. I would try again (:

Seeing Zero on the App wait list, we arrived at 9:30am, with just a few people in the lobby area, we thought we'll be stared soon. They asked us to wait for a table to be ready. Over the next 1/2 hr, the lobby stared to fill up and we watched tables of 2 and 3 go right past us, one after another. By 10:20am, we were standing next to a few newly arrived parties of 5 and 6. Hungry and frustrated, we asked if they could push 2, tables together to seat us, we were promptly told No. But they can separate us. By 10:30, we were hopeful, but a bit 'hangry', then they seated a table of 5 that entered around 10:10... we walked out after an hour of waiting. My wife was upset and crying in the car. We decided to go home to make breakfast. Before the kids leave the next day, we'd try again at a different restaurant. The food and service have always been great here! I can understand having new, inexperienced staff at a busy restaurant can be challenging, but unfortunately, this experience will leave a bad taste for a while.

The build-your-own skillet and the pancakes (whether you get them gluten-free or regular) are must-tries. The prices are also pretty affordable. You order at the cash register first and then find a seat, so keep that in mind. We went during a slower time, but I can definitely see this place getting busy during peak hours. There's a parking lot and there's additional seating available outside. Overall, it's a great spot for breakfast or lunch, and we'll definitely be back!

The menu is on the wall and hard to read so I asked the woman behind the counter if they had a paper menu, She rolled her eyes and pushed one across the counter like I was inconveniening her. I placed my order, and she told me to go find a table and the food would be out soon. As soon as I sat down, she came out and brought me my coffee. I asked for cream and sugar, and she said it was on the counter inside. It was a giant cup of coffee (which is awesome) but it was filled to the top. So I burned my hand when I spilled it, trying to get in sugar. By this time I was very frustrated. I went back to my table and my food came up almost immediately. The server was smiling and friendly. The food looked amazing and tasted even better. Iordered almond les leches french toast, cheese grits and bacon. The greats are okay, but nothing specia but the french toast was out of this world. It was thick, cut, smoked bacon that tasted fantastic. The server and the food saved this visit for me. I am going to assume that the woman at the counter was having a bad day and not let it keep me from coming back.

The coffee is good, though it would be nice if they didn't charge extra for non-dairy milk, which can feel unfair to people with allergies or those choosing plant-based options. I've also noticed that prices seem to have increased again! Overall, this is a place we enjoy and will continue to visit. We just hope they'll consider addressing these small issues.

I could have easily gone to one of the coffee shops I already knew but that simply wasn't a satisfying thought to be frank. I bothered to google search to find something new for me to experiment/experience. I did the right thing. Getting here was a bit tricky. My GPS took me to a different building which I knew wasn't the right place. I almost left without making any further effort but good thing that I remained resilient in my quest. At last, I finally came to the right building. "Is this a church?" was what I thought once I was inside the building. Well, precisely speaking, it's a grad school (Augustine Institute; if you get lost like I did due to my inaccurate GPS directions, put Augustine Institute in your map), an institution where students major in Catholic apostolate. But you need not worry what your religious views or background is. The coffee shop has a very welcoming atmosphere where all are welcome and accepted no matter what you are. Such feeling came when Jack, the kind and warm hearted barista upfront, not only asked me my name but also introduced himself to me like a good neighbor does. What an ice breaker it was to warm me up upon arrival. The customer service is simply impeccable here. I ordered a cappuccino. And to go along with the caffeine, I got me the ham & cheese croissant. And to enjoy this place fully I opted for dine in (as I was not in a hurry.) There was another young man upfront alongside Jack. That young man brought me my cappuccino to my table. Later, Jack brought me my croissant. I really liked the way they warmed up my savory. They used a panini maker to press it down so the croissant was flattened to fairly thin. All the ingredients were nice and warm to the right temperature. I still tasted the flaky croissant on the outside. I've never seen a croissant served like this so I found it to be very creative. My cappuccino tasted wonderfully. Whereas I do like the bitter coffee taste sometimes I prefer it to be mellowed out by whatever the dairy product they use so it's creamy to some extent. Since I asked for whole milk (as Jack asked me what kind of mild I wanted) the kind of milk I chose was just the right kind to make my cappuccino to be the perfection of artisan coffee. Quiet and cozy with comfort seatings through, my late morning coffee time was simply perfect.

There's plush seating sprinkled throughout the space, to enjoy serene panoramic views of green and blue just beyond the windows. Even the outdoor space provided is therapeutic, with fountains gurgling on both sides of the pond. My only complaint would be the distinct lack of friendliness shown from the short curly, dark-haired barista who took my order. She puts off unwelcoming vibes, 100%. I still plan on returning with my family, because happily, it's a tucked away spot that feels inviting enough without the help of servers. The pastries looked delightful, too. I recommend checking this place out if you're in the area, it's a fun escape while grabbing fuel.
